And I've done an overwhelming majority of Nikkes story and optional content

The only ones I saw were unequivocally yuri was Yuni and Mihara, Modernia and Repunzel (during 2nd affection) and it's a stretch Alice causally flirting with Soda during the bunny event

There's also Miss Elegg and Miss Trony who could go somewhere but hasn't yet and Tia and Naga feel like super good friends with Naga being a mother figure. I heard that some people were complaining that Belorta and Mica's story in Never land was too yuri but that was just two close friends and their shared trauma

Otherwise the game hasn't done much with the yuri. Unless they plan to make Sakura the end goal since she put her claim on the commander and he reciprocated and is just waiting to the next story beat (probably after the Sisko storyline wraps up) to say she can take him into her life without ruining her gang


But that still doesn't leave that much room for the rest of the girls to pair up. Anis and Blanc and Noir would definitely not take this lying down either.

But if I missed any other yuri beats I'd love to hear it.

The other male character you interact one is a legendary hero who all the nikkes fawn over while some of the others is a ship captain that forces his nikkes to do parties with rich people on the yaht where they give nikkes gifts and swimsuits.

It helps that the self insert feels like a character in the plot (the stuff with him and Johan are the best examples of this) but in the majority of events he's just fucking there for the incels to lap up. Like the valentines event this year and bready's events pissed me off to no end for this reason.

Then you get overzone with Dorothy and Penne, last kingdom with Crown and Chime, second affection with that scene with Marian and Rapunzel, Old tales with Abe and Cinderella, technically wordless reaffirming Yuni and Mihara's love for each other (better exemplified in unbreakable sphere), and of course Siren and Mori here. But the story is infinitely better when he's not there all together or he has a reason to be there (which is exceedingly rare) over the girls mid near death scenarios flirting with him (seriously that shit with Lyviryn fucking blew)

For me it's a game that has a good narrative and well written characters for the most part (I'm a lefty so I don't even see the main draw when I'm playing lol) and does lend it self to some good yuri moments but you are exceptionally delusional if you go in here for just the yuri. But go look up the cutscenes for overzone and tell me that isn't some fantastic doomed Yuri (and still an emotional highpoint for the series for me especially considering it was for the first half anniversary when the game was still doing really poorly)

It's a good thing that Abe (metaphorically) died because she's quite stubborn even if she loves Cinderella since she thinks her love comes off as mother/daughter. Now Cinderella has all of Grave to herself. It is a waste that they even go down on that road. Their love is beyond just mother and daughter, both of them are living for each others, and fight for each others. Grave sacrificed a lots and she asked nothing from Cindy's return but to be her Goddess, while Cindy looks over Grave and cares about her as much as Grave wants Cindy to care about herself. The fucking self-insert prince shit really just has no meaning when both of them have literally inseparable bonds. After all Pilgrims stories are 100% about themselves and not the commander, so for them the commander is as much useful as a tool for their goal.

At this point the devs go out of their way to show that even mass production nikkes form squads with no human commanders and that the only reason there is a system like that is because of Johan yet you physically meet no other commanders outside of text messages.
