It’s a perfectly serviceable action movie. Not amazing, but certainly not terrible, aside from some wonky CGI in the third act.

You just answered your question. It was a serviceable weird reboot to a dying franchise when it was promoted as the next big thing by the rock. It barely works standalone, but with all the baggage then yeah it’s overall complete shit.

I liked it. I’m glad this thread exists because I didn’t understand the hate. Now the credit scene with Superman was retarded because I don’t think Black Adam vs Superman is interesting at all.
