I always thought the cokehead thing came from the SNL skits when Jim Carrey's mustache started falling off and he was trying to play off him trying to keep it on. So they all started doing that weird nose thing. I remember that being the start of the weird nose thing and they kept doing that as part of the characters for ever after.

Were they supposed to be cokeheads all along?
