Tom Hanks is a very good actor, i totally bought him as an AIDS-ridden homosexual lawyer
>>
Great movie because it's rather fair and balanced: while telling the story of a guy with AIDS it ALSO shows the other side of the debate, ie how regular people are kind of right to be homophobic and prejudiced. These days filmmakers rarely have the guts to treat the audience like adults.

>i totally bought him

i would have returned him the minute i found out he was a lawyer

On YouTube, I tried to find a clip of the scene where Tom Hanks is in the gay movie theater and had his pozz gay sex encounter. But I can't find a clip. I remember it being in the movie. Or did I just imagine it?

I remember seeing this in theaters. I had just had an Irish coffee before the movie started. It was a fun time.
