>Oh. My. Science. Every sound can be represented as a summation of sine waves????

1. They don't need to be integer multiples. It can be a ratio or even some random digits
2. The amplitude matters
3. It's not "theoretically to infinity", the series converges to infinity
4. Yes, you can make a real electronic device that makes something converge to infinity. If you divide 1 by the voltage then you get a hyperbolic equation / waveform
5. This algorithm is indispensable for converting continuous waveforms to binary data but it's still crap for binary data. It's trying to draw a schematic with a paintbrush. You get these weird batman ears any time you try to produce a "square wave" which encodes literally everything binary. Analogue signals that get clipped at a number by a computer sound fucking dreadful
6. You missed cosine. You missed the other one. "compliment sine" is not another mathematical object but the orthogonal transpose, but this is above the paygrade of someone that didn't make it past DSP and control systems 102

What private equity is backing this schlub?
I guess the ones that see marketable pop science like Bill Nye and not a man on a whiteboard explaining why you need a bipole filter so your ears don't explode.

Sorry I'm grumpy because I skipped breakfast today.

>convergence not sneeded
>infinity not sneeded
>infinite series not sneeded
It’s not like it’s better at university. At the end of the day, the transcendental functions are cute idealizations that have no use outside paper/ink. Whenever you want to get work done, you work with finite polynomials, on finite intervals.

bruh if you divide 1 by the number of cups of lemonade you sold then you get something converging to infinity. It's a valid mathematical object without getting into that transcendental gobblygook.

A sine wave is infinitely differentiable. This is why it grinds my gears, because there's like 3 important things to not about this basic fundamental thing and he missed at least one of them.

stopped reading after this midwit statement

Because you're a simpleton. You think infinity is an "idea" where really smart greek dudes have numbers float around their head and ponder the infinite cosmos.
There are actually number systems where you can just divide by zero but I'm not even going to try to explain a Cayley-Dickson constructions.
