john wick is terrible and i'm tired of people acting like it's good. written like absolute dogshit. shoestring plot that stops making sense halfway through the first movie. by the middle of the second movie, EVERYONE on planet earth is a fucking assassin (destroying the "cool" factor of the assassin underworld). horrible dialogue that reads like it was written by a millenial manchild. horrible CGI that looked 15 years dated when the movie was brand new. the only saving grace are the few cool action scenes (which are actually kinda few and far between, most of the action was dogshit). it would have been impressive if it was just a little low-budget passion project funded by keano and his buddies from the matrix stunt team, but they had $30m+ budgets from the getgo.
