I got in a heated argument with google AI about whether or not Chris Makepeace (my bodyguard, Vamp, meatballs, mazes and monsters)) appeared in the 1982 slasher Whodunit? aka Island of Blood. I uploaded this pic that was from the back of the VS bluray and the ai insisted it was Steven Tash and when I pointed out that Tash had blue eyes and not brown that I was right and that it was actually Terence Goodman who looks nothing at all like the pic. Chris Makepeace was in this flick even if for some mysterious reason he didn't get in the credits. AI is llm shit and that the bubble is popping.

I closed out then asked it if there was any connection between the two movies and it said no. I responded that it had told me footage from Pieces had been used and it told me I had experienced an AI hallucination where it was doubling down instead of admitting a mistake

That's the only reason why we came back, because we were requested from the Japanese, because they weren't going to give them the money for the film. It was a huge success in Japan, Part I." [8]

They like the fantasy of warriors coming to their village, slaughtering everyone, but sparing them because they're so beautiful and making them their bride. I watched "Dracula - The True History" (2026), an interesting documentary about the cruel and horrible real life Count "Dracula" Vlad the Impaler, the 15th century voyevode of Valachia. He murdered more civilians than soldiers, more Christians than Muslims, and the absolutely horrifying way in which they were massacred was ultimately Dracula's own downfall. He was accused of treason, dethroned, imprisoned and later murdered. The horrible stories about his crimes spread rapidly throughout Europe, book printing having been invented only 13 years earlier, and the circulating pamphlets gave rise to the general and still lingering perception that Eastern Europe is a dark, barbaric and monstrous place in contrast to the civilized West. And they even reached England where Bram Stoker read them in a small library and changed the name of his character from "Count Vampyr" to "Count Dracula". Final macabre point: When archaeologists opened Count Vlad Dracula's grave in 1967, they found a perfectly preserved body in expensive 15th century clothing. But it was a hot summer day north of Bucharest, and the summer wind and sun caused the body to crumble into ashes in minutes, before the archaeologists could even take a picture of it.

>When archaeologists opened Count Vlad Dracula's grave in 1967, they found a perfectly preserved body in expensive 15th century clothing. But it was a hot summer day north of Bucharest, and the summer wind and sun caused the body to crumble into ashes in minutes, before the archaeologists could even take a picture of it.
And you believed that?
>>
>>224170682
So true Fixbro. Perfect casting.
>>
Your first mistake? Trusting Romanians
>>
>>224173302
Well, apparently that's what the top two archaeologists of the time had to tell their superiors when asked why they couldn't produce more findings and pictures. They had to answer to a brutal dictatorship at the time. It's possible that they touched the body and blamed it on the wind, but it crumpled into dust all the same.

It's been produced by the Franco-German culture channel Arte, so the sound is either French or German, but this Youtube link has English subtitles.

They go to the trouble of referencing the first movie, several times, in detail. Only for our hero to claim Dr. Caruthers never intended to kill anybody.
>>
Cucks will never have this
>>
is Dark City /hor/?
>>
>>224174648
not really, i guess it's borderline enough to show up in like an anthology if it was a short but as a feature i dont think it has enough horror elements to really be one
>>
>>224174675
>>224174648
It isn't really terrifying, but I guess it could pass as horror. I'd type it as dark science fiction, though.
But it's an interesting movie, they don't make them like that anymore, so enjoy.
>>
>>224174749
>they don't make them like that anymore
In what way
>>
>>224174777
You know, visually interesting, with an intriguing story and a hero that you want to follow, without an annoying "diverse" main character that has to dump her traumas and her political views onto you, the viewer.

Now all of these movies are coming out in 4K UHD. Straight-to-video movies that were only ever seen in VHS quality are now fully theatrical experiences.

Yeah, they were con artists that struck it rich through selling book, TV and movie rights to their stories. That is btw. the reason why every "haunted" family that made the mistake of inviting them to their homes said the Warrens made it worse. They had to, in order to sell a juicier story.

Anyone seen this? It felt like an American take on J-Horror but being from '99 it seemingly precedes that.

Yes, I saw it a couple of months ago and thought it was OK. I understand why you got J-horror vibes.

That T-shirt and those pictures will be soooo embarassing once she learns who the Warrens really were and what they did.

They did her dirty as fuck too. She was too good for the Rob Zombie movies as well. That whole Thorn trilogy gets a lot of shit but I still like it

They were kinda doomed to fail after Carpenter walked away but I still think they're interesting. I wish they would have thought them out a little more than them just throwing shit in at the end to keep the story going but I don't think they're any sillier than what other horror franchises were doing at the time

A friend of mine had the same car as the radio host, a Volkswagen Kübelwagen, the military version of the Beetle. In "The Fog" she even had a German car radio, with the buttons labeled L, M, K and U for Lang-, Mittel-, Kurzwelle (long AM, AM and short wave) and UKW (FM).
