This was made by bitter boomers after their 50s nostalgia in the 70s and 80s ended and so in the 90s they reverted back to their 60s attitudes of hating the 50s again and made slop like this to make gen x also hate the 50s. The 50s were still shit in some ways btw. But not because they were "conservative". Every decade and era has shitty aspects to them. Past, present and future. Your life, society and culture will always be shitty in some way. Nothing was ever the utopia romanticists imagine.
