Kind of a shitty boring movie up until the end I wanted aliens not 90% of the movie to be the same "we running from da feds" shit that's been done a billion times already
only interesting parts were the fed scientist guy astral projection scenes.
>>223752807all the "technology" just seemed to be there for plot convenance >feds use alien tech to discover the location of the protags>feds arrive and surround protags>Emily Blunt goes "your wife wants salmon for dinner" and every single fed just lets them leave because... empathy?>repeat until the end of the movie
Another boring flop from Senileberg
>>223752735It's a prequel to Minority Report.
They needed to remove the filler and basically make the plot of the film into Act 1 - two protags meet telepathically and release the footage to the world. Then Act 2 and Act 3 could have been about the consequences of that decision. Does it stop the pending war or create a bigger conflict? Is Colin Firth right that society isn't ready to know about this? It's like if Act 1 and Act 2 of ET were just Elliott being nervous that something weird is in his closet, and then in the last 15 minutes he meets ET and they fly away on bicycles together
