worth a rewatch in 2026 ?
>>
If you're fine with it ending just as it's getting really good

yes
>>
Lena Headey was hot in this show
>>
I really liked it. Should have gotten more seasons.
>>
Sure. It's the same show, it's just as good as it was when it came out.

>>223753978
I'm still reeling from that Derek headshot decades later, ngl.
>>
>>223753960
>main character gets casually shot in the head and dies out of nowhere and is barely acknowledged
I never got over this
>>
Kinda funny watching it after Person of Interest where they set up 2 rival AIs before the series ended
>>
>>223754244
>>223754259
The whole show should have been like this ngl. How quickly and efficiently Terminators can kill someone once the plot armor is off.
>>
>>223753960
Unfortunately it gets really good during the lead up to the end… and it ends in a cliffhanger.

Also the music was damn good.
>>
>>223753960
Yes
>>
Comfy 2000s vibes.
>>
>>223753960
Are lady terminators anatomically correct? Haha
>>
Its frustrating because every episode is like Russian roulette with 3 rounds in the chamber. You are either getting an amazing character driven drama or CW teen show and you don't know which. Its like there was two different writing teams

No. John is flamingly gay, he and Sarah never get it on despite the weird tension, and the robot girl is a nothing burger. Shirley Manson as the villain of season 2 is the only thing worth watching it for.
>>
>>223754244
It was great even though I hated to see my boy BAG go. He was great in this show, I had never taken him seriously but he has talent.
>>
>>223755415
I thought they fucked IRL but it was the nip tuck degenerates
>>
The asian chipmunk slut needs her cunt bashed in and turned out as a contest between mr ellison and cromarty, like a sexual john henry situation
>>

Friendly reminder:
The first season is an excellent follow up to T2 and a better sequel than T3.
The second season is total ass and the show deserved to get cancelled for it.

Flat, with a cottage cheese-esque texture.

In the FBI file, Sarah Connor is 33 and John Connor's age is given as 15. If the files are correct, Sarah was probably only 17 (or at best, barely 18 and at worst, 16 going on 17), when she conceived John with Kyle Reese.

fucking wild man

That's them counting from 1991, not realizing T2 is set in 1995.

I rewatched it this summer; It’s great TV and holds up.

The effects can be a bit dodgy, but you get used to them. Cromartie is easily the best terminator in the franchise, nigga is so fun. The Andy Goode plot and twist is unironically one of the GOAT time travel stories because of how hard it hits the audience: Andy Goode was a Cyberdyne employee who’s name was found by Sarah Connor on a target list in a safe house full of dead resistance fighters from the future. Sarah inserts herself into Andy’s life and finds out he’s created a chess program that will be used as a predecessor to Skynet. But Andy is a good guy and Sarah feels bad about the idea of having to kill him and even we, The Audience, like Andy. But then Andy gets unceremoniously executed in the street by a resistance fighter, later revealed to be Kyle Reese’ older brother Derek. At first we don’t like Derek because he’s abrasive and he murdered Andy Goode, who we did like. But then they do the Derek flashback episode which reveals that Andy Goode was Derek’s best friend during the future war and Derek was sent back in time by Future Andy to kill Past Andy before he can make Skynet. It’s a hell of a reveal, heavily because of how it plays with the audience emotions towards characters. It makes you start off hating Derek only to eventually forgive him. His monologue in S2 after his girlfriend travels back in time from a new future where Andy Goode never existed is also goated.

I rewatched it earlier this year and really enjoyed it, so I'd say yeah.

Skynet being able to send back as many terminators as it wants was always retarded

Cameron mentions she's from 2027 which is only 2 months away.

Yessir.

>>223755499
Yeah, as someone who only knew him from 90210 I couldn't believe how great he was in the role
>>
One of my favourite shows, but the whole Jesse/Riley arc was tiresome as fuck.
>>
>>223759239
Why? Logically there’s no reason it can’t, outside of not wanting to effect the timeline too much for fear of altering it being created.
>>
>>223762329
Don't forget their pointless annoying pregnant neighbor.
>>
>>223758144
The monologue I liked the most was when John confronts the girlfriend.

Because holy shit after a lot of pretending and hiding who he is, in that scene I honestly felt like I was looking at John Connor.

I think the "Terminator of the Week" aspect of it is pretty interesting in terms of a rewatch, although admittedly it's not something that was ever going to have much longevity as the series was airing. But, stuff like how one week they have to stop the terminator who hoards colton during the nuclear war, or how they need to stop the terminator who invents AI through traffic control software was interseting. I thought it was an interesting way to deal with how judgment day is inevitable and you're destined to always just keep chasing down little ripples here and there.

When I rewatch, I get the feeling that they pivoted to the Shirley Manson T-1000 thing a little too quick. That honestly wasn't that compelling of a storyline to me, and I felt like it sort of hijacked attention from the main cast. We had also already seen the T-800+T-1000 dymanic before in the movie.

Dean Winters carries a lot of moments on the show. If another actor played his role, his part would have just been an annoying, sappy romantic subplot that no one cared about.
>>
Take off those nostalgia glasses. It wasn't a good show. Just because it was improving towards the end doesn't retroactively make everything before that somehow better.
>>
>>223762329
I never really watched a lot of network TV, so maybe there are tons of characters like her, but I thought she was one of the most annoying characters I've ever seen. She had one expression, and the only emotion she could convey was le kickass female.

Her scenes with Riley were such a snooze.

It's worth watching because you may think shapeshifting liquid metal robot pussy is good, but it really isn't, it'll just drip and get stuck inside your urethra and it'll feel like passing a kidney stone. Instead you should go with a T900 model which is living tissue over hyperalloy combat chassis. The Terminator synthetic living tissue is both fast regenerative, perfectly mimics human physiology and is made of organic matter. But its established the blood isn't real blood, no red blood cells, so they cut corners when it's not feasible or necessary. So the terminator vagina has to look like the real thing, have fake fluids to simulate real ones, and even grow back if it is destroyed.

That's kinda crazy when you think about it, that mean between the interior labia are things like the hymen, a fake urinal tract, and even a fake nub of flesh called the clitoris. But no smegma? And she doesn't have a period either. Meaning it's always clean, but looks exactly like the way a real tight little pussy should, with little goosebumps on the exterior labia and it is even contracted by the cybernetic muscle mechanisms. And if the clitoris is rubbed the cyborg must be aware and has sensors to enable a simulated response. There is even a butthole right behind the vagina, a butthole that leads absolutely nowhere.

That's crazy bros. It's like living tissue but it's on a hyper alloy chassis. And there's a vagina right between her legs. She has synthetic vagina with synthetic labia and synthetic hymen and synthetic clitoris and synthetic urinal tract AND a synthetic butthole. It's weird because there is a metal endoskeleton hyperalloy combat chassis inside, and you can even see it if you open the vagina. And if you accidentally rip it open, that's okay, it regenerates from all the pancakes she consumes. Fucking unreal.

Oh, yeah, that’s the same episode as Derek’s monologue and it’s a great moment for John where we start to really see John Connor, Leader of the Human Resistance.
