>go to see pic related>nathan fielder's face shows up on screen>half the theater laughs for no reason>nathan fielder says something slightly awkward >half the theater laughs for no reasonthere were like 3-4 legit funny moments in the doc, but the rest of it was pretty serious even though the audience seemed to desperately want this whole thing to be some sort of gutbuster. am i alone in this? like it was just a regular doc with some funny moments like nearly every doc ever made.
>>223915576Not nearly as bad as when I went to go see 28 Years Later and some bitch in my row answered a phonecall during the opening scene.
>>223915576>nathan fielder says something slightly awkwardhe never even said anything awkward at all, it's the most normal i've seen him in his entire career, there were a few extreme closeup to actuate awk but it was almost never him
for me it's that half the theater is obnoxious niggers and the place is trashed afterward. this in a city that's 80% white btw. they travel around in packs to ruin everything fun
Yeah just saw it. Peanut Gallery kept laughing at everything but that's also because Nathan randomly includes such awkward scenes in the film like when he keeps a face zoomed in after the dialogue is ended with the obnoxious violin music or when he included the scene of the husband showering with the shot centered on his dick for some random reason (seriously, what did that scene even add, and how did the husband even agree to that given how obsessed he is with their image?), then it just ends with him creepily filming him from the other side, like you can't help but laugh at that.He also has some deadpan ass responses to some questions: "that must really be hard" when Elizabeth is talking about losing her family. What also bothered me a bit was when the audience thought they were some detectives going audibly "what?" and "oh my god!" at every scene in the second act when Amanda shows up for the reenactments.
>>223916708>what did that addit shows to what lengths they were willing to "expose" themselves in an attempt to seem transparent and truthfulit's literally to a comical degree
abloobloo
>>223915576I’m not American, what is this about and why are people shilling for it so hard on here? Obsession, digger and now this
>>223916915People see movies and want to talk about them. Stop saying dumb shit Americans say if you’re not American. That’s really embarrassing for you.
>>223915576Shes so fucking cute omg
>>223915576Stay the fuck home then. Watching with other people is the point of the theater. It’s like going to a restaurant and getting upset that other people are eating nearby.
When I saw one of the lord of the rings movies in theaters as a kid some fat guy sat next to me and he was so fat that his side roll covered my drink and I was too embarrassed to ask him to move his hock so I could get my drink so I just went the whole movie without it. I had to eat less popcorn too so I wouldn't get too thirsty.
>>223916708>seriously, what did that scene even add, and how did the husband even agree to that given how obsessed he is with their image? It answered the question of why she’s into him and preempted assertions that he’s a small penised chud.
>>223917561Str8 up bless you fren
>>223915940white people are by far some of the worst offenders of stupid shit in theaters
>>223917400>american hours
>>223915576I just got back from the local theater. It’s not worth going out to see it. Just wait for it to come out on Max like his other show The Rehearsal
>>223915576so dont
>>223916973>Shes so fucking cute omgshe's cute from the right angle. basically you have to be looking at her straight on. anything else and she looks like a goblin. everyone that films her is in on it. they want her to look as good as possible because then it's easier to hate her.
>>223915576For some movies watching with a crowd enhances the experience, definitely not documentaries though. There was some obese middle aged couple crunching on snacks and talking during the entire fucking movie when I went to see this, it was torturous. For the street fighter movie the crowd made it a more fun experience however
>>223916915>why are people discussing provocative newly released movies on a tv/movie image board?should you kill yourself for being stupid?
>>223915576I've never had anyone laugh inappropriately or interrupt a movie like this. I almost never go to the theater and don't see normie shit but still, where do you people live where everyone acts like animals?
If i don't think Nathan Fielder is hilarious just weird and mildly amusing occasionally, and I already know about Elizabeth Holmes and theranos should I watch this?
>>223919451yesit's not a comedy and it's not really about theranos
>>223915576
I appreciated my crowd for laughing at the deliverance of the dad saying she was raped
>>223919451it's way overhyped but still an interesting doc. literally the last movie i saw in theaters was parasite. only reason i went see this doc is because i bought in to the hype and didn't want to wait for it to show up on one of my free streaming sites. there was a point in the doc where there was a chance for an absolutely insane turn but they didn't go that route. at one point the actress suggests breaking up elizabeth and the husband and if they tried to do that the doc would have been absolutely diabolical
>>223915576Why would you see an extended Nathan for You episode in a theater? Why would you see a documentary in a theater? Do you feel the need to be a part of the current twitter conversation?
Nathan was the real sociopath the entire time. They seemed like humble people just trying to get through a tough life.
>>223915576>went to see JUDEN production because JUDEN is good and JEEZUS bless Israel and No King's Parade!
>>223915576I went to see pic related at a small hipster theater (the only place that was showing it) that was full of college-aged kids and they laughed histerically at every single thing Nic Cage did on screen because I guess he's just a walking meme to that generationCompletely ruined the movie for me
>>223917561hell yeah thank you man
