Where exactly were they getting their fuel from in a zombie apocalypse for their cars?
>>
>>223928183
If you're the type of person who writes for a tv show, gasoline is magic and stays viable forever.
>>
the Fear the walking dead spinoff dedicated seasons to battles for the control of oil refineries once it reached Texas
>>
>>223928265
a lot has to happen once you control a physical refinery though. you need skilled people who can operate it. you need a global shipping network for all the necessary exports. this doesnt get operated by a handful of zombie fighters with guns
>>
>>223928183
siphoning from the millions of abandoned vehicles
>>
>>223928183
Ethanol
>>
>>223928372
it has shelf life. it loses potency when it just sits for weeks or months. they make additives you can add to gas if youre planning to store it
>>
>>223928373
Even shorter life than gas, takes a lot of gasoline to produce.
>>
>>223928393
Plus they make the additives with gas.
>>
>>223928397
They got all the time in the world.
>>
>>223928372
Might as well just pour varnish directly in.
>>
>>223928418
To mine, ship, and refine gasoline to power the industries that make gasoline alternatives?
>>
>>223928183
Diesel dosen't rot as fast, and homemade biodiesel is also an option
>>
>>223928183
oh man, what the walking dead became and all the spin-offs that followed is such uninspired convoluted shit with woke forced in at any corner. You make a good point, but fucking hell, them finding fuel for their cars is minor compared to the total bullshit of later seasons
>>
they went to a museum in washington to steal a display wagon, so they could learn how to make wagons. It nearly got them killed hauling it out, and like an episode later they are all driving cars again. This show had a new writer for every scene at some point it seems
>>
>>223928439
They don't use that much. A lot is also solar/wind powered.
>>
>>223928477
>Fuel logistics in show is miniscule compared to other problems later on.

Go on....
>>
>>223928670
like fat disgusting muslim women still fat years after the outbreak and some how managing to maintain a halal diet
>>
People are still watching the show? Honest to God went to watch the show after all thr hype. First season was a doozy second was a bore 3rd season is where it kicks off with the Prison and Woodbury. By 5th season it begins to wane and become the boring slog it was known to be. New characters are introduced but they arent as cool as the ones they killed off. Then we get to Neegan and his war by season 7-8 and it kept me hooked until I found out Negan was an actual retard and that Simon his right hand man was actually right and Negan should have just killed Rick and all of Alexandria. S9 starts out strong and the Whisperers was genuinely fun then we get to the Commonwealth in S11 and its goes complete SJW tier whitey bad tier.

Daryl kills the king of Spain
>>
>>223928847

What?
>>
>>223928183
Actually they do explain that at some point. It's vegetal fuel.
>>
>>223928867
Oh yeah.
>>
>>223928882
I'm flabbergasted
>>
>>223928333
Why would you need to export fuel if you're taking a refinery for your own needs? If you mean imports then the only thing a refinery really needs to import to just distill diesel/gasoline is energy and crude oil. You're not concerned with eking out every bit of product in the apocalypse, hence more intensive processes like hydro or fluid catalytic are unnecessary. Additionally distillation towers are relatively simple things, so teaching some zombie fighters with guns to run one wouldn't be that difficult. Finally, you don't need a refinery if you're distilling gasoline for a small settlement. With hardware store parts, I could build something in my garage right now that could comfortably distill a barrel a day, with pretty minimal input.

>>223928889
They get women (daughters) from other outposts to continue the royal family. Daryl puts an end to that with a bunch of lesbians.
>>
>>223928333
Sure they had manuals lying around
>>
>>223928916
Come on you really expect me to believe this
>>
>>223928938
Just got done watching season 3 of Daryl Dixon. Some stuff was legit great. Like the Mad Max tier episode with the train dude.
>>
>>223928670
Anon is right the shit in later seasons is much worse
>>
People still had hands, brains and language.
>>
i still cant get past the fact that the walking dead has one of the most retarded ways for how the world was taken over by zombies.
The governments knew everybody was infected, but for some retarded reason decided to keep it a secret, even when literally every hospital around the world was turning in to ground zero.
>>
>>223929126
that's a top levels of government thing though isn't it
cause the CDC guy didn't know until he discovered it himself right? or am I misremembering it completely

why does nobody in a zombie apocalypse movie/tv show use a bicycle to get around? Pretty easy to maintain, no fuel, all the roads would be empty of traffic
>>
>>223929126
Both the US and french goverment knew.
The idea that they felt the need to withhold the information that every human on the planet will turn in to undead violent cannibal when they die, is beyond me.
I think the writer dropped the ball on that one.
>>
>>223929266
Okay dutchie back to /int/
>>
>>223929266
Can't take much loot.
>>
>>223929283
>>223929284
I thought of another one, it would also be silent unlike driving a car with a loud engine and drawing zombies towards the noise
>>
>>223928333
I have watched every CSB video and I am an expert on running one of these plants.
>>
>>223929272
>>223929202
>>
>>223929309
But you're also exposed. Humans can shoot or throw you off easily.
>>
>>223928916
Daryl singlehandedly ends a euro dynasty? What a dick there goes a person to empower the people to stay together
>>
>>223929266
cars offer you at least some protection and quick getaway, not only against zombies but also bandits and other bad actors.
>all the roads would be empty of traffic
except for any vehicles left abandoned in the road.
>>
>>223929556
>except for any vehicles left abandoned in the road.
that would make driving a car more difficult not a bike which could easily move around them
>>
>>223928236
The starter on the other hand...
>>
>>223929548
From his point of view they were le bad. Also, eat the rich lmao.
>>
>>223929126
It would probably have taken one or two days for it to be common knowledge that people who are dying of anything are rising from the dead.
>>
>>223929633
The word would have spread fast, hospitals, retirement homes, have constant deads, these places would be ground zero for a outbreak very fast.
