Is it just me or does it seem like Uma Thurman is over-acting so much in the Dexter series?The way she delivers her lines come off cringey at times and she goes over the top when describing other serial killers like it's getting her wet.

How was Uma so insanely good at tracking down serial killers anyway? She's single-handedly more competent than all of the US police and FBI combined. Like, Claudette who is supposed to be super smart because of her powers of autism has been fumbling with NYR case for 20+ years and even after being handed the file on the guy STILL can't find shit on him, whereas Uma tracked him down on her own way before that. I don't buy the "she's a heckin spec ops" explanation because that doesn't translate into omniscient detective skills.
