I watched this for the first time last night and it effected me way more than I expected

There was this low budget b movie I watched one time. My buddy gave me a burned DVD, I can't remember the name if it. It's about this guy who's a successful banker or stock broker, rich dude. Drives a Mercedes. He has a fiancee and you can tell he absolutely adores her, she's kind of cute but honestly he's ugly as sin so he's pinching well above his weight. He's got tons of friends but there's one guy who he's obviously real close with like brothers. That friend ends up sleeping with the guys fiancee and all throughout the movie it shows them still hanging out, having fun and heartfelt conversations, doing things to help their friends. Meanwhile it shows his fiancee starting to treat him like shit, like cruel and emotionally abusive. It all culminates at a party where everything comes out and all his friends tell him to fuck off. So he goes home and shoots himself in the head. Real fucking bummer of a movie.

Carriers. The entire movie is two brothers fleeing a virus outbreak that causes an agonizing, ludicrously drawn-out death. Their only goal is to make it to the beach they used to vacation at as children. It's bleak the entire way through and without spoiling the ending completely, the goal is achieved with a hollow victory that means nothing and brings no comfort. I liked it but I doubt I'll ever watch it again.
