Then one day I was at a yard sale and I picked up what I thought was a cool alternative, an old school Westinghouse fan. Plugged it in and it worked like the day it was first sold. I ran the serial number on it (which is front and center so you can buy parts for it) and it's from 1955. This fan is 71 years old and works like new.
