'Just Chatting' twitch streams with text-to-speech donations enabled with the woman streamer coyly reacting to them in order to goad people to post more unhinged stuff
I've never watched livestreams but I've always liked those old radio shows where a disc jockey would stay up late playing music, telling stories, and receiving callers that talk with them.I guess twitch streamers are the modern equivalent of that but it's not the same when they just do their own thing occasionally responding to some text in chat.Basically I'm looking for a modern equivalent to coast 2 coast am or Deb of Night from VtMB, but I guess that stuff no longer exists.
We're gonna have to wait 20 years for someone to upload the archives of some streamer who captures the same magic as Rawtime.
I wish Deb of Night was real. Why hasn't anyone tried to replicate Deb of Night irl?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLp6vQ6_yKU
>>223846078>SHE WAS ONLY THE AGE OF CONSENT IN THE MAJORITY OF THE USA AND WESTERN WORLD YOU SICK FUCK!

>>223847761Because you haven't listened to radio in your entire zoomer life?
>>223849199What you're saying is that 16yos should be allowed to be prostitutes and do porn.Old enough to fuck, old enough to get paid to fuck.Someone put a stop to this practice 90 years ago in a certain country.
>>223846281The opening of the show features>Eminem>Everlast>Add N to (X)>Shania Twain>Britney Spears>Garbage>Geri Halliwell>Placebo>Spice Girls>Tori Amos>Jewel>No Doubt
>>223847385Would see a small livestream show hosted by a woman who is an art bell fan and went for that feeling, but its been on hiatus since she gave birth. Don't think it works with a mom as the host.
>>223847385>I guess twitch streamers are the modern equivalent of thatthey are notTwitch streamers do not provide anything other than a chatroom for losers to talk to each other while they sit on their ass doing nothing but watching videos or playing a shitty game

>>223849430not that anon but radio's been dead for decades, zoomers might have heard something as a baby.

>>223850593you can flip to AM and get the gospel discussion, FM has an NPR and commercials-only stations
>>223844748Girls livestreaming on shit like tiktok. There are teenagers on there just streaming and talking to anyone. No matter how many times I select I DO NOT WANT ANY LIVE FEEDS it throws you random shit.

90's public access in Austin genuinely looked kino
>>223844748chaturbate
>>223851171>performativeYou say that like it's a bad thing. I'm not into these new fangled virtual tubers, but they're not pretending to be real, that's what the cartoon avatars are there for. It's like criticizing Arnold Schwarzenegger because his Conan role was performative. Like no shit, buttmunch, he was performing a role, exactly as he was hired to, and exactly as everyone wants him to.

>>223847761I was thinking about having AI generate a few episodes and then clone the voice to make my own podcast of it. Just grab a random bunch for my commute.
>>223849430We're not talking about generic radio, yes I'm old enough to have experienced the tail end of it.You can still find that sort of scripted radio on satellite radio, podcasts, OTR recordings, etc. Some podcasts even still receive and replay recordings of listener voice messages or "call ins" or take in listener emails and reads/responds to them. Some of the early podcasts did this like season 1 of Mysterious Universe, an Australian paranormal podcast. We're talking about all this happening LIVE. As in LIVE callers into LIVE broadcast shows, and specifically late night ones in the witching hour where the host talks about topical cultural thing or news happening right now or recently happened, unscripted, uncensored (maybe at most a 10 second delay?), and callers call in to give their two cents. Basically a 4chan like forum but in audio form, and 4chan is already the last of its kind in terms of open forums. And now with robocallers and AI voices we'll never have that.Where I am the only radio channels only receive calls for song requests.Alan Wake also had comfy live radio segments.
