Why is the existence of this movie so oddly nebulous? It comes out in a month and seemingly not even professional film critics have seen it.

Can we cancel him? No memes, no sneed.

I would never say this for a regular celeb crash-out e.g. drug outburst, random fight, offensive comment etc but smacking/choking your wife and kids is just so fucking bad. Surely there are a lot of people here who had dogshit childhoods and can relate.

Cliff was the best part of the first movie but that was in contrast to what-was-his-name played by Leo which was a whatever character arc. If it's just Cliff being cool for a whole movie it won't be the same.

star actor
in a role that was popular and well liked
in a movie that did well mainly due to the charisma of the 2 male leads
Hollywood probably figures it's pretty safe. the most expensive part, beyond Brad's salary, is probably just the cars and costumes and it's only the 60/70s so it's not like a super expensive period piece like something set earlier

>>223907972
Imagine coming home to this. A bunch of strangers and your actual kids trooned out. Literally can't recognize anyone. He was an absent father, sure, but unlike most absent fathers he actually has a decent reason to avoid home. It was just a matter of time until he blew up.

Genetics are so weird. Two hot people don’t always make hot kids.
>>
>>223907891
What´s with this generation being completely unable to accept endings? Everything is a sequel, a remake or needs a serialized spin off and to keep on going... stories are meant to end people! You are meant to learn something from them and then move on.
>>
>>223908075

>>
>>223908135
Actually three of them are biologically his. They’re just kind of odd looking.
>>
>>223908075
Jolie was odd looking. She's pretty but in a unique way--her features work well with one another but in the wrong combination they're creepy (and even Jolie looks a little creepy herself).

It works out most of the time. A lot of attractive traits are recessive so when two good looking people reproduce you get them again.
>>

Obviously but people has to actually participate and consume the products for that to work. I believe Once upon a time in Hollywood is Tarantino´s best movie, maybe tied with Pulp Fiction but i wouldn´t watch this. Not the only one either, i like Alien, Blade Runner or LOTR but don´t go around watching Alien Earth, Amazon BR slop or RoPe. I´m a fan of every single one of those Disney renaissance animated movies (Aladdin, Beauty and the beast, Hercules) but i don´t go around watching live action remakes either. Point being people have to willingly participate for that business model to work, they have the option to let go... they just don´t.

She was always marked, bring the daughter of Hollywood stars.
> Jolie had a serious boyfriend for two years from the age of 14. Her mother allowed them to live together in her home.
Her choice was either sacrifice her children to the cult or be sacrificed herself. She did still have to slice off her boobs as a half sacrifice. Reminder she did this BEFORE cancer was detected, btw she didn’t just get normal implants, she also got a boob tissue transplant from …someone. She also had her overies removed, which called premature menopause and takes giggle pills for life.

I quite like the idea of a new story with Cliff as a fixer in a more gritty 70s LA
Problem is the trailers make it look so dull, dreary and lifeless. Fincher's washed out aesthetic seems like a total mismatch and not in an interesting way
Also if Tarantino wrote him as "book Cliff" this is gonna be really shit
>>

>>223910395
Fincher hasn’t made a good movie since the social network and even that was redundant and recycling his past work but just under a sorkin filter
>>
>>223907891
I'mn quite excited, truth be told. OUaT in Hollywood could have been kino if Tarantino knew how to calm down his retardation. Cliff was a kino character and hopefully Fincher will be able to reel in Tarantino's retarded creative choices.

That movie sucked. Gone Girl was when he started going downhill. Mank was when he started making obviously bad decisions. The Killer was forgettable and almost seemed like a director for hire feature because it was so bland. Go figure he's directing a sequel to another directs movie as a follow-up.

Have you watched a Fincher movie in the last decade? He's Ridley Scott levels of washed up
>>
>>223911409
Fincher has never "gone downhill" because he was always extremely hit or miss. He could nonchalantly go from classics to complete shit like The Game or Benjamin Button. He doesn't seem too concerned about the quality of his scripts and that's his biggest weakness.

>who asked for this?
Hello Mr. Hollywood Studio Boss,Kate here from BS Consulting. We’ve wrapped the analytics on your previous Cliff Booth outing and the data is unambiguous: a statistically concerning number of people shared stills, gifs, and reaction images of Brad Pitt being mildly competent and emotionally unavailable. See Fig. B for the likes, comments, and “he’s so fine” thumbnails across 36 platforms. The engagement was not high, but it was persistent, which our proprietary algorithm treats as a demand signal.A further Cliff Booth project therefore scores extremely low on creative risk, moderate on residual brand recognition, and acceptably high on “we can pretend this was always planned.” It also lets us reframe a one-off as the start of a franchise, which is the only growth story left that still moves the stock. Our models currently forecast a $0.014 share price increase—enough, on paper, to put your quarterly bonus target within reach if nobody asks too many questions.Nobody asked for this. That’s the point. We simply noticed that not asking has never stopped us before.

Its the only way the majority of his movies make sense, in terms of creative drive. Why else would they all basically be the same thing

This is normal procedure, though. Women who have a genetic predisposition for breast cancer and are too old to have children, so they dont have to worry about feeding them, get masectomies.

Angelinas mom is unironically one of the most perfect looking women I have ever seen. Her dauther though was never attractive to me. It's clear from the skull shape and her famous lips that he inherited most of her features from Jon Voight, this is especially eery if you look at pictures of when he was young, she's basically a tranny version of him with her mother's eyes.
Really fucking overrated, shame her mom died relatively young.

I feel like this movie was made for all the wrong reasons:

- Netflix wants to be seen as a legit player in the movie industry
- Netflix is trying to be seen as less woke
- Tarantino being out of ideas for his big "last movie" statement
- Fincher's last 2 movie were rather terrible, so he desperately needs a big hit, even though the Cliff Booth movie will be nothing like Fincher's signature psychological thriller vibes
