I wish Depp wasn't JUST'd during the filming of this. And I wish they didn't get two random fucking retards to direct it. What's silly is in much of the behind the scenes of it Depp looks kind of normal and less caked in make up and less bloated and baggy. Yet they seemed to fucking have him ham it all up with a drunken Jack and it was lame.

The directors made Kon Tiki which is a good movie and you can see actually some nice directing flair in the film, really nice bright colours, especially how the water looked, the guillotine scene, the fun visual with the ship in the bottle, it recalls the fun Verbinski was having with the visuals. The writing is what sucks it feels like a a bunch of fucking Sponge Bob episodes stuck together or something and magic being destroyed in the ending is lame. The CGI is also pretty bad often.
