would a medieval terminator work? like, they send him to hunt the first O'Connor and cut the middle man in pieces.
I read a book a long time ago where a Xenomorph-type alien gets loose in the Roman Empire. Protagonist is a gladiator game supplier trying to catch with no idea that it's an alien let loose by the space equivalent of poachers and the Federation is debating nuking the whole continent just to be sure.
That's fuckin stupid

I'd guess in the same way judgement day is inevitable so is some version of Connor , if they go too far back a different one occurs from the resulting causality
terminator versus titanic. Seamus O'Connor john connors great granddad is on the ship in 7th class. Canonical he gets on a lifeboat by dressing up as a woman. Terminator(Tx-39801 series) must prevent this.

How the fuck does John Connor beat Skynet anyway? According to Genisys, John's army storm the central computer or master server that hosts Skynet and when that's destroyed, all the Termies shut down at once and the war is won. Well, that's a scenario that could easily be avoided. There's no reason for Skynet to limit itself to one system in the US. It should exist across multiple systems around the world. John Connor's ragtag band wouldn't be able to do anything about a Skynet backup over in China.

Where they realize Skynet is a distributed botnet software/virus and you can't just defeat it by destroying some central server?
