When it comes to shows it's better to release weekly episodes instead of just dropping the whole season one day

Binge-watchers are mentally ill. You're supposed to have patience and wait an entire week between each episode, like an adult

True but you’re still Jewish.

erm..

can we get a factcheck on this pls??

In theory there's nothing wrong dropping a whole season at once. The problem is streaming has incentivized just making never ending slop that draws things out as long as possible until it's just canceled. So there are very few satisfying stories with resolutions. It's just endless engagement bait that leads nowhere.

Listen boomer, modern streaming sites aren't going to cater to your TV watching culture. TV is dead, and rightfully so. Go preach your Talmudic propaganda elsewhere

Binge culture is the epitome of reddit behaviour.
It's up there with collecting baby yoda funkopops.

TV series used to be something like this: "Ah, my favorite characters! What are they up to this time? I'm amused by the situations they get themselves in. What will happen?"

Now TV series is: "I am deeply moved by how this character is literally me and his struggles make my own struggles feel seen and validated. This TV series is good because it manages to be accurately about me all along."

What is wrong with american society that pushes people into falling in love with "being seen"?
