Helps that I really like detective movies and this was all about a bumbling lesbian PI going around a town trying to solve things. Definitely could have used more approachable storytelling but all in all it was fun for a short movie. Just realizing now that I'd kill for a lesbian retelling of The Nice Guys.

Man, Thai fans are so disappointing. If Chinese fans got ahold of the Girl Rules novel, you'd bet the entire novel will be scanned and translated on Day One. Instead we got folks only posting about the sex scenes and gatekeeping the rest.
So Freenbecky both stopped working for Idolfactory (they didn't renew their contracts) and chose to go independent. I'm curious as to how this develops, as they aren't contractually obliged to uphold their "ship" any more, though it's probably in their interest to keep it up for now. They'll finish "The Air" and "Cranium" for Idolfactory but beyond that they are freelancers and who knows what they will do with that freedom. More GLs I hope.
