He wanted to talk to Zen-Oh about a universal tournament, despite being repeatedly warned by both Beerus and Whis that Zen-Oh can easily kill everyone at a whim. Kill you, kill your family, erase your soul so you can't even go to the afterlife, erase your planet, your galaxy and even your entire timeline. Zen-Oh did this already to Future Trunks' timeline, which mans he'll never see his mother again, even in death. Future Bulma is gone forever. Goku admits he's aware of this to Beerus, but brushes it aside to persist anyway with what he wants to doBeerus runs out of patience trying to reason with Goku and threatens to kill him and erase his soul right there on the spot, but Goku still didn't flinch and went ahead to go to talk to Zen-Oh anyway. And when the world ending tournament starts, all the other universes condemn Goku as a monster and the villain, with Goku completely oblivious what their problem is with him

I know Toriyama wanted to set the stage that these are really evil men, but to go that far felt like overkillIn Super, hot girls getting beat into submission was really toned down. There was a scene of Kale getting held up by her ponytail and punched in her stomach repeatedly until she passed out, but the camera goes about it that you can't see her enemy's fist driving into her stomach, just her facial expressions as it happens off-screen, just below the camera's static frame. Goku VS Caulifla had similar camera censorship, where any strikes Goku did land on her were done in a way where you don't see them land cleanlyJapan at some point made it that any anime within a certain age group rating and time slot, can't have any overtly violent depictions of women being hurt. This must not apply to manga though because we see Caulifla and other girls get beat senseless in the Super adaption
