I like Hartnett and Davis and wanted to enjoy this but I don't know why they went with such a lame ending. I also feel like I missed something with the hag being the daughter on the other island. Very confusing.

Newfoundland was heavily settled by the Irish so their accent is now some crazy new blend Canadian Irish thing that's pretty unique but can come off as Irish to people unfamiliar with it or actors that can't nail its more unique features.
