Even the first season was dogshit. Just an absolute mess. it was nearly incomprehensible with all of the time skips, random characters and lore that are just introduced out of nowhere. The show didnt know if it wanted to be episodic like xena or overarching like GOT so it tried to do both and the result was a complete shitshow. Along with all of the blackies and brownies that the show really did not need. Straight up 3/10 brought up only by cavill.

Anyway, it's much worse with the writer's original story arc about the pylons that goes fucking nowhere too. And the sheboon that plays fringilla is absolutely painful to look at.
