It is a deeply flawed work of art but it is art, and separate from most all other superhero movies. It's a worse movie than Spiderman 8 or Captain America 5 but it has a legitimate spiritual dimension that those things don't even come close to attempting.Snyder can best be understood when you realize he is dyslexic. He cannot competently understand or create long stories. But he is a spirituality legitimate artist - he has a depth with beauty in it, he just mumbles when he tries to explain it.
