I kept telling y'all: no reason for him to do nonstop showmance with Dua Lipa, right after his passive aggressive "crush confession" + begrudging Butler's lack of reciprocal feelings on the press tour for Apple drama. He even made a 1 last ditch effort in the Daily Mail interview (in June 2024, well after the showmance began) + then some podcast for Emmy campaign -- that their "friendship" is the most special in the world, they took walks together with his dog, blah blah. Why pine for a guy when he's dating a woman for marriage? What a shitshow to get married for the casting + millions of pay.

I recently rewatched most of Bond movies just to refresh.
It's been a while since I watched Brosnan movies but holy shit he's so bad at acting it's incredible. He's not even a character that fits the style of the movie, it's like he's doing some weird bit the entire time. Extremely stiff and every single character he encounters is acting circles around him.
I have no idea how I didn't notice this before. He's absolutely abysmal. Totally phoning it in. Even in the context of his movies being a bit 90s silly he's totally out of his depth. Dogshit presence and dogshit line delivery.

This is kind of the problem with new movies they make too much of a big deal about irrelevant parts and try to promote it as the best movie ever. The first Amazon Bond should have been coming out this holiday season already bam bam 5 movies in 6 years. Selling hype for years will only setup disappointment when it finally releases.
