Literally who asked for this? Super Troopers 2 already made the 1st movie cringe. Now they've ruined it completely. For what purpose? Why don't they just leave it be? It's so sad how they do everything to destroy our childhood.
>>
is it worse than 2?
>>
>>223603754
>Literally who asked for this?

jew producers who want to rape the audience out of as much money as possible for some gay nostalgia bait that will be awful?
>>
>>223603775
2 sucked, I couldnt even watch this shit longer than 20 minutes
>>
>>223603775
2 had a few good laughs and it seems to get slightly better every time I watch it. 3 had like two actual "laugh out loud" moments, and I don't think it's gonna have any replay value.
>>
>>223603754
A paycheque's a paycheque
>>
Have any of the Broken Lizard guys gotten work over the past 20 years? They're probably the ones who asked for it.
>>
I saw 2 on the opening weekend and the place was empty.
I can't believe a third was made desu.
>>
>>223604019
Why you gotta spell it all faggoty like that?

A couple of them were in 'Tacoma FD', which lasted for four seasons.
>>
>>223604506
Four seasons too many, it seems.
>>
>>223603754
Yea, why could they possibly need money, why dont they just take money from their money tree that their father grew in the backyard?
>>
>>223603754
I’ll always go out and support these types of early 00s dorm room DVD comedies desu. Broken Lizard has never made a truly great movie, but I appreciate that they’re still doing their thing and they seem like a fun group to hang out with.
>>
>>223603754
These guys were funny as shit. Like Everything they made up to Slammin Salmon was the funniest shit ever. Then they did that quasimodo movie and I didn't even smile once the entire time. Super Troopers 2 had some laughs but that was just because the guys playing over the top stereotypical Canadians were funny. I think time just went by and this humor don't work anymore
>>
>>223604019
it's spelled paycheck you canadian faggot
>>
>>223604764
Beerfest>Troopers 1>Club Dread>Troopers 2>Slammin’ Salmon>Troopers 3>Puddle Cruiser>Quasi
>>
>>223604820
Slammin salmon is above troopers 2 just stop.
>>
>>223604506
I tried watching Tacoma fd and it just felt like diet super troopers, with way less jokes and none of my favorite characters. Maybe 1 funny joke per episode at best
>>
>>223604506
I follow these guys on Facebook and they always go on hysterical rants about wanting to do more Tacoma but no one wants to fund it
>>
Club Dread is too smart of a movie for your average film goer. The girl I dated at the time who saw it with me said it was stupid because it was comedy and horror at the same time
>>
>>223604961
Bill Paxton was definitely a "when is he bad in anything?" actor. F
>>
>>223604903
Hassie Harrison is smoking hot though
>>
These guys got their careers fucked hard by Artie Lange who also released a beer themed movie at the same time as theirs and it was utter shit and everyone associated their movie with his
>>
>>223603775
I thought it was a little better personally.
>>
>>223605025
That's a very brown-skinned reason to watch a shitty show
>>
>>223603754
3 was an improvement over 2, but still mediocre.
>>
>>223604961
If you wanna fun-arrest me, come back with a fun-fucking-warrant!
>>
I always found the Indian guy to be funny but now that we are in the era of Indian hate I am afraid to hear his view on politics.
>>
>>223605069
I watched the first couple of seasons on Netflix. It’s a comfy enough comedy series and the Broken Lizard guys are always likable.
>>
>>223605047
No one except you have any fucking clue what you're rambling about
>>
>>223605118
What is it with these random angry autism replies? Most likely you aren't even in the thread anymore
>>
>>223605173
NTA, but Artie’s Beer League was a straight to video release so I doubt it overshadowed Beerfest.
>>
>>223605173
What in the fuck are you rambling about now? Yeah i get mad seeing retards like you spout off retarded shit and especially when you act hurt when called out.
>>
>>223605197
Artie Lange was a much bigger name then they were and that movie was advertised constantly on Howrd Stern which was the most popular radio show in America.

>>223605202
kys you retarded autist faggot
>>
I am the only person that watched the Beerfest CW show
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCKWDpj21qU
>>
>>223605244
Again though, Beer League never got any sort of wide theatrical release, so it’s not like most moviegoers in 2006 were seeing both listed at their local theater leading to confusion.
>>
>>223605287
God I miss this Spike TV style era.
>>
>>223605311
Again you can be popular and not be in theaters and it helped a lot that you would get constant advertising on the biggest radio show in America
>>
>>223605387
Okay, but Beer League wasn’t that popular. You’re overestimating Stern’s national influence even in 2006. His show was mostly syndicated in larger markets.
>>
>>223605456
Yes it bombed. I never said otherwise. But it was infamous and people knew about it because it was heavily marketed. I am not overestimating anything I lived during that time and remembered this
>>
>>223605483
Yeah but your memory may be a bit fuzzy. I just double checked and Stern left terrestrial radio at the end of 2005, so they would’ve been advertising Beer League to the very early Sirius audience.
>>
>>223605540
It's not hazzy at all and yes Stern had a massive audience on satellite and cable TV also. You were wrong
>>
>>223605572
Howard Stern was no longer at E at the time Beer League came out. That also ended in 2005.
>>
>>223605598
Cool he was still on the air with his show and you are wrong retard
>>
>>223605622
Okay, but that’s not what you said.
>>
>>223605627
What I said that was beer league was advertised on his show and it was. You were wrong autist and I accept your concession
>>
>>223605688
Hey, you’re the one who claimed that your memory isn’t 'hazzy' [sic]
>>
>>223605698
I accepted your concession we are good autist
>>
>>223605712
>Stern had a massive audience on satellite and cable TV also. You were wrong

Your words, not mine. They weren’t advertising Beer League on the cable version because it had ended in 2005.
>>
>>223605736
see previous post
>>
>>223605759
Next time take a few seconds to fact check before claiming that your memory isn’t "hazzy".

Do you miss out on anything if you watch 3 before watching the second movie?

yup your concession status is still the same

>>223606070
Maybe it’s stuck in 2005. Common mistake.

>>
>>223604506
Did the actress who played the daughter ever take her tits out in anything?
>>
>>223606120
You know, taking another gander at this >>223605622, "on the air" is more of terrestrial radio term, not satellite.
>>
>>223606181
lets just give it some more time first though
>>
>>223606187
'Broadcast' would’ve been a better choice of wording. You should’ve said that instead.

>>223606204
I'll give the system a reboot because I bet that is the first thing they will ask me to do

>>223606223

>>223606259
It won’t be.

>>
>>223606325
it is hanging a bit at a new spot now......
>>
>>223606355
Mentioning the cable show when it wasn’t even relevant? Now that’s a blunder. What happened there?

>>
possibly the only tolerable jeet in existence
>>

>if you find women hot, then you're brown
quit being a stupid nigger
>>
>>223603754
I'm going to be honest, I liked the first one but I didn't like it as much as everyone else does. What this means though is that my expectations are already lower so I didn't mind the second that much even though it was objectively worse. I'll watch this one tonight.
>>
>>223606571
Ok. I am back finally.
>>
>>223604679
>Broken Lizard has never made a truly great movie, but I appreciate that they’re still doing their thing and they seem like a fun group to hang out with.
This sums up how I feel.
>>
>>223606730
Where’d you go?
>>
>>223603754
simply don't watch movies that are bad
>>
How much screentime does Lisa Gilroy get? She’s my current comedy crush.
>>
>>223606746
The guy talked way too much when setting up my ticket.
>>
>>223606789
Okay, but what business is it? This is quite unusual.
>>
>>223606811
He created the ticket but we have to wait for them to look into it.
>>
>>223606875
At a physical location?
>>
>>223606954
and unfortunately he didn't give me an estimate on how long that would take.
>>
>>223606996
You couldn’t just call?
>>
>>223605244
I never even heard of this but me and everyone I know saw beerfest in theaters.
>>
>>223607027
so we could be waiting for a long time.
>>
>>223607054
Okay, well while you were gone, I noticed something else here >>223605483. Why was Beer League "infamous"?
>>
>>223607080
There is something I can do though in the meanwhile.
>>
>>223607097
Infamous seems like an odd word choice. Infamous to whom?
>>
>>223607113
We also store hard copies of concessions........
>>
>>223607154
Who is we?
>>
>>223607168
but there is an issue with that.
>>
>>223607193
Well you made this >>223605483 post before you established that you were having system problems, so that doesn’t seem relevant.
>>
>>223603754
Super Troopers 2 should have come out in 2005 at the latest and should have been about their shenanigans as Spurberry police officers. They also should've also pulled the trigger and made Pot Fest as a sequel to Beer Fest. I tried watching Super Troopers 2 and the premise was okay but the execution and pacing were terrible. Slammin Salmon is okay, but Waiting is the superior 00s restaurant comedy.

What can they possibly do for 3? They're now way too old and literally everybody hates cops.

>>223605047
Beer League, a made for Comedy Central film, had no effect on them whatsoever. It's also a perfectly okay mediocre Sunday afternoon film. Beer Fest underperformed but Club Dread is probably what stalled their careers. Almost everyone I knew back then who loved Super Troopers absolutely hated Club Dread
>>
>>223603754
super troopers has fallen
>>
>>223607234
it's a lot of files......
>>
>>223607299
Yes, you went somewhere and opened a ticket, but then you said this >>223607154. I don’t follow.
>>
>>223607339
like a shit ton of files.......
>>
>>223607409
Right, but who is the 'we' in this case and you said "also". So what else does this 'we' do in addition to storing copies of concessions? A bit confusing, no?
>>
>>223607446
I am talking like millions of concession are stored on site.....
>>
>>223607465
Okay, but you also work there?
>>
>>223607496
So I will look through them to see if I can find your concession
>>
>>223607543
Look through what?
>>
>>223607465
Also, you mean concessions, plural, I assume. Not "millions of concession".
