Charlie

Watching him and Grandpa Joe get graphically hacked to shreds by the giant metal ceiling fans after consuming the fizzy lifting drinks was pretty jarring

All the close ups of blood, meat and brain matter sliding down the walls just seemed excessive to be honest

She deserved it.

Imagine having 20 Warwick Davises and just casually blowing them up one at a time.
I bet Wonka would tut, shake his head with a faux look of sadness, and say
>next time we’ll crack it! Don’t worry, my boy!
And wink at the next victim.
Him and Slug would have a good laugh at the fact they only add a bit of food colouring in to make it look like they’ve changed it, when all they’ve really done is just alter how fast it takes for them to start swelling up. Each time the Warwick would have a look of relieved hope on his face, and Wonka would lead the others in a hurrah, only for him to start going purple halfway through.
I mean, just IMAGINE what goes through their heads as Wonka casually dons a bib and points a glass in the direction of the impending explosion, his only response to the looks of horrified disgust being a cheery
>waste not want not!

An earlier cut of Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory exists. Only a small select group of people have watched the cut its in entirety. It's way more darker than the released version.

Augustus Gloop gets turned into a dozen bars of chocolate and is actually sold as Augustus Chocolate Flavored Gloop. Violet Beauregarde, in a scene filmed mostly filmed with practical effects, is implied to have exploded off-screen after having inflated into a giant blueberry. Veruca Salt and her father get cooked to death after squirrels toss them down into a hole leading to a furnace. An Oompa Loompa squashes Mike flat with a fly swatter after he'd be shrunken down inside the WonkaVision TV.

The most sickening of all? Willy Wonka goes through with a horrific murder-suicide. He flies the elevator upward into the grates of the factory's tallest chimney stack and shatters it into a billion tiny shards, killing him, Charlie, and Grandpa Joe in the process. The reason this cut was never made public? It proved to be too graphic for test audiences. Violet's blueberry transformation also needed to be reshot due to Burton's dissatisfaction with the practical effects.

Oompa Loompa.

i remember the book ends with all the kids being cured in cartoony/Looney Tunes logic. Charlie sees Mike Teevee being stretched out back to his normal size, Violet is popped and deflates like a balloon, stuff like that.

then he flies in the elevator to the moon and meets aliens and what the fuck

Wait, they died?
