Fuck pulp fiction

travolta and jackson were 40 and 45 when the movie came out so they would be hipster millennials now.

which means their characters would be barely any different.

halfway through the movie though mia would snort a line of pure fent and die instantly.
>>
>>223935569
It would have the same exact characters, much lamer camera work and lighting, no foul language or slurs, everyone would be that boringly attractive type that you see EVERYWHERE in media nowadays and the plot would be all about how Mia Wallace is actually a victim to her husband (and everyone else's) big, evil male ego.

And Bruce Willis' character would now be a woman.

Then there's a meta narrative joke about how they thought she'd live because what they saw in that old movie pulp fiction but then realized fent is dangerous

if there really were to be a Pulp Fiction 2 directed by Tarantino, I wouldn’t have high hopes but I and many other people would definitely watch it sooner or later.

I can already picture it as a Netflix film directed by some 28 year old hack who only got the job because he's Brad Pitt's nephew or something

Also, I forgot that they would have to justify the "Pulp Fiction" title with constant references to actual pulp fiction media, such as magazines or films but not by integrating them into the narrative, but by having characters reading/watching those kinds of media or by verbal references ("Who do you think you are, Dick Tracy?")

Sam here, and that's because you don't often see a super famous mainstream actor get their big break in their mid-40s

I remember not even knowing it was him in Jurassic Park because he just looks like a random middle aged guy in that
>>

wasnt he a hardcore drug addict before pulp fiction?

Jules: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa... stop right there. Eatin' a bitch out, and givin' a bitch a rim massage ain't even the same fuckin' thing.
Vincent: It's not. It's the same ballpark.
Jules: Ain't no fuckin' ballpark neither. Now look, maybe your method of massage differs from mine, but, you know, touchin' his wife's feet, and stickin' your tongue in her Holiest of Holies, ain't the same fuckin' ballpark, it ain't the same league, it ain't even the same fuckin' sport. Look, rim massages don't mean shit.
Vincent: Have you ever given a rim massage?
Jules: [scoffs] Don't be tellin' me about rim massages. I'm the rim fuckin' master.
Vincent: Given a lot of 'em?
Jules: Shit yeah. I got my technique down and everything, I don't be ticklin' or nothin'.
Vincent: Would you give a guy a rim massage?
[Jules gives Vincent a long look, realizing he's been set up]
Jules: Fuck you.
Vincent: You give them a lot?
Jules: Fuck you.
Vincent: You know, I'm getting kinda tired. I could use a rim massage myself.
Jules: Man, you best back off, I'm gittin' a little pissed here.
>>
>>223939646
Same thing, it'd just be calling it "massaging the dogs".

Yes he was, he comes from a tumultous family background and he's had problems with drugs for most of his life, but then he managed to clean himself up and get serious about his film career and actually became a celebrated actor.

And good on him, I'm not his biggest fan but he can be pretty good when put in the right role, it's just interesting seeing a 45 year old former druggie get his big break at that age and point in his life when most people give up on acting if by the time they're 20 they haven't become the new Johnny Depp
>>
>>223942506
>they haven't become the new Johnny Depp, an actor famous for having drug problems and a tumultuous family
Genius example if that was intentional. It's like poetry, it rhymes

He'd have to get Roger Avery back to write it for him like he did the original.

That's exactly what they did in Penny Dreadful.
>>
>>223935569
Nah. The caliber of actors has gone way down in years since and there's absolutely no way they wouldn't fuck it up with leftist politics somehow. If nothing good has come out in the last 18-20 years, why would they start now?
>>
>>223942977
>Penny Dreadful
Can you please explain to me what that show is even about?

I've been hearing about it for the better part of a decade now and I still cannot for the life of me figure out what kind of story it's supposed to be telling, it just seems like s hodge-podge of horror stuff

>Vanessa Ives, a medium, recruits Wild West showman Ethan Chandler, scientist Victor Frankenstein and explorer Sir Malcolm to track down supernatural killers that are haunting Victorian London.

...the Google summary isn't of much help either lmaooo
"Supernatural killers"? The hell does that even mean?

It's definitely a hodgepodge of horror stuff but there is a loose plotline involving the devil and dracula or something. I don't really remember. It's one of these things where they throw together all these public domain characters like Dracula and Frankenstein. The cowboy gets fucked Dorian Gray btw. There are scenes where they literally look at penny dreadfuls, little horror books that cost a penny, and it figures into the plot somehow.

The entire ordeal with Zed just turns into consensual romantic gay sex.

What you're describing pretty much sounds like a lame version of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen lmao. It even has Dorian Gray!

Oh, of course! Why wouldn't that happen?

>What you're describing pretty much sounds like a lame version of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen lmao. It even has Dorian Gray!
Lol, yes; that's exactly what it was! Except it's horror and every other episode Eva Green gets naked because she's possessed by the devil or something. I rather enjoyed it for the most part.
