Love this movie. My neighbor experienced a break in. They had psycho clown masks, obvious stupid kids. Neighbor shot them. One in his living room, the other by the door trying to get out and the last one in the driveway. He took photos after everything. The one by the door had his arm blown away, it was hanging on by ligaments. The doorway had his entire back banana peeled open. Fucking crazy what a shotgun did. Texas btw.

Barricade yourself in the bathroom and wait till the whole thing blows over. Daylight would make them disappear for fear of being noticed and iirc in the film they have several people who would notice their absence after a day or two.

In DC there have been several break-ins by young teens that simply ask the home owners to wait in the bathroom while they look for jewelry and phones. A recent one involved a lady who was actually asked politely by the burglars to unlock her phone so they could delete the Ring camera footage. In those instances I’d simply grab a kitchen knife and go on a stabbing spree because more likely than not the gun either doesn’t actually exist or is unloaded, or worst of all the kids have never actually used it and would be terrible shots from a distance.
