So the moral of the story is women lie to men to get what they want Barbie rejects Ken because and men and women should just stay single?
>>223615276forgive my drunk typng
I dont know I got like 20 minutes in and starting busting the fattest ropes of hot cum to the thought of fucking margot robbies pussy raw
>>223615276The film follows the feminist logic of self-emancipation which is really just a manifestation of liberal Enlightenment philosophy. The moral for Ken is to no longer define his existence relative to Barbie in some way (i.e. through acquiring her romantically) but to find instead something internal which grounds him. Of course the issue with these feminist/liberal/Enlightenment stories is that they never examine their own implications. For example, many people in modernity totally fail to develop this internal grounding and enter into a period of intense despair or nihilism, that is the so-called 'crisis of meaning'. It's also a kind of ominous foreshadowing of a future which is sexless and loveless as people's reason to be becomes entirely internal and therefore makes social relationships at best a fleeting and unnecessary aspect to life.
>>223615382yeah that sounds pretty good
>>223615382the genuine problem with this movie is that its hardly feminist at all. it might be considered first or second wave, but its clearly post enlightenment but pre-postmodern with hardly any modernist sensibilities to speak of. its 'product as form over anything' and its trite nonsense for women who recently got their first periods. genuine feminism is not on display at all in the film.
>>223615459it doesnt have a cohesive message or overall theme at all. i appreciate that.
Honestly, "it's fine to be single" is a pretty valid moral. Way too many people obsess way too much over relationships.
>>223615382>but to find instead something internal which grounds himExistentialism is just nihilism with a make-believe happy ending, which only makes sense to them because the vapid reductionist dogma of the "Enlightenment" declares every meaning but itself to be made-up.Barbie is just feminist identity politics, nothing profound.
>>223615645theres not enough emphasis on the>temporarilypart
I think it's first wave retardism that plays with typical philosophical tropes of being fucking stupid with a hint of politicial flirtation with a waste of your time.
>>223615276Holy ESLJust go to the gym, man, and have sex. Especially in a country of 1.2 Billion people. Get it together.

>>223615276She starts preferring living in the real world with equal opportunity instead of the one sided, pink colored matriarchy. Feminists didn't understand it.

>>223617384Was talking about the fictional real world scenario in the movie, I know it's still rigged and far from perfect IRL. Partly because of feminists having too much influence, only pretending to care about equal rights etc
>>223615459>genuine feminism is not on display at all in the filmGive me the name of a true feminist film. I mean openly feminist, not a popular with everyone movie re-interpreted as feminist after the fact.
>>223615645>Honestly, "it's fine to be single" is a pretty valid moral.Indeed
>>223615778Everyone who honestly commands other people to seek out relationships like this just wants the other person to be as miserable as they are full stop. Just shut the fuck up entirely. Not everyone are like you stupid pieces of shit.

That sounds possible, but why would an adult man watch this?
>>223615276The real lesson is actually a critique of feminism. All the Barbies have fancy jobs, but none of them do anything. It's the illusion of work and a hyper-focus on optics in a style over substance sense. Like the Barbie road workers pounding air with their fake jackhammes. They have the look, but that's about it. The land of the Barbie is a land of stagnation. Both intellectually and physically. A soulless place where nothing ever happens, where nothing is ever said. Their degrees, their awards, their looks? All performative. Nothing means anything. Right up until the Kens, having been spiritually castrated by the matriarchy, discover their own agency and start manifesting destiny. They build stuff, they say things. Consequently they realize the illusion of female empowerment. The Barbie can't do anything. There's no threat, no agency, just talk. The social hierarchy gets turned upside down and the Barbies are subjugated by their own incompetence to do anything about it. Meanwhile said subjugation, being kind of a mirage as well, is actually what provides Barbie Prime with a sense of meaning. To go out and do stuff, rather than just existing in some perpetual beach party fantasy. But the eternal beach party is essentially just a reflection of the female mind itself, reducing life to social dynamics and a quest for imaginary status as means in iteself. Thus Barbie Prime ventures forth into real world and makes friends with a mother and her teenage daughter. Both are also trying to discover who they really are, in the face of meaninglessness. One is blooming, the other is withering. None of their degrees mean anything. It's a dead end. They're just living a perfomative livestyle with fake degree doing fake jobs but they're unhappy. The only meaning they derive comes from the friction between the masculin and the feminine. Meanwhile their inability to actual to things is what's subjugated them, but instead of facing it headon they flee into fantasy land.
