I liked this movie, it felt like a pretty good last gasp of the action movie industry. A "last one to leave, shut the lights off" kind of film.

Not sure what to make of a sequel. I'll give it a look, but eh? Will it be more daring than the first, or less?

I saw the trailer for it ahead of Godzilla Minus Zero, which amused me since I saw the trailer for the first one ahead of Godzilla Minus One. It didn't appeal to me then and it doesn't appeal to me now. At least I didn't have to sit through a fucking Argylle 2 trailer.
