>Honey Don'tAfter a relatively dry year for western /u/ I was happy to finally have something new to watch and I went in with low expectations, but I ended up surprised since I enjoyed it. Helps that I really like detective movies and this was all about a bumbling lesbian PI going around a town trying to solve things. Definitely could have used more approachable storytelling but all in all it was fun for a short movie. Just realizing now that I'd kill for a lesbian retelling of The Nice Guys.
Now I can finally say Harmony Secret is ass. Affair wasn't great either, but this was way worse.

Just saw The Desert Heart, it was pretty great honestly. It is definitely weird and you have to be in the right mood to not be bored or turned off by the movie, and I try to ignore the background behind these movies in general so I can just enjoy that /u/ movies are being made. That way I don't have to rewatch something for the 10th time and burn myself out on my favorites. I already watch my favorites at least once every year and worry that eventually they will stop holding the same magic when I memorize too much of it.

But one of the actresses (Linn Mashannoad Suvanamas) is already cast in a new non-GL show and both aren't known for GL roles (it's their first GL in their 8-9 year long careers) so unless Queendom is really going through the roof and LinnPraew as a couple become viral - I'd say the chances are low.
