While it's true that YH started to publish a lot of hetshit recently, it doesn't change the fact it's a magazine made around yuri. We're not talking about the quality of the works, just that yuri is the main theme of the magazine, unlike the other magazines in the other pastebin.

The actual fuck? I don't follow magazines, I just read the manga I am recommended by people I trust, but that sounds straight up retarded. I remember reading that Yurihime used to occasionally have Yaoi one-shots in the olden days, but this sounds somehow even dumber.

I just don't get why a yuri magazine publishes hetshit? This is a magazine for a very particular niche, so what the hell is the point of baiting for inclusiveness? Some Shoujo or Shounen magazine having the occasional yuri one-off makes more sense than that.

You're making the same mistake they did with YH S and what the anime industry did regarding the western audiences. Just like the appeal of anime it's that its different from traditional western media, the appeal of modern yuri it's that it was always different from the usual shoujo and shonen romance manga. I hope YH it's just throwing anything to the wall to see what sticks because catering to the old shoujo/straight girl demographic will make them compete with actual shoujo magazines and lose costumers in favour of their growing competition in the GL market.

In 2017 YH started 10 new series in a single issue, only WataYuri and WataTen survived, with MiMiMix being the best one.
