Hell on Earth
>>223848788>>223848805
>>223848805yeah
>>223848805>pictured: harperfag
>>223848788I approved of this thread
>>223848810This grid would lead one to believe that it's just about two girls being gay and Pinhead isn't even in it
>>223848838Would you fugg a wax?
>>223848843If only, brother. If only.
Are we excited for First Communion, Conjuringbros?
>>223848837Seethe.
>>223848788
>he watches movies with subtitles on
>>223848871I couldn’t even bother finishing the last conjuring movie that came out. It started with a car chase. It’s basically marvelslop now
>>223848788Anyone seen this? I'm thinking of giving it a go soon
>>223848881No one likes you here fyi
>>223848932It definitely feels like the lasp gasp of that style of italian horror. Dreamy plot, kino practical effects, questionable little girl content. May as well check it out.
GET IN MAH BELLAAAAY
Taking into consideration both quality and quantity, what horror movies have the best nudity?
>>223848974stop talking to yourself pissjeet, your meta whining has nothing to do with horror films
I love pagankino and Raph Ineson, but even that couldn't save this movie from being mid af. The OST is nice though, but goddamn the third act is abysmal.
didn't know a third of these were King, didn't know another third even exists and I'm pretty active wth
>>223848987
>>223849024I remember it being boring but the lead woman was a real mommy
>>223848998What meta?
>>223849033>didn't know a third of these were KingYou sound pretty silly. Here's some more.
>>223848974Tell 'em Fixbro!!!
Tell me somebody's carved a pumpkin by now.God, Christ-- tell me there's a jack-o-lantern on some Anon's porch...
Is there any difference in movies influenced by Lovecraft vs movies influenced by Thomas Ligotti? If I wanted the latter is there something specific I should check out or just stick to Lovecraft for the same basic experience?
>>223849056why would you carve them now?they'll be rotten by the 23th
>>223849033>>223849049Impossible horror challenge:Name 10 good horror mini series that aren't Stephen King
>>223848993Variety matters too.Like you could say Lifeforce, but it's one really hot chick being topless a lot. Also general hornyness. Like Night of the Demons has a bunch of panty shots as well as topless scenes.I think Sorority House Massacre II may take it either way.
>>223849057There aren't really things inspired by Ligotti.People will say True Detective Season 1 but that's surface level nihilism.
>>223848838Not one of his best, but kino nonetheless
>>223849057you keep asking this questionit's like asking "what are some movies starring my next door neighbor?"there aren't any
>>223849079True Detective yeah but that uses his non fiction philosophy stuff like Conspiracy Against the Human Race more so than his regular horror stories
>>223849066Then you carve another
Watching Prom Night (2008)Pretty lame
>>223849100>'s like asking "what are some movies starring my next door neighbor?">there aren't anyNot so fast there bucko
100<100 #021it's Mawsthe end credits are 15 minutes longthere's a scene where Maws has a flashback to his own birth, and sees a tunnel of light with an Egyptian pharaoh statue in it, a big swastika, and a stargate with a viking(?) standing in front of it
>>223849149the main character and the monster are played by the same guy, so they can't be in any shots together, even when they're fighting
>>223849156
>>223849193Sometimes people wonder if drugs were involved in making a film, but this is more like drug money was the reason the film was made
>>223849146This movie was good
>>223849149>>223849156>>223849193Keep up the good fight, Anon. You're watching the shit none of us will ever bother with and giving us enough of the goods to satisfy any curiosity
>>223849234I'm off work this Thursday and Friday just so I can cram in more shitty movies, and my boss knows it's why I'm taking off :)
>>223849252shit I meant to post the trailerhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSx1q4nmgWA
> critic Gene Siskel hated the original Friday the 13th so much that he not only spoiled the films ending in his review but published the addresses of both the head of Paramount and Betsy Palmer so people could write hate mail to them
>>223849252Nice. I've got a few more days of work until I go full 'Weentard and have off the whole week of Halloween off + 2 days into November to bask and recover
>>223849339that nigga died from cancer or whatever at 53 and Ebert was a living puppet by the time he died, so who's laughing now
>>223849339You can tell he was still mad about Last House on the Left when he saw it
>>223849339>>223849370Why did they hate horror movies so much? Ebert hated The Thing too.
>>223849339what a FUCKING asshole, fucking christ>>223849407I think both ultimately felt that the purpose of art was to be life-affirming, which is a pretty restrictive attitude
>>223849407pussy anti-war boomer mentality also I don't know that much about gene siskel, but ebert was a failed screenwriter and likely resented people who blundered into massive success with shit scripts like most of the slasher creators did
alright despite their teases, Slayground is coming out in theaters next year
>>223849465Rebel Ridge was underwhelming but Saulnier gets enough goodwill from Blue Ruin and Green Room that I will watch this
>>223849149>>223849156kek
>>223849465Saulnier was another guy who had a lot of upward moment and then seemed to lose hype, so I'm always rooting for him
>>223849465Grok, I wanna see a hand erase a small single digit number and then draw that zero like on da simpsons
>>223849599probably because Hold the Dark was so boring. but yeah like the other anon, I thought Blue Ruin and Green Room were kino
>>223849149The prophecy fulfilled at last...>>223849156But at what cost?
>>223849659kek
>>223849659
>>223849652looks neat, Ill check it out
