>in the whole found footage horror genre there are maybe 5 amazing movies while the rest is total uninspired trash with flicks like paranormal activity getting so popular despite belonging in the mediocre category
it's crazy how they keep making the same mistakes over and over: literally nothing is happening for like an hour just for a little scare at the end and that's literally it, how lame, it's like whoever is directing the movie and writing the script somehow forgot that it's a horror, I'd want a refund on my ticket
also I'm surprised at how rarely they use dashcams/bodycams, imagine a Raid-style movie with a scary ass building to go through and you follow a SWAT team which goes on a regular mission and is about to meet unimaginable horrors through the bodycam of one of the members (which would also prevent one of the most immersion breaking and dumbest pitfalls of found footage where someone might be literally raped by an ungodly abomination right in front of the cameraman who is just standing there making sure the zoom is adjusted properly instead of actually helping, like what the fuck)

You write like a RETARD.

I really like the style of found-footage for horror movies because it feels a lot more immersive. But yeah, a lot end up being hot garbo.
Name your top 5 found footage movies!!!!!!

Found footage horror genre is the only good horror genre.

Every other genre looks and feels like capeshit.
>>
>>223962241
Yeah I'm sure you've watched all 750 FF movies
>>
>>223962639
I clearly didn't but I've seen the biggest entries in the genre and that's my conclusion
a small unknown indie movie I have missed is not an exception that changes things fundamentally

As Above so Below is a classic.
The Tunnel
>>
Trash Humpers is the one that gets closest to being an actual found footage movie

Are you niggas for real, as above so below was one of the stupidest films I've ever watched
I've nearly died laughing at the
>maybe the philosopher's stone was the self-reflection we made along the way
twist. Also that scene where the main character sucker-punches a demon in first person view was hilarious. Those are the only two things I remember from that film. The rest was a complete snore fest.
