>can't see us if we don't moviehow did it see the guy on the toilet? he didn't movehow didit see the kid trapped under the car? he didn't moveam i supposed to throw logic out the fucking window watching this movie
>>223950960move*
>>223950960He was having a bowel movement
Lost World makes it clear that they can actually see even without movement and that Dr Grant and the kids just got really lucky the Trex had just ate.
>>223950960Gennaro kept moving his arms actually
>>223950960>how did it see the guy on the toilet? he didn't moveHe started wiping his face and looked up at the Rex. Movement.>how didit see the kid trapped under the car?The Rex knew there was something in the car already, frog dna doesn’t mean frog level object permanence. Plus Tim started screaming while the car was being attacked.
How would he even know anything about how T Rex vision works
>>223951175The vision thing is something they should have not bothered trying to adapt from the book. It makes sense with the book's context, in the film it just seems like an ass-pull.
>>223951365You can make pretty accurate assumptions by analyzing the orbitals of a Trex skull and comparing it to reptile/avian/amphibian skulls. Although one of the themes of the books is that those assumptions may go awry as dinosaurs were a whole different taxonomy that had parts of reptile/avian/amphibian traits and even some totally unique ones reserved for mammals.
>>223951443The book also states that the dinosaurs' DNA is a mix of random crap thrown together to make something that looks like the popular image of dinosaurs. Wu isn't even sure he's fixed the genetic defects, just that they aren't ramming the electric fences anymore.
