Now that S2 is over, holy fuck what a mess, it was such a mixed bag, straying from the modern day fantasy and shoehorning magic/Wuxia shit, introducing someone like Yixuan that could easily fix any problem in minutes in the first chapter and have her conveniently disappears afterwards until the cast is about to get killed, the Exaltists being saturday morning cartoon level of punching bags despite the story treating them as legit threats to the point you think Sarah is actually retarded for believing she could succeed at all, etc.And speaking of her, all the buildup and mystery surrounding her since pretty much the beginning of the game only for her reasoning for all of it was a blink and you miss it 'the government/military betrayed me' and the Creator she was trying to get at wasn't even the correct one how much of a shitty writer you have to be for a villain who you introduce in the following chapter to have a better plan, motivation, backstory and have it have a tragic endingAlso you could tell they were really desperate for players to like YSG, all the cliches are there like being the perfect wife and meeting the proxy during their childhoodAnd to top it all off the leaked characters look like trash, like they ditched the mix between stylish and fanservice to go full goonrant over

The worst ones of the women are Yaoguang and Pearl, but Amphoreus also had a lot of shit or meh designs (Tribbie, Castorice, literal pink Barbara, generic thief, generic european scholar, DH with barely any changes) and most didn't even look greek. Jane's the femme fatale final boss, Cissia's the low level crook who gets beat up in the opening scene to establish the protagonist.

I have to ask in ZZZ is there any point in picking the sibling? From what I see they are basically the same person when you play. If you pick Belle Wise is always there. If you pick Wise Belle is always there. They are both the store manager. They are both together the Proxy. They both share the same past and skills. Hell they both even appear in cutscenes. What is the point of making us pick one of them, especially since I heard you can swap between them while running through the city? They could've at least have made the experience of playing as each sibling different. Like Belle's friendlier personality helped you bond with characters faster or something.

Though for the idols I'd blame that on translating idol culture into the game so Wise would probably get stabbed on the street if in-universe if he touched them lol.
