Maybe by this point the pianist had already squealed that he’d told Bill about the party. Maybe he just…knew. The point is the terrifying feeling of thinking you're undercover and then realizing someone might see right through your cover, and they’re angry. And you’re all alone in a hostile place.

>>223945668I guess I just think there are details that are interesting when they are meant to be noticed by the filmmakers, and then there is picking apart minor inconsistencies or noticing shortcuts they took to fit the narrative. Like just because something slightly stretches real-world plausibility doesn’t mean it’s a mistake. It might just be the filmmaker asking you to go along with the spirit of the story.
