Great picks.
>>
I kinda really like the North Korean turned Aryan from DAD personally. All his fights against Bond were kino.
>>
>>223924018
Stromberg was based. A shame that many of his scenes got cut.
>>
>>223924018
I like Stromberg just for how insane he is, which is played interestingly in how Bond fully expects him to want a ransom as opposed to Stromberg actually being a lunatic who wants to destroy life on land and rebuild civilisation under the ocean. Sanchez is also far better than what in the abstract sounds like a generic drug lord. Sanchez benefits from his genuine loyalty is more important than money attitude, the mental unravelling due to Bond's manipulation, the performance of the actor, and some great lines. "Remember, you're only president... for life. is such a great life." is probably my favourite line of Sanchez.

The fake news plot line was genius, way ahead of its time.

>>
>>223925877
It's not ahead of its time, fake news has existed for millennia, the ancient pharaaohs used fake news to manipulate the lower classes, Hearst was designing wars a hundred years before Carver. It's not not new, or ambitious, or whatever other bullshit praise there is for his character. He's just another retarded megalomaniac

There are dozens of professions where being evil is the norm, and yet only a few get the selective Hollywood bad guy treatment. Why is this?

Drax. Best there ever was or will be.

I always liked Carver. Even as a kid, I never thought the criticisms of his plan being ridiculous and unbelievable were justified, especially in the Bond franchise where far, far more insane shit has taken place. As many in this thread have said, Pryce's Carver has aged exceptionally well. I guess people had more faith in the media back then.
>>
>>223927494
he was criticised because he targets j*urnalists and they didn't like being mocked
>>
>>223925688
Me on the right
>>
>>223924018
Carver is good but owes his awesomeness to Jonathan Prices hammy performance.

Also GI Joe 2 is worth it just to see Price be a villain again for like 3 scenes
>>
>>223927494
He's not criticized for his plan, he's criticized for incompetence. Carver is pathetic by Bond villain standards. He captures Bond and then lets him escape no less than four times. That has to be a record
>>
TND has a really comfy atmosphere to it and the theme and ending theme are great.

He was a great henchman. Loved his theme and how Barry worked it into the score too.
>>
How about the most forgettable villain? I've literally never seen anyone mention this guy in Bond threads.
>>
>>223931609
He's not really a villain. Elektra is the villain and Renard is just her henchman
>>
>>223928851
Well in his defense he's a j*urnalist
>>
>>223925877
Only having him look straight into the camera and say "oh, I'm jewish by the way in case you haven't noticed" in a close up shot would make it more obvious

The twist was pretty good to be fair. The older I get the more I appreciate The World is Not Enough.

I like the introduction of Renard (welcome to the devils breath) and that he can't feel pain but it kind of fizzles out later in the movie. The meltdown scene is very forgettable.

Im also a fan of Drax, Carver and Sanchez.

doesn't Zorn actually have the highest on-screen kill count of any Bond character (exc. Bond)? He guns down an ass load of miners at the end.
