The new Takeshobo site is overall alright quality wise. Most stuff was x1433 and stays x1433 with a bit less jpeg artifacting. Some (not yuri) series have WILD resolutions, there’s a 3496x4960 chapter. Definitely an oversight on their part. On the intentional side they updated older most older chapters to tank versions, so those are x2048 now, but the tank should still be superior due to one less recompression step.

Kaguhara’s fetish note inexplicably went down from x1433 to x1200 for the new chapters, not sure what’s up with that.

The manga is for sale on the amazon website that's why I mentioned kindle. They are in a format only kindles can read called KFX.
Also it seems Amazon has removed the ability to download books you purchased to your PC so you can't even convert them to a different format anymore

Something I've noticed is that female mangaka tend to get sick easier and/or a a month hiatus more often, so that's just the shit we have to deal with for a lot of yuri. It could partially be because male authors are more likely to have a wife or mom cooking and cleaning for them but even monthly serializations in general seem rough on authors.

I would argue any series where the gimmick is that the reader is unaware of the gender of the other character is inherently not a yuri narrative, the reader is not supposed to have knowledge of the developments happening later in the story.

It would be the equivalent of having a unbiased story where the female protagonist has romantic progress with female and male love rivals.
