>Kubrick is a hack I can do it way better
Steven Webber's Masters of Horror episode was kino however.
>In my version the Overlook burns in his, it freezes.Yeah. Kubrick liked to reverse the ending of the things he worked on. Lolita doesn't die. Neither does Johnny clay. They both die in the novels. Alexander DeLarge settles down and adopts a quiet life in the novel, in the movie he becomes kind of a traveling side show to justify the states' reprogramming operation. In Red Alert the bombers don't complete their mission and the whole world breathes a sigh of relief having narrowly avoided general thermonuclear war. In Dr. Strangelove the bomber makes it and dooms the world. Barry Lyndon in the book goes back to his bad habits and dies destitute, in the movie he quietly retires and lives off of stipends from his wifes' estate. In Traumnovelle the family lives happily ever after, in Eyes Wide Shut they quietly surrender their daughter to the cult. So, yeah, King, he reversed your novel because that's what he did as a storyteller!
>>223948676BTW, the hedge maze wasn't real. It was part of the shining.
>>223948676It is a better adaptation of the book, and it's good
>>223948900I used to work at this hotel. It's in Yosemite. The girls had really hairy pussies.
>>223948900The overhead shots show no hedge maze. Jack probably died locked in the freezer.
>>223948941Some girls want to keep the crabs warm.
>>223948935The book has a mean spirited tone that's missing from the mini-series adaptation.
>>223949107He was doing a lot of coke at the time.
