cumberbatch is dogshit in every movie. I never get the impression that he's a real actor who sinks into a role. he's always just benedict cumberbatch who's doing a play. its always goofy seeing him on screen.
the only thing he can do convincingly is dr strange because he's also a smug asshole in real life so he doesnt even have to act.

Literally who cares? Every possible quality of life and standard of living metric is decreasing but at least we took back control amirite guys. Even though we just do what the US wants us to anyway. Fucking retards. It's not 1850 anymore, a country the size of the UK by itself does not have national sovereignty, you have to be somebody's bitch. Better the EU than the Jewnited States of Muttmerica
>>
>>223910275
It's just establishment propaganda. Most people didn't care either way before the vote, then all the most insufferable liberal types became super Europhiles overnight and seemed to actively relish in the EU humiliating the UK during the negotiations (as if it wasn't ultimately a foreign entity).

If you read Orwell he described those types of self-hating leftists very well almost a century ago (when they gave their support to the USSR and, bizarrely, even Nazi Germany for a while). Britain has a particularly big problem with them

the times of the british empire are dead, you cant pretend you're still calling the shots anymore.
and if you HAVE to be part of some community and power block, its better to be with your immediate neighbors, the french and germans, whose interests largely align with yours, than some 3000 miles away america thats just an unreliably ally because they have their own agenda.

I'm glad Brexit happened because it killed literally every other "leave EU" movement on europe.

even the most radical political parties in france, germany and italy changed their tune to "reform EU" when they saw what a massive shitshow it was. and I'm glad it only affected britain, which we can live without.
germany leaving the EU first would've done much more permanent damage, but now they're even more firmly in the pro EU camp, even parties like the AFD have seen the writing on the wall that the EU is necessary

the illusion of choice.
the vast majority of foreign trade is still done with EU countries, so now britain still has to comply with their market regulations if they want to sell their stuff but they have zero voice or leverage because they arent part of the process anymore.
it was a major blunder from every perspective. none of the proposed benefits manifested, everything bad that remainers said was gonna happen, happened.
the fact that there's 50 miles of water between britain and continental europe does not matter
>>
>>223910312
>yes just let unelected European bureaucrats living in countries that are considerably worse off in terms of quality of life make decisions that directly impact your life and its economy

politics is horse shit anyway. democracy is a lie. democracy is 1 party split into 2 seemingly opposing parties so if one of them pushes too hard the people can take their anger out on voting for the other party instead of just burning it all down.
it also gives people the illusion of choice, of which there is non.
voting just gives them an idea of what the people are thinking and what they need to do to correct them. voting is essentially giving the controllers free marketing information

That means absolutely nothing as long as you're still a relatively wealthy and militarily strong country, which Britain is, otherwise they would never have agreed to give us so many opt-outs in the first place. You've fallen for Euroc-rat propaganda

>it was a major blunder from every perspective. none of the proposed benefits manifested,
I'll be fair here, the Leave campaign lied their heads off about the specific benefits we would receive after leaving, and many of the political figures pushing it were grifter charlatans (BoJo most prominently), but even that doesn't make it an intrinsically bad idea in the long term. Yes, people voted against immigration. "Take control of our borders" was at the forefront of the discussion.
The Tories then took control of our borders, and pulled them wide open, because they're scum who have only contempt for the British working class.
Lessons learned. Never trust the government.
>>
>>223911091
The best part of the whole thing was when Jo Cox was shot (won't get into all of that) and both Remain and Leave agreed not to use her death for political point scoring. Right before Remain used her death for political point scoring.
It's not really much different to the murder of Anne Widdecombe. It was agreed no side would try to use it to push their politics. Right up until every single report on it, especially from the left, emphasised how it was a white male who did it. Being white this also meant he had to be right wing. But it wouldn't make sense for someone right wing to kill a right wing politician. Then they came up with the genius reason that he did that as some kind of Helter Skelter moment to create a race war via false flag. Right up until it turned out he was just a generic two digit IQ Communist so they memoryholed the entire thing.

Do any fellow bongs actually think Nige can be the next PM? When starmner was in i thought he'd probably do it but reform splitting the vote and starmner being kicked imo is going to create some kind of france-like scenario/hellscape where all of the left wing parties are going to band together and block reform and were going to get a quasi-civil war. Also seething right wing talking heads like sargon of cuckard are not helping when it comes to splitting the vooters. I personally align more with restore's poltics but theres no way rupert is winning this shit and there is no realistic way to actually reverse immigration once the pakis are here. Unless reform/restore form a coalition were doomed to be flooded by pakis until the island sinks.

Doubtful, as wild as it sounds Burnham is actually succeeding at winning people back over to Labour, and even to normies Farage comes across as a grifter (partially because of his role in promoting Brexit but doing nothing to influence it in a positive direction). He also is very unlikely to fix the immigration issue. As Peter Hitchens says Reform are a Thatcherite tribute band, not even close to real radicals
>>
>>223911428

There was a real difference before Thatcher, but well... there's a reason Thatcher won in the first place
>>
>>223911446

>>
>>223910114
The EU had an unusually shit year in 2015 and going into 2016 it wasn't getting any better. You can definitely argue against Brexit but anyone not mentioning how bad it looked at the time is being disingenuous
>>
>>223911428
I just don't see a way in which he beats Burnham.
>>
>>223911589
This, I think Lowe is full of shit too but he deserves credit for condemning mass immigration so openly and shifting the overton window so quickly. Normies need to realise it's ok to want shitskin criminals who hate your country deported and that reversing replacement level-immigration is not only possible, not only desirable but a necessity. We essentially need to remove the stigma around admitting that you hate seeing brown faces everywhere in a white/Western country, because it's perfectly natural to feel that way and we don't owe these people a place here
>>
>>223911428
Burnham only looks good right now because nothing has happened since Starmer, the next Southgate, or even the next budget will end his honeymoon period.
I'm with Restore all the way, it makes no difference to me if Reform or Labour win the next election. Besides Restore have had the most successful first year of any political party ever and that could continue, they're already bigger than Reform and the Conservatives in Scotland.
>>
>>223911619
eu countries mostly have the same problems of the uk even today anyway. Lefties love to ignore this and pretend its all brexit's fault.

I have blonde hair, blue eyes and am whiter than you. You are dumb as fuck and incapable of reason. Actual nigger tier. Intelligent people are capable of realising what is feasible and what isn't
>>
>>223911672
Overton window does not matter, I am afraid. Redpilling the normies does not matter. Power is not bottom up. You will see a reversal on immigration but that will be because the system decides it's a net negative, they can pivot with extreme agility in at least that much.
>>
>>223911913
Correct, but if we're being honest with ourselves, the "mass deportations" types don't really give a shit about the difference and just want them all gone.
>>
>>223912006
A fellow Ted K enjoyer?
>>
>>223912034
I mean, only nutters are suggesting we deport Craig Charles and Lewis Hamilton.
>>
>>223911724
But all Downes ever does is basedpost on X to get the base cheering, he doesn't actually have power within the party. It is a boomer thatherite enterprise, it's already been compromised.

I do with it was a case of literally redpilling the normies and you can vote in your revolution but that's not how it works. The British state course correcting on immigration (without ever going back to the England that was) will be because it's too much of a negative as a strain on its resources, lack of competence (it's tied to brain drain), etc. It will not be because of muh based patriots. A million fucking people marched through London over Iraq and what happened? Fuck all is what.
>>
>>223911988
You and your opinions on immigration are worth absolutely nothing to me.

What do you think about that?
>>
>>223911988
>am whiter than you
there are no pure-blooded anglos/saxons in the UK. you're gambling right now
nta btw
>>
>>223912006
>Power is not bottom up.
Ultimately it actually is, there's a reason the elite "target" us with propaganda so much. The Big Lie is that party politics will save us, but that doesn't mean some parties aren't far more harmful than others
>>
>>223912080
>boomer thatherite enterprise
Meaningless phrase, you sound like a dole scrounger.
>>
>>223911988
You are correct, other guy is wrong. The 'radical right' frankly are not ethnnats in the pure ethnostate sense - not even Steve Laws (he was interviewed by a Lotus Eater guy and spelt out that, to him, total remigration of every last non is a negotiation tactic to him). I think only Zoomer is a genuinely 'kill them all' type - most simply want a supermajority and vastly increased living standards and they would be amply satiated with a Britain that clears out the riff raff (legal and illegal) and basically gives whites gibs in the same way blacks browns etc get them
>>
>>223912143
It is but unfortunately the average person is a retard
See: 2020
>>
>>223912170
What am I "wrong" about?

>The 'radical right' frankly are not ethnnats in the pure ethnostate sense
Agreed, I don't want them all gone either. I want people to realise it's ok to be repulsed by the sheer number of brown faces they now see in public, though
>>
>>223912227
>What am I "wrong" about?
He said that mass deportations is a hard sell because so many young whites especially have non friends and he's correct. You have people scared over Reform for fuck's sake because of the electoral pantomime. That is a roadblock if you are banking on a electoral solution.
>>
>>223912006
Power is not top down either. Power is built in to the very structure of society and the system itself (being the technology and the physical/social heirarchy that has been put in to place over the course of x years). Even the most authoritarian leaders such as hitler were actually quite paralysed by the structure beneath them and unable to enact any real radical change. You are correct that there will be no reversal of immigration unless the tehcnological system we live within suddenly decides that immigration is a net-negative to it's existance and perpetuity. Currently immigrants bolster gdp by being bodies thrown to the beast, cheapen labour so companies make money and raise housing prices and therefore help the system continue, quality of life to the average man be damned. Even if lowe got in and tried to deport every last immigrant. He would find himself paralysed by laws, bureaucracy , having to appease the very system below him at every turn and have so much internal resistance that nothing would get done. Hitler actually had to change course on some of his policies because some of his government/generals were against them, in fear that they would rebel. Everybody is a slave to something.
>>
>>223912265
>any real radical change that meaningfully negatively affected the technological system*
>>
>>223912143
But to me it's pantomime. If some hardened Reform or, fuck it, Restore won and you got serious progress i.e. the boat people, the visa scammery, hostile environment, etc. it's because the system and security services are fine with it. You can point to 30's Germany but Hitler was embraced by the conservative elite as a useful puppet before going rogue and you can't exactly replicate what Hitler did in modern Britain

legit 1/10, even 0/10, fails as a movie, just pure fucking nonsense

as someone who isnt a bong i had 0 fucking idea what the fuck is going on and who the fuck are all those has been politicians from 15 years ago

the movie fail to explain what brexit even is
the movie reminds me of that quote "everybody knows what a horse is", showing how a failure to understand that people watching it some years down the line can have 0 idea what brexit even was

i bet politic obsessed leftists from 2016 could understand it, but show it to anybody today? they will not recognize a single fucking person in it
>>
>>223911239
honestly watching the foot dragging after brexit was the clearest example of modern day treason. Not fulfilling the wishes of the voters to the best of their ability because they were upset about the result

>he doesn't actually have power within the party
Downes is literally Lowe's second in command and is the reason Restore exists in the first place. After distancing himself from Reform he reached out to Lowe, and began Restore as a pressure movement before it became a political party. I wouldn't be surprised if Downes writes all his social media posts as well.
Do you really think a tory boomer would have been able to become a social media sensation by himself? Lowe is the front man, Downes is the man flying the ship behind the scenes.
>>
>>223923599
well that was established after Sherlock so... shush
