Yeah That happened
Cgi looked terrible so I didn't watch it

Fun movie. Wish they spent more on the CGI but it was enjoyable. The last 30 minutes flips the script from the other perspective. Something some people dont seem to like. But overall I really enjoyed it.
>>223883875? Nigga this is a Korean movie
>>22388383310/10 movie with several paradigm shifts and a bonafide korean baddie with a potty mouth
>>223883833Best movie of the year.
>>223883833What was going through Fassbender's mind when he and his wife agreed to star as CGI ayylmao from Gantz in a Korean movie
>>223884166Huh? It was written and (later) directed by Na Hong-jin. What do you think was going through their minds? They're both part of one of the coolest movies ever made now.
>>223884198Anon it was like they ran out of money to give it a proper ending so he just ran with the footage they got and it ended up being amateurish overall lol. The Chaser and The Wailing didn't have these issues at all
>>223884298No. Are you that illiterate? The structure makes perfect sense. The only thing that was slightly unfinished was some of the CGI during the highway chase scene.
>>223884370they're brainlets that got filtered
All the people calling movie good/decent has to be gook or marketer. it was mid, okay. "Monsters" had super human ability early then got giga nerf mid-late movie, in open field as well which is where they should have an easier time killing the humans. Guns that barely do any damage in early movie suddenly can hurt them late movie. Human that should have died multiple times lives.. Even the last guy that was hit by a road sign near the end of the movie is alive at credit.
>>223884298>The Chaser and The Wailing didn't have these issues at allAll his movies end with brutal consequences. The Chaser kicks you in the gut with the extremely frustrating way the prostitute ends up back with the killer, The Yellow Sea's ending completely reframes all that has happened before, and The Wailing is also quite harsh in its explanation of why things have happened the way they did and what the protagonist makes of that.
>>223884439Hope, unironically, ends on a more hopeful note where there is still time for reconciliation even with all earlier attempts of communication having bitterly failed, but it also lands a blow having the hunter's face smashed while he's ecstatically celebrating his presumed successful kill.
>>223884519The Hunter lived btw
>>223883890useless post. doubt its even human
why dont japan and korea make fun movies anymore
>>223885273they try too hard to appeal to foreign markets instead of focusing on their own like they used to
>>223883833>Yeah That happenedI wish it hadnt
>>223885042How did he and the cop casually walk off getting ragdolled pretty bad by the alium the first time? Also why did a big brain space faring race react so retardedly to the humans who we clearly see didnt pose a lethal threat? So many stuff that tests suspension of disbelief to its limits. Is this a thing that the director is known for?

>>223883833I don't understand how this movie made it to theaters. There isn't even a story or message in this movie and it's almost 3 hours long.
