>Has a realistic panic attack
Why does nobody give the Sopranos crap for it but does for the new wave of 2020s media that does it?
>>
because soipranos came out 30 years ago

Because the reality of what panic attacks are added depth to the character and story. It wasn't to stand on a soapbox and announce to the world how serious and highbrow your show is because you did thing A realistically to support awareness of thing A please follow us on twitter to see how you can help.

It was "Strong men can be vulnerable too" stuff for tired uncs.
But it was just trickling in hollywood adjacent faggotry into the masculine space.
Like the wire.
>>
Tbh the "you've been having panic attacks since you were a kid" and "actually, your father also had his spells" parts were too much.
>>
remember when they'd go in the titty bar and there'd be tits

I kind of get the "you've been having them since you were a kid" thing. I had my first one as a kid but didnt know what they were called at the time. I imagine if your brain is fucked to have panic disorder the inciting trauma probably happens when you're young and easier to traumatize (or its just some faulty wiring from birth)
