Three movies and this was the only good scene in all of them. How can you fuck up this badly?
>>
>>223926909
thats not a good scene
>>
POV: you’re on the Artemis rocket trying to get past starlink satellites
>>
and that scene was lifted from mass effect 3 which lifted it from babylon 5 which probably lifted it from something else
>>
great formation so you wait for the ships in front to be destroyed and then the ones behind them can fire?
>>
>>223926909
How is this a good scene?
>>
>>223926909
>fire in the general direction of the fleet
>guaranteed hit

Return of the Jedi.

Jedi wasn't a big fleet coming to the rescue.

It's his talent
>>
>>223927011
The good guys are getting their asses ripped open, all hope seems lost, and the cavalry arrives to the franchise's main theme and the tide turns. Simple, effective, and awesome.
>>
>>223927269
He didn't do the second movie and it's the worst of the three.
>>
>>223927234
Neither was Mass Effect 3.

Kessler Syndrome: The Scene.

You described what happened not why its good
>>

Not the anon who mentioned ME3.

Are the two completely and utterly apart from each other? What do you want me to say?

kek
>>
>>223926909
The only good action scene is the throne room fight. Yeah I get it they aren't actually punching the actors if you slow it down frame by frame but it's actually decent slightly above average fight choreography

The farthest Vader helmet pedestal gight is also kinda cool even if it makes zero fucking sense
>>
>>223927416
Yes, describing what happens is pretty clearly not the same as describing what makes it good. No one wants you to say anything, you started the thread.
>>
>>223926909
it wasn't, looks like a bunch of shit thrown together
>>
>>223927303
It's garbage and anti-star wars
>>
>>223927478
What happens is what's good. Personally I'm a sucker for the cavalry comes in when all hope seems lost trope. I loved it in DS9, I loved it in Godzilla Minus One, I've loved it in every iteration.

>>223927520
How is the entire galaxy uniting to tell Sheev "Fuck you" anti-Star Wars?

Something something Jews have no sense of aesthetics, so they create ugliness instead of beauty.
>>
Clone Wars at its worst is still better than the sequel trilogy
>>
>>223927553
It has no actual back-story or build up. They just randomly dumped 6 million rebel ships there because they had no better idea for a conclusion.
It's trash.
>>
>>223927585
Lando told the others he's going to get help, and Palpatine announced to the entire galaxy that he's going to destroy everyone and everything unless they bow to him. Should they have spend half an hour cutting to each and every planet with a character saying they will join the assault?
>>
>>223927622
Yes, this is a terrible asspull and it's ridiculous.
Nobody will be immersed by this, only laugh at how retarded is it.
>>
>>223927642
How is it an asspull? Because you're angry that five people didn't destroy the entire Final Order by themselves?
>>
>>223927716
I'm not angry, these movies are trash and everyone else thinks so.
>>
>>223927746
Agreed, but this one moment isn't bad.
>>
>>223927303
>I'm dragging mines

And

>Serenity luting in the alliance fleet are much better done and iconic scenes on a cinematic level than this slop
>>
>>223926909
>good scene
It was a collection of random ass civilian ships against 10,000 star destroyers. It was fucking retarded.
>>

The rule of cool
>>
>>223926909
>How can you fuck up this badly?
By not understanding the audience or the subject matter.
>>
>>223928174
This, the very idea of civilians fighting the military is the tranniest faggotiest slop ever conceived.

Very weird lightning, it looks like it's filmed in a swimming pool.
>>
>>223928634
Fighting the military is not the same as playing a support role in an evacuation
>>
>>223928634
Hey, you fucking retarded historically illiterate mongoloid, do you really think the civilian ships evacuating troops at dunkirk were providing fire support and fighting battleships? Really you actually think that?
>>
>>223927315
wrong, reddit. all the films sucked, but tfa made it so nothing after could ever be good
>>
>>223927517
It looks like a five year old came up with the scene
>>
>>223928293
What's cool about it?
>>
I'm certain if this was any other movie you all would love it.
>>
>>223926925
fpbp
That looks like random broken chucks of plastic strewn across a windshield in a carwash.
>>
>>223929417
Like any scene from any sci-fi movie where there's a lot of ships.
>>
>>223929544
>Like any scene from any sci-fi movie where there's a lot of ships.

No, J.J., you are lying. Return of the Jedi never looked like that sack of crap in OP's op. It had the best space battle of all-time and you could make out everything and it didn't look like a random mess.
>>
>>223929566
>Return of the Jedi never looked like that sack of crap in OP's op
There's plenty of shots where you can't tell shit apart.
>>

>The hallmark of Mon Calamari capital ships is that no two vessels, even in the same "class" are the same shape/design.
>The same Mon Cal cruiser can be seen copy/pasted 20 times.
Lets set aside the lore bible people falling asleep on the job. Its just a fucking bunch of blender models hanging in empty space, nothing is really happening and then the scene cuts immediately to close up random shots of fighters zooming around and star destroyers nose diving for the rest of the battle.

How did you feel about ships from the cartoons, Netflix shows, and other movies being in the Citizen's Fleet?

>>
>>223926909
>can't shoot because there's a fuck ton of friendlies in front of you
>can't maneuver because there's a fuck ton of friendlies all over the fucking place you'd run into

Yea, great scene Jews.
>>
>>223927622
TlJ takes place directly after the First Order has revealed they are willing and able to committ mass genocide, before then having that power destroyed. Shortly afterwards they lose an entire fleet of warships, including multiple unique capital ships, and suffer the death of their leader. Despite this, the galaxy ignores one of the greatest hero of the Rebellion's call for help as they've "lost hope" and lets the First Order plow their asses until TRoS. At which point the First Order is in greater control, at the height of their power, with more numerous and more powerful ships than ever before...but yeah Lando just went and convinced the entire galaxy to show up in an afternoon. You are a retarded seal and Disney loves people like you
>>
>>223931401
Oh my god, none of those ships had steering abilities?!
>>
>>223931866
>Oh my god, none of those cars had steering abilities?!
>>
>>223931771
The First Order was targeting the Resistance. The rest of the galaxy sighed with relief and didn't want to get involved lest they be targeted as well. Then Palpatine told the entire galaxy that everyone would be wiped out if they didn't kiss his ass. The galaxy realized that unless they did something they were all on the chopping block.

>>223931898
Your image is missing an incredibly important thing: spaceships have full 3D motion.

Agreed. The Holdo maneuver scene is better even if the worldbreaking it introduces is retarded. The only legit scenes I like from the sequel trilogy are Rey's intro in the Force Awakens, up until she meets Finn. They're good scenes.
