What’s your favourite Stephen King slop?
>>223611939Pet Sematary 2
>>223611939Wes should sue
>>223612129For what?
>>223611939Phantoms
>>223611939Thinner is one of his better adaptations
Maximum Overdrive
>>223612580this, i love maximum overdrive
>>223611939The Cryptkeeper.
>>223611939Favorite Book: The GunslingerFavorite Genuinely Good Movie: Stand by MeMost disliked movie: SleepwalkersSlop that I still like: Maximum OverdriveThe most effective movie is probably Carrie. I still have a hard time watching that one to this day because the abuse shit is just too real. I couldn't watch it as a kid because it scared me too much, and I have a hard time watching it as an adult because it's too heavy.
>>223611939Watched Graveyard Shift last weekend, been one of my favorite King kino’s for a long time. Nothing “slop” about it. Nice pacing and the setting is perfect. The antagonist character is great although I can’t forgive him for stabbing the cute tomboy. Wish the exterminator character had a bigger role, he felt underutilized, should’ve at least made it into the catacombs. I plan on watching Pet Semetary, Maximum Overdrive, and Creepshow 1&2 later this month.
>>223612647>SleepwalkersWhy? I'm not saying it's good, but surely there are worse in the vast array of kingslops. The recent long walk adaption is worse.
>>223611939rose red, it's like a spiritual sequel to the langoliers
>>223612259Not that anon, not sure this is what they were talking about but It is basically just a convoluted ripoff of nightmare on elm street
>>223612276[Brushes cheek]Sergio
Absurd spooky kino. Season 2 got cancelled at the last second, so they re-worked the final episode to wrap up the story using a lot of footage cut from previous episodes. It's just a silly American version of The Kingdom.
>>223614016Graveyard Shift? Isn’t it about a giant killer bat creature that lives underground?
>>223614208It, one of stephen kings most famous books
>>223611939The Raft segment of Creepshow 2
>>223614224Idk, that’s a pretty flimsy comparison. The concept of Freddy feeding on fear is only very vaguely alluded to in the original and only right at the end.
>>223614267Not really. Stephen King was writing a long winded rehash of the stand by me short story, and probably watched nightmare on elm street on coke and added it to the story
>>223614334Well, that’s the core problem with IT. Everyone likes the 'ragtag group of kids take on the local monster' part, but not so much the other half where they come back as adults.
>>223614362All I’m saying is pennywise is a great value freddy krueger, maybe king didn’t rip it off, but I think his coked out self did a bit, a guy that grows in power from fear and attacks in your nightmares is scarier than a spirit that looks like a clown guy that feeds off your fear and fights a space turtle
Show's OVAH
>>223612129What is this, a nightmare on ANT street?
unc thinks anyone under 40 knows who the FUCK freddie kruger is

>>223614093imagine knowing at the time that that little girl would eventually grow big fat large booba. how does it effect how you interact with her? rape 2 times or just 1?
>>223614788
>>223614016IT is just Dean Koontz's Phantoms with adolescent sewer sex
