I have watched a lot of dumbass movies and slop, but I don't know that I've ever watched a shit movie that annoyed me as much as this. The entire fucking thing was nonsensical. So you want to introduce aliens and that they implanted communication in a couple kids? Cool man, there's so many ways to make this a good movie. Instead it's a frantic chase movie with a couple of total retards with no actual payoff in the end. Also a rando cult who just happened to have some master plan sorted out that failed, but the guy who was killing himself to stop them just randomly gave up for no reason in particular to let her broadcast. Monkeys would find this unwatchable. I had to mute it several times cuz she wouldn't stop freaking out and being an annoying cunt. What was Spielberg thinking here? This is a 0/10 pile of shit.
Her panic attack on the train was way too long and served no purpose. Nobody watching was remotely invested in her character at this point. The scene's only purpose was to annoy the viewer. Spielberg is washed.

There was no adequate explanation for how she could just put giant groups of ppl into spells so she could do what she wants. So she turns into a dead relative... why would everyone in the area stand down for that?
