In high school I was gonna throw a small party while my parents were out of town
Some how word got out and these literal 10/10 stacies and random kids in general would come up to me and ask me about the party
I felt so fucking cool, until my parents changed their mind and didn't go out of town and everyone hated me for like 3 weeks

That's the most dramatic post I've read all year.

I was actually something of a quirky handsome alternative alpha in high school I was actually turning down party invitations. No lie. Nawmsayin?
>>
>get invited to party
>say I'll go if there's no blacks
>go to party
>there's blacks
>turn 360 degrees and walk away
>hear next day that there was a fight, stuff was stolen, someone was raped/sexually assaulted, cops called

>get invited to party
>say I'll go if there's no blacks
>go to party
>no blacks
>have fun
>a few girls pretending to drink, but actually pouring beer into lawn
>accidentally walk in on host's dad banging young sluts

Knowing about parties is really easy if you were part of any sports team(except tennis and chess kek) or at least friends with someone on the team.

Getting invited is easy if people know you are known for bringing alcohol and weed, and in general know for being fun. You don't get invited as often if you're known for selling scary big boy drugs, but idk what kids consider scary now a days. Apparently GenZ/A don't drink as much.

>10/10 stacies and random kids in general would come up to me and ask me about the party
At least they were nice enough to ask you instead of planning to crash the party. They hated you for 3 weeks because some of them bought party supplies they had to hide from their parents until they could use at another party.
>>
Did parties used to be like this?
>>
>>223920526
Much tamer and the cops usually get called by the neighbors before it gets crazy
>>
>>223920526
There was a point where you could find parties on social media and there would be pretty large ragers
>>
>>223919057
Are these red plastic cups really as ubiquitous at parties in America as movies would have us believe?
>>
>>223922031
They were when i was young. Lots of beer pong.
>>
What was fun about large house parties like these? Please tell me. I have been to many. These were all overcrowded and boring. Crazy that anyone on this site misses Normieville.

Sex? Drugs? Friends?
>>
>>223922180
All of these things sucked in these environments. Drugs and friends were better in small groups. Sex is better with someone you love instead of some whore

>Sex is better with someone you love instead of some whore
This is domething you exoect hormonal immature kids to know and act on? Anyone without stunted social growth was at least trying to talk to women.

Smoking with the stoners outside was akways fun. Especially if ryan brought the gas mask.

still a whore though

I agree completely that it's a depressing movie, but not for the reasons you state
the message is essentially for millions of young people, high school is the peak of your life and moments like this will never come again, and it's true. like when thomas nearly hooked up with alexis, that was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. it perfectly encapsulates the party rock era, that whole "party like it's the last night of your life because it essentially is".
very sad movie
