Yuri demo spotted in Next Fest.https://store.steampowered.com/app/3693310/Magical_Thief_Silky/Basically big titty anime girl Megaman. You play as two protags and if one faints you can yuri them back to life with the other one, kinda like the revival mechanic in the Gal Guardians games. If the demo's anything to go by the girls are pretty casually gay too.
>>4568868I find it odd that that game page just calls them all friends. Might be a joke in itself, because it is parodying Saturday Morning cartoons.
>>4568868Looks cool.
>>4568868>that characterNope. Just nope. I can't, in good conscience, play this game.
I am about to finish Zero Parades. This is an extremely missable secret call with Melita in the middle of the night. She is drunk. She needs to be comforted. Can only get this if you had personal convos with her before and if you have gotten the asssignment relevant info without reaching the point of no return. She will call Hershel at night when she goes to sleep.Goddamn... this... this is really strong. There is no doubt in mind. Their feelings are mutual. Which makes it all the more painful. "Draw her close""Adoration in every hit"Personalism is the most important skill if you are looking for love...
>>4568930Welp...
>>4568938Tragic yuri that is... The most painful kind.

Tales of Seikyu is pretty nice. Having a 3D farming/town sim with a non-chibi/moe artstyle and actual artistic vision is pretty rare.
>>4568868>the thing floating next to monocle girlIs this the mythical yuri whale I’ve heard so much about? It’s… smaller than I expected.
>>4568868Was skeptical due to the porn game esque portrait always on the side of the screen, but it was actually a really solid sidescroller, and very gay. Even disregarding the revive mechanic, they rub against eachother and tell eachother they love eachother quite frequently. if you talk to Io in their little base enough, theres a scene that plays where both the protags take turns kissing her and they all tell eachother they love eachother. and the little fish kiss eachother too. It's surprisingly cute, will definitely buy the full game once it comes out. Also Silky's RPG charge shot kinda trivializes the bosses, didn't even need to use any of the beans or other skills. Wish they'd change the key binding menu though, you cant change the jump and melee buttons without also changing the accept and cancel options, and they take effect immediately while youre still in the menu for some reason.also i noticed a SF2 easter egg on the first stage, right after you exit the subway. if you jump over the barrels on the left of the exit and destroy the car, a little dude runs up and says 'oh no my car'Thanks for the recommendation
>>4568945First picture makes me think their dynamic is going to be like Sakura and Tomoyo
>>4568946i thought it was going to be like that too, but it seems pretty mutual from the demo
>>4568948well other than the mutualness or lack thereof

Add to that there is a bonding mechanic with party members and I believe we got us a yuri RPG.Potential Yuri Content:https://store.steampowered.com/app/1706510/Songs_of_Glimmerwick/Academy/Life sim with female protag. These are almost always going to have romance with the cast eventually. No guarantees, but it's very possible. I mean.... witches. Witches are gay.https://store.steampowered.com/app/4815640/A_Rhapsody_In_Steam/"And the Hero always sits across from you. Your relationship will evolve over the course of the journey—from two strangers thrown together, to something deeper."The hero, as far as I can tell, is a girl. And so is the protagonist. 1 + 1 = yuri.
>>4568981Confirmed Yuri Content:https://store.steampowered.com/app/2986980/Enigma_Heart/A 2D pixel RPG with "sapphic romance at its heart". https://store.steampowered.com/app/4240070/_/"Her Era As Sect Leader"So surprisingly... this game mentions that in this world women can have children with other women and you are free to have children with and marry whoever you want. It's a sect leading sim, where continuing your legacy through heirs is important, but it's also a female focused world, where all women can be martial artists or leaders. There seem to be optional written sex scenes too.I know this game really looks like one of those generic Chinese hetero Cultivation games, but it is surprisingly yuri relevant.Unfortunately they say nothing about English localisation yet.https://store.steampowered.com/app/4453190/Targeted_By_Her/This says all of these are girls.... I will just have to take the dev's word for it. Threatens with yuri too.https://store.steampowered.com/app/4076560/fox_girl_next_door/Yuri fox girl game by the yuri fox girl game dev. Talk about a hyperfixation.Potential Yuri Content:https://store.steampowered.com/app/3755350/Alice_Nation/Alice in Wonderland is becoming a yuri aesthetic in gaming, huh? Cast of several cute girls, one who literally wears a lily in her hair. And the game description says "Dive into the town's web of love and conflict". Could be platonic love of course, who knows?https://store.steampowered.com/app/3318210/Doomed_Otaku/"Relationships can be romantic, professional, or even toxic rivalries. Even characters who already have partners can be your target! Build connections in various ways and see what lies at the end of each path."There are several important women in this game... maybe they are options. Though this seems like the kind of game that wants you to collect all endings and see all its stuff, including the het. If a true ending is locked behind that, it would suck.
>>4568981>https://store.steampowered.com/app/2176650/Shards_of_the_Heart/RPGmaker and AI... i guess beggers cant be choosers
>>4568984Oh you have no idea how much AI trash I have been skipping in my dive as is. I'm trying to focus on the ones that at least edit the AI art to look somewhat human drawn. Not to mention how many devs clearly just use the image generated output without modifications yet lie about how they "heavily and manually went over it personally to redraw it". Using that crap as a "basis" has been a popular excuse lately.
>>4568983>https://store.steampowered.com/app/4453190/Targeted_By_Her/>This says all of these are girls....Do we trust the dev that named the MC 'name' and mojibakes, and can't spell 'mindset'? I say we don't. If you said this was a yaoi game I'd believe you.

Love is mentioned as one of the themes, but there is no info on pairing up any units yet. Something to keep an eye on.https://store.steampowered.com/app/4139980/Magical_Hellhound_Lust/All enemies are succubi... protag is a woman. So....https://store.steampowered.com/app/4413070/Red_Chat_Ritual___TSUMIMI_TIME/This is a strange one. Technically you play some random person behind a keyboard watching a streamer, but you can influence her decisions and path to find out what happened to her vanished partner, your former oshi. The game page and context sort of seem to imply Tsumimi has heavy feelings for the vanishe Mashiro and is somehow involved with her disappearance. I'm reading yandere tendencies into this.
>>4568981>https://store.steampowered.com/app/3874910/Watamari_Part2__A_Fake_Marriage/What's with the Hoshimachi Suisei lookalike? The girl in the image not only has the haircut but the ribbon too.
>>4568988The dev would have had to get every single pronoun wrong, including the one in the title of the game, somehow mistype the sentence that says "every character in this is female" and misspell yaoi as yuri.Stranger things have happened... or maybe it's just one of those "fujo yuri" artists that some weirdoes on this board seem to pretend are brilliant and revolutionary.
>>4568981>>4568983Added doomed otaku, alice nation, and watamari 2 to the wishlist. Thanks>>4568988One of the images has the glasses brunette in a wedding dress, but they all still look like dudes, probably just chock it up to a devs fetish. The glasses girl also isn't listed with the other characters in the description so i assume that's the player character and "name" is just to show that it's (you).
>>4568990This iteration of WataMari has several couples in it. So a Vtuber reference wouldn't be completely impossible, but I don't see it.
>>4568992>imageThat's way past 'draw a boy, call it a girl' territory. There are shonen characters that would envy that muscle definition and shoulder width.
>>4568992>fujo yuri" artists that some weirdoes on this board seem to pretend are brilliant and revolutionary. This automatically makes this yuri game of the year
>>4569003Look, last year this game was released, which is 100% a yuri game too in which men are literally extinct. Some artists just have brain damage. Don't hold it against them.
>>4569010They literally look like men.
>>4569014Yes. That was my point.
>>4568992>>4569010Did they all get top surgery? there are zero breasts
>>4569019Flatties are a thing. But yeah, lots of fujos who try yuri can barely manage to draw women.
Downloading the demo out of sheer curiosity now
>>4568989>several blood related incest routesFinally the world is healing.
>>4569025Wincest is a yuri tradition!
>>4568989>Demented toxic yuri rhythm game focused on ear piercings for some reason...SOVL
>>4568983Worth mentioning about Enigma Heart is that it's a Zelda 2/Castlevania 2 clone. Pixel RPG is a bit generic and usually evokes RPGmaker like stuff. This is a more specialised 2D sidecroller.
>>4569021Which is weird cause it's usually the opposite. Like the femmest femme with massive honkers
>>4569042Lots of fujos exclusively draw men, to the point they never even practised drawing any girls. You might be thinking of the more moderate ones that draw standard stuff with girls in their stories. Maybe those who draw lots of hyper femme bishounen? The fujos I'm talking about are the origin of "yaoi hands", crane necks and shoulders as broad as luxury cruisers. Those who draw hyper retarded men tend to be incapable of drawing anything feminine at all.
>>4568989>you play some random person behind a keyboard watching a streamer, but you can influence her decisionsBoy, where have I heard that before?
>>4569047Dunno. There are several games like that popping up lately. I was quite interested in the one where you keep looping to prevent the streamer's many deaths. In that one you're her childhood friend though. But it isn't yuri, so I never brought it up.
>>4569045If only there were a reference for them to practice drawing girls. There could be one in the mirror, you never know.Nah, draw a boy, call it a girl, job's done.
What about:>Dissolution of the Silent Union>Ember Express
>>4568983>There seem to be optional written sex scenes too>You can even bind anyone to a secret room, "interrogate" them, lower their sanity, completely break their defenses, and make them obsessed only with you.And an optional Stockholm syndrome mindbreak mechanic. It will be neat checking this thing out in 5 years after some amateur MTL translation comes out in somebody's Discord server.
>>4569050Drawing yuri is the first step in the healing process
>>4569054Dissolution could be relevant. Nothing definitive right now though. Ember Express is literally labeled light yuri by the devs, so yeah it's on topic.https://store.steampowered.com/app/4522410/Ember_Express/
>>4569055There is SO MUCH text in this. I can't see any world where this is getting an official translation. And MTL would die with all these menus, sub-menus and extra boxes.
>>4568989>https://store.steampowered.com/app/4573270/_/English doko? I think I've seen translation work being done on X but it could be about another chinese vn, can't remember
>>4569025And like half of the Steam community threads of Average Student mention how OP thinks that the MC is treating her mother like shit. I feel like there's a potential for one more route...
>>4569068No English language support is announced as of right now.>>4569069Chinks are very touchy about honoring your parents and all that bullshit. So I'm not surprised.I'd not count on mother/daughter incest though. The rarest form of wincest.
>>4569041This looks a lot like they traced over the Zelda 2 sprites.

>>4568989>Magical Hellhound LustThey have an adult content patch here https://store.steampowered.com/app/4565310/Magical_Hellhound_Lust_In_Heat_edition/Not exclusively yuri.
>>4569071I have done zero research on this, but like, a lot of indie games start as romhacks or fan games. So it's not impossible. I'd say they more than did their part to improve the graphics and world to make it their own though.
Does anyone remember that detective game where the MC was a red haired woman that looked like Makima from CSM? Did that turn out to be yuri in the end?
>>4569075I can't access that. By not exclusively yuri you mean what exactly? Futa? Tentacles? Because the game seems to have no males.
>>4569078>Monstergirls, Monsterboys, Harem, Tentacles, Toys, BDSM, Anal, Feet, Futa, Muscular, Milfs, and much more!
>>4569079Oh. Well... that kinda sucks. At least tell me it's one of those games where you can choose whether you start an H-scene or not.If not, the 13+ version at least won't have any of that. But then the question is if it will have any yuri in the actual story.
>>4569080>Magical Hellhound Lust: In Heat edition replaces the charm mechanic of the base game by an improved, adult only, charm. Rather than convince your foes to lay down their weapons, they will now lay everything down and indulge themselves in some lusty fun with the titular Magebane Hellhound. It does seem like you can maybe opt out from content you don't want to see. But who knows really at this point?
>>4569082In most action focused porn games you usually have a mechanic where you down an enemy and can then decide to bang them via a button press. That means you can select what content you wanna see yourself. But this seems to be a more Hades style roguelite, so I dunno.Alright, keeping this on the see and wait pile, because at least she CAN fuck the succubi.
>>4569082There's a "18+ options" (separate from the "18+ content" option) that hopefully is a menu where you can enable or disable the things you want or don't.
>>4568930These dialogues I see in the snips are masterfully written, huge whoa.I hope the tards trying to bomb and cancel the game get BTFO, because that would be simply unjust.Stupid armchair commie drama crusaders, and I say that as leftist.
>>4569097The issue isn't related to any commie stuff, it's just people being butthurt over their favorite writers getting fired. ZA/UM's management are assholes, but like I care if the games they release are good. Too many shitty game companies out there to try and be principlied only when it suits them.Despite it all, ZP has good reviews by critics and on Steam. The quality overcomes the flame war. But obviously it will never be as big as other Disco-likes with the major boycott by the people who would usually have eaten it up.That being said... I really hope there is going to be a sequel. I need more of this particular brand of story. Hershel is a really good protagonist and the fact that this game has all these well written gay moments (on both sides mind you, but for us only the lesbian stuff matters) makes it stand out compared to stuff like Esoteric Ebb. We are kind of spoiled though, because of all the splintered Disco dev projects, the majority will feature a female protagonist too. So even if ZP had not delivered, we would still have had back-ups with Hopetown and Tangerine Antarctic.
>>4569036You know who these two look like?
>>4569100No idea. You tell me.
>>4569099>The issue isn't related to any commie stuff, it's just people being butthurt over their favorite writers getting fired.I legit saw tards posting things like demanding the studio to "give back the game to the devs" and shit like that, that's pure armchair communism.Note that I say that despite working similar job with similar uncertain prospects and I am even owed significant money I will never see from a bankrupt past publisher - new owner was "nice" to take me in together with the content I wrote and never was paid for, which they display on their site while telling me the debt they can't do anything about.Side note: I also barely witnessed last years of communism in Europe and that makes me certain: NEVER AGAIN. Left is good, social policies and state are great, but I have barely more respect for certain brand of clueless dangerous leftist idiots than I have for MAGA (which is zero).>Too many shitty game companies out there to try and be principlied only when it suits them.Exactly.
Hmm, 3177 all-time peak (post-launch) on Steam. Wish it managed more.
>>4569077For some reason I thought of Night Cascades when I read this post even though I never played it because it's on my wishlist and steam keeps sending me emails when shit goes on sale, but when I went to the store page the MC has short black hair and the only thing she has in common with Makima is that they both wear suits, but just in case this is what you were looking for:https://store.steampowered.com/app/1743080/Night_Cascades/

>>4569463Troll confirmed and dismissed. At least the mask is off now and anyone with a brain will ignore your BS.
>>4569387Crymelight by Fuuryu, the Crymachina devs is Alice themed. And some people hope "Alice at the end of her life" will have yuri too.I think the daughter from Magical Princess is also clearly Alice in Wonderland inspired. She is even called Alice.
>>4569465All AI gen shit is garbage, not just that one. If you people want to support this crap, don't do it here, there's a reason so many people and communities on the internet are sick of this crap.
>>4569461I like my horror eldritch. Moonlight Peaks looks too clean and "humanly friendly" for my taste even though the character creator wins here by a landslide. But there is something very precious of two girls falling in love when the other one isn't aware underneath that facade lurks a potential cosmic horror.
>>4569468Neverway is probably right up your alley then. Even has a defined female protag, no gender selection. No customisation either though, by the same principle. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2318330/Neverway/Also comes out this year. October too. Appropiate.
>>4569465I think using AI for character dialogue portraits is a bit much.
>>4569471Meh. What's the difference between using it on portraits or CGs? I guess dev could have used their pixel art skills on the portraits, but that would not work for the style they were going for. Which is clearly X-Wing/Wing Commander inspired sci-fi. Alternative would probably have been to not have any portraits at all. Whether that's better or worse is up to you. Doesnt really make the game "AI slop" though.
>>4569470>NeverwayYes, absolutely yes. it's sitting on my wishlist since April waiting for the release. Can't wait for the IRS eldritch lady to come knocking.

>>4569773>I prefer actually owning the games I buyOh pleaseI bet you use Galaxy and don't even have the GOG installers downloaded on your external / NAS arrange
>>4569839I download every installer for every game I buy on GOG. That's the whole point, having the .exe on your HDD/SDD and not requiring a store front to play. Doesn't matter if some asshole dev delists their game or tries to permanently destroy it or pushes some game-breaking patch, I got the unalterable files on my hardware. It's like buying a game on a disc, but without the annoying disc part. And GOG actually gives enough of a damn to patch their games so they stay functional on modern systems, have all the good fan patches integrated and are modding compatible. Steam and Epic would never bother.Sure, that means GOG has a lot less games than the others, but they also don't block countries from buying adult games for no damn reason. If I want to buy Hiniepop uncensored I can. On Steam I could be region blocked.
>>4569841>Steam would never botherMy gut feeling says, Steam is quietly building something in the background for exactly that purpose and for a long while.Source: Faith in Steam
>>4569860They has 20+ years to do that and didn't. They have been completely compliant with any dev and big publisher to delist or erase games from their store permanently. They are too lazy to enforce age verification, so they just region block people from countries with laws requiring such for adult content. Steam Workshop is an extremely undercooked feature that barely works half the time and is way less useful than any proper modloader. They literally sell games to you that cannot work on modern system without an off-site patch.I have seen literally zero indication from Valve that they are going to fix any of these issues.
>>4569862>They are too lazy to enforce age verificationif they did you would bitch about them kneeling to draconian age verification laws and how being forced to engage on face scan or oresenting an ID is abuse You GOG users are massive drama bitches.
>>4569862Laws and regulations don't stay the same for 20 years. Failure to comply to sudden changes is costly. Finding a workaround for all sides is near impossible. Age verification is a pandora's box on its own. I see the overhaul Steam attempts, succeeds or fails on. It's not perfect by any margin and I don't claim it to be but I definitely can see the good they are trying to do despite the circumstances.>TL;DRYou are talking to a fanatical Loyalist.I'd buy St. Gabe another yacht if I could.

Being better than the Epic Store isnt a reason to be lazy. And GOG simply cant carry the same volume, so in the end I gotta rely on Steam sometimes anyway. But there is no downside to buying all the games you can on GOG.
>>4569873>They arent doing shitYou do you. I see different, imho.Personally don't use the Workshop that much and you put that as a strong point in your argument. Why is the Workshop undercooked? Which Yuri games suffer from that? Those Yuri games that don't have the devs put an uncensored patch version for their game on the market for free to pass the censorship laws for specific regions. That could certainly increase the usage and following tickets / requests for the support.
>>4569876This word salad doesnt even make sense... and I won't bother writing you a manual on why the Steam workshop sucks ass (common knowledge by literally any modder).
>>4569878Sorry, my bad for only being a lazy consumer. This has seemingly declassified me to second class. Ignorance Is Strength or some such.
For the record there are plenty of games on Steam with absolutely no DRM of any kind. Not that GoG is bad, but just saying.
Why are Japanese devs so averse to modding? I see the difficulties the Kasumi mod guys had to go through and it's insane, they had to fight the game tooth and nail at every step to get anything done.
>>4569886Persona 5 is made with an engine developed in-house, so the Kasumi modders had to start from scratch. Modding a game made with Unity or the Unreal Engine is only comparitively easier because modders have been working with these engines for years and already have plenty of tools that can be reused from one game to the next.
>>4569886Most just do not care or can't afford to care, they make the game using whatever engine/approach they decide is optimal and that's it. It's usually only a consideration for sandboxes or some RPG.

>>4570065Yeah the bond system is a mixed bag, because they are all seemingly bisluts. There is one shot of a blushing female party member giving a gift to a female NPC at least. As long as it plays well I'm not too fussy about the level graphics.

Oh well.Implied Yuri Content:https://store.steampowered.com/app/2708230/Dungeon_Tells/The protag is a succubus whose goal it is to recapture the heroes who try to keep escaping. >>4570177As a small warning to Staffe Retro, the devs are really into the "pleasant lie vs bitter truth" theme, as all cases in its prequel end with fucking over somebody innocent or jailing a sympathetic murderer to the point the MC grows disillusioned towards searching for the truth in the epilogue of a detective game. And it already pulled the MC's implied love interest is actually the bad guy card, so I would be wary of playing the second part and expecting anything of value.
>>4570194Dunno, if they did that whole shebang already, wouldn't it make more sense for the new game to follow different themes? Obviously the trailer implies some dark fuckery, but could be that it has a different thesis statement. Also doomed yuri isn't exactly unheard of 'round here.

>>4570501No. Konno Yuuki barely even knew Kirito existed. She had so much pull that she almost turned Asuna, the male self-insert protag's literal girlfriend, towards the gay side. I wonder if there was some subtle messaging there....
>>4570504As a child, when Yuuki survives (in another continuity) she is nothing more than another bitch in Kirito's harem.>>I wonder if there was some subtle messaging there....There is nothing subtle about it, Kirito is the center of that universe, that is the only rule, even the antagonists love him.
>>4570506>an AUMeaningless point. There can be infinite AUs in which all the bitches are lesbians who dont give a shit about Kirito too. We're talking canon here.Clearly you aren't particularly good at picking up on subtleties either, or you would have figured that I made a joke about gay people dying of aids being the message of the story.
>>4570504>she almost turned Asuna, the male self-insert protag's literal girlfriend, towards the gay sideHad she succeeded SAO would've been almost watchable. Cosmic Wheel of Sisterhood is currently on sale for a pretty low price but unfortunately I'm not sure I'd ever be able to recommend it. While I think making tarot cards is fun and the game has potential, the "good" ending can only be achieved by pulling a pretty out of character move. If you lock yourself out of the ending, the only option is to restart from the beginning with no ability to skip text/dialogue
>>4570600Skill issue
>>4568988>tags: Manly_girlsThey are kinda cute but yeah, whoever made the game has a peculiar type. Not nearly the borderline/really weird stuff that gets posted in the "tomboys" thread on /U/, these are totally fine. Looks kinda cute to me.
>>4570577I don't know what the hell you're talking about, I'm one of the people who hates SAO the most, to the point that I also hate AW, both are garbage and that's not an opinion. My point was that GGO doesn't have that much relation to SAO, but it still has more influence than necessary. The second problem is that GGO turned out not to be such a good product in the long run, better than SAO (which isn't much of an achievement) but not outstanding beyond that. SAO in general is simply an incompetent series that satisfies the bare minimum, and a literal SAO self-insert game isn't going to be the exception.
>>4570601The game constantly says that one person having all the control is bad! so why are all of the good endings locked behind you not only sabotaging your friends efforts for election but eating your previous leader?
>>4570605You tried to both dismiss that a spin-off exists that works without Kirito in the same universe by saying it's totally unrelated and doesn't count as a SAO thing, while also claiming it is totally influenced by Kirito and thus somehow all about him to defend your stupid fucking thesis. Basically you are contradicting yourself to cover your ass from both directions, but you already lost. So stop squirming bitch.
>>4570606Sounds like your idea of what constitutes the "best ending" is just flawed.
>>4570796It's pretty universally agreed upon that the utopia endings are the only ones that are good in all of the rest you spend the rest of your eternal life in exile even if you give your coven up and it's taken over. The other ending has you sacrifice your girlfriend so
>>4570595I love the concept of this game in theory, but the generic evil empire of darkness as the main antagonist bores me to tears.
>>4568930I finished Zero Parades. So it actually has an open ending, so there is no pay-off to the yuri yet. Just to get that out of the way. It leaves the option entirely possible as Hershel survives and can return to the Opera HQ and Melita, but the game ends with some uncertainty as heavy La Luzian interferences interrupts the call on their escape boat. The finale was really good and I am mostly happy with my results. I did not get the best spy grade, because I didnt make a bunch of evil choices, but the grade does not really reflect how "good" you did, but rather how much you appealed to what the Opera wants from you. This ending really gives me a feeling that there will be a sequel or some kind of continuation. It really feels like it needs one more act to get the final pay-off.One final note about the final mission. During one of the exchanges with the main antagonist after your squad is capured, he will offer to read Cascade's tarot cards. If you let him you can pick various options, so you are bound to miss some. One of the cards is The Track, which he exaplains in detail means Hershel is loved by "authority", which is represented by one figure. Even the main antagonist thus acknowledges that Hershel is in love with her controller, Melita, but that their romance can't pan out because she will die soon. Of course she didn't die, because I succeeded.... but I think it's incredibly that even this situation the game still pushes that romance. It's also a totally missable detail, that might even change depending on your choices, as I replayed the finale after doing some choices differently and the cards actually changed.Good game. Hope it sells enough to give us more.
>>4570816To be fair, the previous two Brigandine already had a playable story faction arguably being a worse option for the world than the generic black-themed expansionist empire (that role will probably be played by that mad scientist dude this time), with the second one painting the empire in somewhat sympathetic light, so I can understand going back to basics. Still, no need to name the main bad guy fucking Chaossolus.
>>4570821The good narrative conflicts in these kinds of conquest campaign games come from rival nations and inner turmoil, which I assume you still get from the rival nations here. A generic evil aggressor empire is just a bit lazy.Though I am also pretty bored of Fire Emblem's favorite twist... the dark evil empire was secretly manipulated or usurped by demons/cults and that's why they are all evil. An evil empire that just wants to conquer the world for normal reasons like greed or lust for power is almost novel again I guess.

>>4571106It's an old rhythm game gacha with a end-of-the-world story where two girls explore the world and history, called Arcaea. The art in the OP is not very representative of what the game actually looks lilke.
>>4571118It's not explicitely yuri from what I remember, but most of the art for the game is the two main girls being shipped. Also some other yuri ships.
>>4568770Which Final Fantasy lends itself most to a yuri rewrite do you think? To me gender-flipping a male protag seems like way too much work, while also feeling lazier somehow. That's why I wouldn't touch the FF7 Remake mod that turns Cloud into fem!Cloud. Then you got a couple of FF games with female protags or maybe a side-pairing that could be made more canon? I haven't played them all, so I don't really know.FFVI has Terra.FFXIII has Lightning.FF:Zero has a female protag on the cover art?FFXII and XIV are MMOs, so you can be whoever you want, but that wouldn't work for a rewrite...For side-pairings, obviously Aerith x Tifa is popular. But making them work in the remakes would be way too hard. In the original FFVII there might be more wriggle room?Fang x Vanille in FFXIII is almost canon already.I don't remember, but FFX-II has a popular yuri pairing too, I think. Anything else?
>>4570487Webcomic kept baiting me with Violet and the Kinosaki sisters, so the game has to make up for that
>>4571131You've posted the answer already. Terra and Celes are arguably the co-protagonists of FF6, and it should be relatively easy to redirect Celes' romance subplot toward Terra instead of Locke. On the technical side I also imagine it's a lot easier to mod than latter entries.Fuck, why didn't I think of that 10 years ago when I had more spare time than I knew what to do with?
>>4571169From what I remember of FFVI there wasnt that much going on between them aside from the funny confession glitch. I'm by no means a programmer, so I dont know how exactly you would swap out characters in certain scenes. I heard old SNES games have some weird grid thing on thr cartridge.... but of course one would use the emulated digital release anyway. As long as we can extract the script somehow it would be easy ro rewrite at least.

The long and short of it is you play as a girl, and have to learn kissing techniques from 8 maidens scattered around the world in order to reseal a great evil (who is another cute girl). The ending is ||about redeeming the evil girl with your magical gay kisses.||

Severely coping:Moonlight Pale From the Kickstarter:"Moonlight Paleis a 2D hand-drawn style Survival Horror game set in a late 1800's female seminary featuring full voice acting, gorgeous frame by frame animation... inspired mostly by Silent Hill f, Signalis, Rule of Rose, and horror RPG Maker titles" Two of the VAs are from little goody two shoes https://store.steampowered.com/app/4624650/Moonlight_Pale/

https://store.steampowered.com/app/3429340/Bittersweet_Blossoms/Reminder that this came out. Somethin nobody seems to bring up is that this is a sequel to Blackberry Honey, ebi-hime's most popular yuri VN.
Just so ya know the CCP strongarmed Steam into blocking the LGBT tag for all chinks, so they can neither add it to their games or search for it. So if some chinks dare make yuri games they cant tag it. You'll just have to hope fem protag tag gets you there.Oh and while we shit on chink retardation, they literally closed all arts degrees at their universities because "AI makes that degree irrelevant". Now arts is just a side-course on technical degrees. Every time I think these anti-yuri fuckers can't get worse they somehow surpass expectations. Fuck the CCP.
>>4572774>character limitWell, that's going to be a problem for future us. But that one is fine too.https://rentry.org/g5wucu9c#witch-lilliesAre you going to update the ones that got the 1-year-dunce-hat?
>>4572035Game was completely finishable from the beggning, with all features they promised. Everything else was extra. Not a scam.
>>4572784Dunno, not my paste. But I bet OP can add a line about not being updated.
>>4572783Isn't community tagging still a thing? So the community won't be able to flag Chinese games too? But if they are able can they falsely flag a game?
>>4572789I dont know if community tags work, but the chinks at least can neither add it nor see it. I assume Steam would understand their own systems and disable that feature for chink games.>can the community falsely tag a gameThey do all the time. All the major games have the "Hentai" tag because of "funny" trolls.
>>4572790>disable that feature for chink games.Or make a two tag system. The one from the devs and the one from the community, whereas the devs could adopt a tag or the communities evaluation could be questioned. When a censor regulation claims a game for a tag because of the community, the accuser should be made to provide evidence for this claim. After the claim is proven true, either the dev adopts the tag, censors or has to be region blocked for their game. But life isn't that simple. I pray the Chinese find a change of heart.
>>4572791Your solution is more stupid and will just lead to yuri games getting censored or blocked dumbass.Just not having the tag available on chink games is the less egregious outcome. They are still pathetic for doing it, but at least they didnt block all games that have the tag from being bought yet.
>>4572668>RimworldGood choice. Just make sure to look into how to make female colonists capable of reproduction. The Biotech DLC is the most useful, because it has tube babies and stuff. Otherwise there are steam workshop mods to cheat out stuff. Good thing is you can pick your colonists genders from the start and dont need to allow any male travelers to join (tho making them work slaves and letting them die is always an option).
>>4572620So I looked into SteamDB, but unless I start a darn Discord, I dont see this working out. Most I can do is link to the SteamDB page of every game individually so you can always see if its currently on sale. That will take away the point of immediately seeing the discount percentage, but it would make every game trackable year-round. If anons prefer that, then I dont mind adding SteamDB links.
>>4572842I don't think that would be appropriate. Especially considering the future character limit and the most important aspect imho is the direct link to the sales page. Had hopes you could easily add the current sales percentage to your paste instead of manually updating it every year. This is an admirable amount of work. This is a compliment.
>>4572846Steam has a native Widget embed feature, which would technically solve all my problems, but for some reason the code doesnt work on rentry. I dunno if it would work on any other paste either, but rentry is usually the most advanced one in that regard, so probs not

>>4573024https://www.thegamer.com/steam-china-lgbtq-game-tag-ban/https://www.independent.co.uk/tech/china-ai-university-arts-degree-b2995940.htmlBy the way, there are thousands of sources on both of these things. These are just random 5 second google searches. In fact I KNOW several Chinese users affected by this. It's also not a surprise. LGBT games have been banned in Russia recently (or rather it has recently started to be seriously enforced) and Steam complied. ebi-hime, one of the most famous yuri VN devs, recently got publically chided by Steam for making her VNs available in Russia. It is very likely that this blocking of the tag will not be the end for Chinaland. They have so many anti-LGBT laws in media already. It's only a matter of time before LGBT tags get region locked in China. When that time comes, we will see how chinks handle it. Because most China made LGBT games being sold on Steam right now are already circumventing the law. But if their main playerbase becomes unable to actually buy or play the games, we will definitely see a decrease in Chinese yuri games. And they will most likely self-censor to avoid using the tag or being flagged.
>>4573023Yeah? What?
>>4573053There are two scenes in the game that felt like they had supernatural elements to them but they're never clarified on or talked about again after they happen. It's good but it's just an odd choice.

It's textbook deflection tactics. Attack the form of the message or the person who delivers the news, while ignoring the news itself.
>>4573283What do chinks even get from lying here? Is this some kind of "ban decadence at home, spread it to le ebil west" play?
>>4573288/u/ has a china defender problem, had it for years. 4chan in general to a degree. They are trying really hard to always portray China as super good and that all facts that make them look bad to the crowd here are lying or exaggerating. When it comes to /u/ I even consider it trolling. You can tell when they say BS like China is the greatest yuri producer and shit. If you tell them about the anti-LGBT laws, the way yuri artists and writers were legally and socially harmed or stomped on, how it gets worse year by year, they will pretend you are just making shit up because you "hate China". Not understanding that I hate China because their government does these things. Once Chinks ban LGBT games on Steam these defenders will say some shit about how you can easily get the games on other platforms etc.
>>4573297Some people don't understand censorship very well. They think that, because they can access some censored content, nothing is being censored after all. Some even use Bilibi allowing some yuri works or Hoyo doing yuri scraps to say "see, you are exaggerating".
>>4573309Dude... you lost. This shit is all over the Chinese steam community. You are doing zero research and are trying desperately to distract from reality be railing on some irrelevant article. That's why you sound like a defensive CCP drone. Also trying to pretend the anti-LGBT laws somehow arent bad for lesbians and yuri because of your tunnel vision on m*ales is typical trolling. Just so seethrough.
If you try to access certain tags on MAL from certain countries' IP ranges you just get 404. No, that's not local censorship agencies fucking with your traffic, they can't force some specific page of an HTTPS website to return 404, that's something that MAL does to comply with local regulations. Steam can hide any content in any region for any reason. Licensing issues, publisher decisions, exclusivity deals (specific products being available in specific regions only on specific non-Steam stores), local regulations related to drugs (even fictional ones like Schedule 1), LGBT, and fuck knows what else.Steam China is kinda its own thing which is significantly different from normal Steam.I don't know why some people find these things so hard to believe, especially when you can easily verify them using a shitty free proxy. Well, the Steam China part might be a bit harder to verify from the outside because it probably requires a working Chinese phone number or some other form of dystopian digital ID shit.
>>4573297I say that in regards to the authors not the country. Cause if we were to go by both that would be Thailand since it's now legal for women to marry each other
>>4573389It's not an argument it's an explanation. I like a lot of baihe but am well aware that they treat lesbians like hot garbage. The only saving grace is that baihe is so unpopular compared to their bl equivalent that none of the authors (that we know of) got arrested for the creation of say heart of thorns. High bar I know
>>4573404While I sort of see your point in BL being so much bigger and thus drawing more attention, yuri is literally the worst possible thing for the Chinese government politically. They have an overpopulation of males and not enough women. So displaying women who date other women and thus don't placate men and make children for them is considered the worst possible thing. Ideologically, yuri is the number one enemy on the government's anti-LGBT agenda. We are lucky that the CCP is really stupid and cares more about their "macho male pride" being hurt by being shown gay men for them to pay equal attention to lesbians most of the time. Also several yuri authors (comics or games, doesn't matter) have been taken in by the police to be interrogated etc. and then been fired from their jobs. Don't even imagine what that does to their social credit score.Russia is a step above, as they have recently declared that any LGBT member is part of a terrorist organisation so they can have some scapegoat to point fingers at as their economy and government collapses. But I imagine China is not that far behind in these measures, considering they already declared homosexuality a mental illness years ago and try to scrape their media off it.I'd expect the amount of Chink yuri games to heavily decrease soon and mostly be done by Chinese speaking places like Taiwan that are not under CCP control, or by Chinese people in exile/immigrant populations.

The devs of Virgi vs. the Zodiac and Keylocker are making a vampire Metroidvania with Elizabeth Bathory as the protag. Tried the Echoes of Aincrad demo... they dont let you customise your character in it, so I just have to make assumptions. Generic self-insert protag has even less personality than the usual cardboard. You can basically only choose to nod or shake your head.Everyone in the demo acknowledged protag was a dude, so I have to assume the same will be true for the female protag version. You can do quests with partners, which are fully fleshed out NPCs. I kinda doubt there will be a romance mechanic now that I've seen the basic systems. This game is probably an easy skip unless you are really good at goggling.

>>4574837The concept and inspirations were interesting enough to me so really it just needs to be good yuri at this point
Got around to playing the Tomomi DLC for Rolling Star and it was nice. Story is not really the focus of the game but there is definitely yuri and it was fun to see Tomomi again.
>>4575008Namedropping a bunch of famous games as "inspiration" doesn't mean a game will be good, let alone in the same level as its """"""inspirations"""""""""". In fact most Kickstarter scams / disappointments used that very tactic to drum interest. Also, there is something funny as naming Silent Hill F as one of its inspirations, when it's one of the most hated SH games.
>>4575054>Silent Hill F as one of its inspirations, when it's one of the most hated SH gamesTell me you are a /v/tard without saying it out loud. Only chuds and right wing morons hate SHf. The average gamer and reviewers loved it. Basically the main ""issue"" with it that is brought up by those moids is that "feminism bad" and "woke". Nothing else. For a girl daring not to want to marry some dude is the greatest offense to them. The only other nitpicks come from oldschool SH fans saying the game is too actioney and doesn't feel like a SH game. Not exactly hating it.Not that it matters to /u/s as the game has no yuri.
>>4575055>The average gamer and reviewers loved it.No they didn't. People bought it due to 2 remake putting them in the mood for more Silent Hill only to find a SH in name only, a straight line (a mortal sin when it comes to horror games) that forced players to replay the thing four times to barely understand what was going on while having one of the worst combat systems ever made. No one will tell you "I enjoyed playing SHF as much as I enjoyed the original trilogy". Having such an awful game as """"""inspiration""""""""' doesn't bode well for Moonlight Pale. But you're right. It doesn't matter how it plays as long as the yuri is good so we're arguing over nothing.
>>4575059>a bunch of subjective bullshit the /v/tard uses as an excuse to defend his hatred for the bad "woke" gameYou aren't fooling anyone lol
>>4575061>subjective bullshitYou clearly didn't play the game.
>>4573639Little update on this based on the demo.So despite the incredibly androgynous designs, the party isn't all female. The Priest and the Hero are actually male, as unbelievable as that seems with these designs. The Mage is indeed a girl at least (and pretty cute lolihag too). The Warrior... was a dude. But now he is in a girly doll body and seems to embrace it. But that's usually not good enough for /u/ purposes. I wouldn't even consider this proper genderbender. You can definitely pick a female protag and routes at least. At least she has a real personality and isn't a cardboard character. But no guarantee there will be romance. It's a survival roguelite after all.
>>4571131>To me gender-flipping a male protag seems like way too much work, while also feeling lazier somehow. That's why I wouldn't touch the FF7 Remake mod that turns Cloud into fem!Cloud.this reminded me of an older mod that did this for the original FF7, it apparently did some extra stuff beside swapping "Cloud" to "Skye" like totally changing the cross-dressing scene. I had just finished a replay of the original when I found this so I never tried it out but I was always interested in if they rewrote any of the romance stuff. Links if anyone is interested, it can probably be stacked with ninostyle mod to make it look prettier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijy_H7lIpUEhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ifb3idGi3FGv20NeXBlFuZx3mZJlTlPh/view
>>4575287If you ever find out whether the romances stay intact, we could definitely add this to the mod paste. Ironic how this ancient game runs into the same problem as the P5R mods though. Nobody can be bothered to edit the cutscenes. Even though in the last 7 years a FMV editor tool has been made.Should probably mention that this mod has its own mod list and incompatibilities to consider. It runs over the retranslation mod for example.
>>4575054Is it really necessary to always use good games as an inspiration? Can't you just say "I like this but let's make this better with Yuri."? I can see the inspiration and the wish to turn it Yuri themed with the Lilies and the all female cast. All that matters is if it delivers at the end.>>4575055What is it with you and directing any response into your own category instead of facing them head on? >>4575339>just mentioning /v/ to lead people to that board insteadYes, I want /v/tards to go back. Genius observation. Also off-topic discussions about non-yuri games go there. It's not hard to understand. If you really think me saying what kind of retarded right-wing chuds with brain damage lurk there is an advertisment you got some screws loose.
>>4575361Yes, I got a biggest screw loose. I think mentioning it every time you aim to circumvent an argument and direct an it to another board you act as an unnecessary advertisement for those instead of addressing the actual issue. And personally I wish you'd stop or find another way.
>>4575367There is no "circumventing the issue". You talk chud BS about off-topic games in this thread, you gotta leave. Simple as. But it's one of the best already.https://store.steampowered.com/app/1603500/The_Elevator_Game_with_Catgirls/Not sure how people feel about the twist, but it's a good mystery/puzzle/horror game.https://store.steampowered.com/app/4611140/Neofeud_2/Cyberpunk Point & Click Adventurehttps://store.steampowered.com/app/913740/WORLD_OF_HORROR/I am actually still waiting for the anons who mentioned it to tell me if it has actual yuri instead of just goggling... but it seems to be a really good mystery/horror game with lots of choices and a text based open world. Big update coming soon, maybe with relevant content. As for upcoming mystery games with a urban focus... there are some, but none of them are clear about whether they have yuri, so I don't want to spam them yet.
>>4575946Weiß Schwarz online doesn't have the HBR pack as an option.>Bandori isnt yuriif Uika and Saki isnt yuri to you, idk what to tell you
>>4575956>World of HorrorIt's not horror, it's uhh... horrible rogue-like. And there is a lesbian (1) as a playable character. No romance or any other shit, we just know because of some lore digging and one monster fights men and women differently and she is fought like a man. That's it.
>>4575958Sorry, but your standards are just very low.
>>4575960It's still about horror investigations though. Doesn't matter how the gameplay works. It also has the heavy urband/social aspect that Moonlight Syndrome has. And it's very popular because of its artstyle and obvious Junjio Itou inspiration.>one playable lesbian, but nothing yuri happensThen let's hope the big incoming update with the new plotlines, side-kicks and monsters adds some. Does explain the goggling talk at least. Anons shipping the lesbian protag with her female side-kick. Tale as old as time.
>>4575964That "sidekick" has random gender every playthrough.
>>4575966>can just reset till she's a girlWhich means it's a female side-kick.
>>4575961Standards has nothing to do with whether something is yuri or not. i dont even like ave mujica i prefer mygo
>>4575976Yes it does. Because your standard for yuri is too low. It's not textual yuri. There is neither romance, nor dating nor any kind of real yuri going on. Headcanons don't count.
>>4575979>Headcanons don't count. They absolutely do even when it makes you mad.
>>4575995Caught you. You keep using the same old bait, same old way. You always fail.
The lesbian char in World of Horror needs to be unlocked by getting an event about a missing girl, and i think you need the second pack active...?Also i 100% headcanon Kana as gay too, you haven't played WoH well if you don't roll around with Kana as a sidekick fighting Chtulus.
>>45687702 more days till the Steam summer sale ends. Get your games now. Check the sales paste if you want some pointers >>4572618
>>4575979>There is neither romance, nor datingNone of that is in HBR either if you want to be pedantic about it. There's shipteasing, death confessions, and yanderes; but none of it has led to a relationship/dating (and knowing Maeda it probably never will). Shiki fucks around, but that's only with nameless NPCs. Yuki has constant gay spergouts about Ruka, but its treated as a running gag most of the time.If not even Uika x Saki is "real yuri" in your eyes, then HBR shouldnt be either by your own standards>>4575998that posts not even mine, detective dumbass.
>>4576182Also bandori doesn't have Wakki which is a plus
>>4575891not yuri, not even all-girls cast, besides that it's a neat little story, didn't feel like my time was wasted
Mary Skelter is a trilogy right are all of them yuri?
>>4576253varying levels of yuri content, all with the same 2 characters>mary skelter nightmares: yuri is only in the postgame, otherwise you have to play with het characters for 95% of the game>mary skelter 2: yuri couple are main characters, yuri from start to finish, play this one first>mary skelter finale: yuri couple are side charactersRecommendation: Play Mary Skelter 2, then decide if you like the couple enough to play the other games where they aren't the main focus.
>>4576264Thanks. Do 1 and 3 really include het, as in a love story? I'm fine with non yuri but not when I have to witness the men having a romantic connection with the girls
>>4576253MK2 is yuri, but with finale you have to play through mandatory het while the MK2 girls take a backseat, and personally the gameplay in finale is more tedious. The het doesnt involve the MK2 girls so its tolerable though, but the games are long as hell so you're going to be with them for a while
>>4576281>MK2meant MS2, my bad
>>4576183But no Wakki means no redemption arc, which is a minus.
>>4576182When Bandori starts having out lesbians, confessions, mutual confirmed feelings, girls having sex with girls and events intentionally set up to romantically develop a ship, then you can pretend to have a serious comparison. Fucking hypocrite. >>4576183>still hung up on a single character in a 50+ character cast even being implied to bi even though they never actually went there>while Bandori is full of hetslutsFucking hypocrite x2
>>4576280Most of it is hetshit. Which duh, means guy and girl are romantically involved with each other.
>>4576300>lesbians, confessions, mutual confirmed feelingsuika x sakidont know how many times i have to point this out to youits as 'textual' as any confession in HBR by your own standards, don't move your goal posts now. Notice how you didn't bring up "relationships" this time after realizing there are none in HBR>girls having sex with girlsOnly implied with shiki offscreen with her nameless songbird NPCs (who eventually leave her). Shiki herself is part of a filler squad with very little screentime not even written by Maeda anyways, so calling that a keypoint in what makes the game yuri is a stretch. by that logic every show with a token lesbo comic relief character is yuri >events intentionally set up to romantically develop a shipi like the way you carefully picked your words to avoid saying "shipteases" to try and make it seem different from what bandori does. Sometimes the ships they setup are abandoned too, like the recent kozue event. By your own words, this isnt yuri to you if it goes nowhere>fucking hypocriteironic>implied to be bi even though they never actually went there>impliedi implore you to actually read 5.2 again. If Wakki's bisluttery isnt explicit in your eyes, then none of the other confessions in the game are either by your own standards. >while bandori is full of hetslutsnone of the girls in mygo/ave mujica are even implied to be het>fucking hypocrite ironic x2I love HBR and am all caught up on global, but you're being a huge disingenuous faggot by putting up a bunch of arbitrary requirements for why "my game is real yuri while your game isnt" that your own game also fails to meet, and you keep changing to better suit your agenda. They are both shipteasing games that will never commit to any of them in a way to satisfy your "textual" autism. Even the death confessions have plausible deniability that do not fit your own definition of what "real yuri" is. Just say you don't like Bandori>inb4 the Yuki CPR kiss
>>4576305JP still doesn't have a shiki event either for some reason. one of the few characters not to have one, and since she just got her SS3, she probably wont get one for a while either
>>4576305I am saying your trash het game literally has no yuri. While HBR does. You may make excuses by how it's just a side thing or how it's not important or how it's not "relationships" (ever heard of a slowburn before?), but these are actual things in the game. Bandori has zero (0) of that.Your example is stupid because there was no legitimate confession, no reciprocated feelings (that we know of) and no proof either of them is a fucking lesbian. Because Bandori doesn't actually give a shit about yuri. It isn't trying to be yuri, not even yuribait. It's basic waifu gacha shit. They wont do any content intentionally trying to set up a ship or ever have any intention of paying anything off.>I implore you to misrepresent chapter 5.2... like me!I won't. How is Wakki never actually confessing any feelings to the guy (who instantly dies after appearing btw) in any way comparable to Yukki having a full mental breakdown as she publically confesses her feelings for Ruka? Or Sharo outright stating she loves Ruka? Or Ruka confirming she isnt into guys? Or Shiki just outright having a harem of girls? Or Isuzu being called out on her romantic feelings for her sister repeatedly? The context is everything when it comes to Wakki and that stupid partof chapter 5.2 1. She had amnesia and was confused.2. She never confessed to the dude. She only made a bad joke in context of believing to be on a reality TV show.3. She only said, when clearly having a mental breakdown, that if she "had stayed an amnesiac and forgotten about her true self and past" in a different world she could have become that guy's girlfriend eventually. It might be hard to understand the point here, so let me spell it out. Maeda's theme in that whole thing was an "ordinary life" being torn away by the cruel world. In that moment Wakki idealizes a scenario that could have spared her the bad shit she is going through.I guess understanding theming and context is a bit much for you though.
>>4576308Maybe it's hard to write one for Shiki or they are saving it up for some specific plotline they haven't reached yet. Shiki was sort of the co-protagonist in the Yanagi event, which also set up her ship with Yanagi, which is treated more seriously than her harem.Shiki at least always has maximum lesbian energy in every event, episode or story part she appears in.
>>4576313Also, Wakki gets cured eventually if I recall.
>>4576317Well, nobody truly knows if this was an emergency reaction to people's pretty poor reception of the Wakki side-story in 5.2, but immediately after 5.2 finished, they released a Wakki memory episode where Higumin literally corners her into admitting she is attracted to women where Wakki swoons for Yuina and Tezuka (not Ruka though lol).
>>4576318>a Wakki memory episode where Higumin literally corners her into admitting she is attracted to womenGlobal must've missed it.
>>4576320It came out alongside her white suit style.
>>4576034Too bad you have to unlock her, but I think it's still cool that it's there at all. The fact that you have to uncover she is a lesbian by investigating lore is kind of on brand?I wishlisted the game for now. Hope that big update will finally give something that will push me over the edge.
>>4575939>>4575956In addition to these, there is an upcoming game that is likely to have yuri (made by a yuri artist)https://store.steampowered.com/app/4012490/MONOPHOBIA/This one actually literally has the 2D sprite style of Moonlight Syndrome, but with anime art. Including walking sideways and urban mysteries.
>>4575950Jeez that's a lot of romancable townsfolk. Is there any farming/city sim with more? Even Tales of Seikyu only has like... 16.
>>4573787https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fD1hLNcOsKQSick artstyle, legit good OST and a (sometimes) lesbian mythological vampire lady? Made by the devs who made two games focused on yuri (Keylocker had male LIs too, but there were like... 5 times the female LIs). Wish fucking listed.
>>4576349Elizabeth Bathory isn't mythological. Of course, the claims of her bathing blood are most likely myths but she was a real person.
>>4576313Bandori is yuri
>>457635399% of everything we know about her is made up. It's like Vlad the Impaler being Dracula, but 100 times more extreme. You can literally separate Dracula from his historical origins. Bathory may be based on the real person, but nobody actually talks about the real person. Just the vampire myth. I would compare the Bathory from pulp/horror fiction to Camilla in the way she has inspired and been drenched in vampire fiction....and in the Fate franchise she is a dragon girl for some reason.
>>4576355Hilarious cope. All of this is a platonic interaction, but then at the end you have the "I love you" and you clearly think that will work in your favor, but actually no. This is not a romantic confession. It's just another mistranslation of suki.Think about it more clearly instead of searching for scraps. If this was a romantic confession, why is there no reciprocation? Why are they not dating after this? Why is there never a reference to their romantic love at any point? She doesn't even react to the "confession" as if that is what it was. If you actually consider the context it becomes a moot argument.
>>4576356>...and in the Fate franchise she is a dragon girl for some reason. It's because she had a dragon fang in her family crest. Seriously. Liz is explicitly a bugged character who shouldn't exist, because IIRC the actual historical Elizabeth (in Fate) is supposed to be Carmilla, and Liz used the Moon Cell as a cheat device to create a duplicate entry in the Akashic records.
>>4576360>busty vampire hag replaced by cute dragon girlThe Squirrel lucked out.
>>4576358I'm sorry you put yourself in such an indefensible position that you have to cope with such a long-winded and meandering cry for help
>>4576370Oh sorry, many words hard for your brain? Not yuri, just cope. Sad for you. Hope you recover.
>>4576349>Wish fucking listed. You aren't going to buy it. When it releases you will limit ask>So, uh, has anyone played this? Is it yuri?
>>4576374Darn nee-san, do you have the lottery numbers too?

I wish someone would make a good touhou game that's yuri. All that I've found are visual novels that are poorly translated from Chinese or something
>>4576283>fighting game yuriAre any of the Arcana Hearts games yuri?
>>4576555Just subtext.
Is Signalis' gameplay yuri or is the yuri only in the "lore"?
>>4576560What?
>>4576565Like is yuri in the gameplay itself? Or just in the item description or codex or whatever? From the screenshots clips I've watched, the main character is always alone.
>>4576566Yes, it's just the lore. The objective of the game is for the protag to reunite with her wife.
>>4576556Tragic
>>4576581Lame
>>4576581There is also a very gay dance.
Remember the new Princess Maker game that went into EA like... a year ago? The one with the major controversy as the studio went bankrupt because the boss ran off with the crowdfunding money and they had to hand it off to another developer?Yeah apparently the news devs locked the fuck in. The game has been getting great reviews recently. I'm glad I kept an eye on it, becaause it seems that it will actually be pretty good on full release. Can't imagine it will be better than Volcano Princess or Magical Princess, but can never have enough games where I can raise a lesbian daughter.
>>4576593Okay just you wait, when I die and reincarnate as someone with actual talent, money, lots of free time and drive to do shit, I'll make a lesbian version of Resident Evil 4 with lesbians and alien robots where you can kiss your wife at any time you please, just for you!Look forward to it!
Mel Kishida just admitted that Blue Reflection was never intended to be yuri and Sun hetshit was the goal all alonghttps://automaton-media.com/en/news/blue-reflections-all-female-cast-was-actually-a-result-of-budget-restrictions-with-early-plans-for-the-series-involving-male-characters-too-according-to-devs/So if any of you intends to buy Quartet, don't.

>>4576604A few months ago I looked up Princess Maker because I wanted to see if there is anything new and it only had red reviews (mostly bad or what'cha call it). >>4576673I don't think you really understood what I meant.
>>4576674You literally said you doubt the legitimacy of the reviews, moron... that means you assume they are bots. Except anybody with a brain can tell bot reviews from human ones. Thus I told you to read them.

It's almost reassuring to see that the "thread police!!!" spammer is still around after all these years. He changed to shouting "hall monitor!!!" but other than that he still uses the same standard old bait. He has been quiet for so long. I wonder if he got bored of shitposting on /v/?

Is Deltarune really yuri now?
>>4577454On one route, yeah. But it's also furry so technically banned on the board.
>>4577484>one routeIs it like... the main route? I remember Undertale had like Pacifist and Genocide, but it was always clear that Pacifist was the "correct" route and that most people will get a Neutral ending first. >furriesTo be specific, furry PORN is banned here, so there is some leeway (look at the Sonic threads). We have recommended/discussed some furry yuri games before. Not that I'm particularly interested in it, but Deltarune is pretty big so it was still worth asking. With a male protag it's still not worth playing either way.
>>4577486>the main route? The 'normal route' as opposed to the 'weird route'. The game isn't really complete so nobody really knows what's gonna be what in the end.>a male protagThey/them, actually. Kinda like with Frisk. Kris could just as well be a really flat chick under those clothes physically.
>>4577487>nobody really knows what's gonna be what in the endI assume the rape route is not the canon one. I could be wrong, but Toby Fox has lost enough credibility as is. >they/themThat's lip service at best. Everyone talking about this game tells me it's clearly a dude and treated as one. Frisk was a lot more gender neutral actually, so you really did have fan interpretations going both ways. I never see anyone treat Kris as a girl. More likely it's some stupid genderfluid shit which is also not relevant to /u/s.
>>4577489Yeah, there's a reason I don't particularly care about Deltarune. The yuri isn't also what I'd call well written, but that's because Toby Fox just isn't good at writing stuff like this. He's better at all the strange horror stuff.
>>4577492I think Undyne/Alphys was kinda cute. A relatively refreshing take on the nerdy girl/butch athletic girl trope. It helps that the characters and game were really unhinged, so it was entertaining even when it was cringe.
>>4577493It was also a single and relatively short game. Deltarune's story has been released piecemeal over years, so one should expect better written relationships.
>>4577495What's the deal with the catgirls anyway? Always see yuri art of them.
>>4577454>>4577486It obviously depends on what you consider qualifying as a "yuri" game, but as of the latest chapter Susie x Noelle is 100% canon on the normal route. Mutual confessions, hands held, princess carried, heartbeats listened to, etc.Susie is part of the main party, and the chapter ends with her preparing to invite Noelle into the group for real. The secret evil route is indeed a trashfire, but Noelle and Susie are confirmed to still love each other on it, and it ends with Noelle and the MC just double suicidng anyway.
>>4577517>the game isn't finished>the evil route ends in a suicide???How are we not sure which one is canon if one ends prematurely....?
>>4577517With what's going on, I don't think Normal Route is gonna be 'good' either. There's way too many hints of something really bad lurking behind it all.
>>4577519Weird route chapter 5 ends with a stinger for Chapter 7 side B.
>>4577521It also taints your save like completing Undertale's genocide route did.
>>4577521This is literal gibberish. Can you explain it in a way that actually makes sense for someone who isnt playing the game?
>>4577522Yeah. Which I honestly find to be the most interesting part about Deltarune.>>4577523Chapter 5's end scene after they go into the lake is just a chapter headers saying 'Chapter 7 Side B'. As in, it'll continue when chapter 7 releases.
>>4577523Completing chapter 5's weird route (the secret evil fucked up route) ends the game and gives you screen telling you to load chapter 7 (The game's last chapter, which hasn't come out yet.)
>>4577526I'm already wondering what fucked up shit will happen in Chapter 6. That whole prophecy thing is shifty as fuck. Also Susie wanting to invite Noelle into the group kinda goes counter to what Kris has been trying to do the whole time (keep Noelle away from all the stuff).
>>4577525>>4577526So evil route skips a chapter, got it.Except there is the whole SUICIDE thing that kinda gets in the way of a continuation!
>>4577517It should also be added that in addition to Susie/Noelle being canon, Susie is also canonically NOT romantically interested in the player character, which caused the fandom to crash out and go full incel mode
>>4577486>>4577489For what it's worth, the latest chapter has some evidence that Kris is assigned female at birth. They encounter a character that's heavily implied to be based on themselves as a child, and she's a murderhobo loli.
>>4577540>which caused the fandom to crash out and go full incel modeOh boy, another Gooseworx situation. Fire up the popcorn, girls.
>>4575287I decided to try this mod out, and while I'm still early in the game, it seems very gay so far.
>>4575287>>4577552I feel like she's being more forward than in the og game
>>4577531The implication is that the whole suicide thing actually transports them elsewhere
>>4577552Yeah, looks like the modder stayed pretty faithful to the original dynamics.>>4577553Aerith is actually always this direct. She is pretty unhinged below that bubbly domestic appearance.
>>4577484Hardcore furry pornography, don't click!>>4577520I'm personally not too concerned about the prophecy. Previous chapters emphasized reinterpretation and reading between the lines, so I'm putting all my chips on "girl who defies fate" x "girl who glitches games" yuri to save the world.
>>4577583The problem is that weird route is the one that's about defying fate, even if it's fucked up.
>>4577552Are you using any other mods? Or is this just vanilla FFVII with the Skye mod?
>>4577591No, just the Skye mod. Still, I believe it comes with a retranslation mod by default? I also noticed some unusual stuff like the bomb in the opening only having a 5 minute timer instead of 10.
>>4577596Yes, the video for the Skye mod mentioned in its decription that the rewrites took the retranslation mod as their basis. So this mod also automatically improves the terrible localisation. Two for one.No idea about the bomb timer, but it was also 5 minutes in the Remake, so I assume that is what the timer was supposed to be all along?
>>4577496Still wondering about the catgirls...
>>4577618In Undertale, there's a ghost character who possesses a figurine of the in-universe anime character Mew Mew Kissy cutie. She has a one-sided crush on Undyne. She also appears as a secret boss in the latest chapter of Deltarune, where due to the way Deltarune's Dark Worlds work, the anime figurine that she's possessing also becomes a sentient being. This has obviously lead to a lot of quasi-selfcest art.Miku is there because she's on the song for the boss fight.
>>4577624I somehow know less now than I did before
>>4577625Basically, it's two distinct beings who are trying to share the same physical body.
Anything worthwhile in Palworld?
>>4577633Nope. Wait for the farming sim spin-off.
Deltarune yuri:Gay reindeer wants to fuck gay dinosaur.Sentient anime figurine is possessed by a ghost and is cool with it.Simple.
>>4577624Napstablook was a girl?
>>4577651Not Napstablook, different ghost.
>>4577652The other Undertale ghosts had like zero presence, so it's not like anybody could possibly remember. Weird for it to be a callback character.
>>4577653Mew Mew was a Switch exclusive boss so there's something at least.
>>4577653>zero presenceConsidering Mettaton was one such ghost, it's doubtful.
>>4577656As in an Undertale exclusive boss? Never heard of that. Or Deltarune exclusive? That's even dumber.
>>4577658To clarify, the Switch edition of Undertale had Mew Mew as an exclusive boss. Mew Mew/Pink are in all versions of Deltarune.
>>4577659I find that ridiculous. Adding an extra boss only to a single console version after the game had been out for years everywhere is just a dick move. Also limited her inclusion in the overall mental breakdown of a fan space that is Undertale... though I suppose that might be a good thing.
>>4577662Oh, yeah, I agree on that. It's not like she's plot critical or anything, but she's a fun character and her Undertale fight looked interesting.Toby's basically a giant Nintendo fanboy (And to be fair, it seems to have paid off for him since he's making music for them now and had Deltarune featured in two Directs)
>>4577664Dude literally hung with Sakurai, beat him in Smash Bros. and got the Sans skin in. Safe to say he is very much winning with Nintendo. Not a great company to be associated with these days, especially on the indie space, but that's besides the point.
>>4577669Probably better than Microsoft or Sony if you go around asking.
>>4577834Definitely not. You gotta be a masochist to be a Nintendo fan these days. Nitendo fans are the ones getting screwed over and over. Fan projects and emulation getting shut down with force, online shop full of AI slop with zero quality control, lawsuits against every single indie that even remotely does anything Nintendo pretends to be their copyright property (it never is). Retarded pricing on all their releases, Switch 2 being barely even worth the hardware parts it is made from. Constant censorship despite selling goonerbait AI slop on their store with zero ability to filter it out or "protect the children" from it.They will refuse to sell you half their gaming catalogue, but will sue you into the ground for keeping the games going as roms. They will shut down fan remakes and fan games left and right and threaten lawsuits. This hatred for modding and emulation is only outdone by their idiotic business practices. Overpriced online functionality that is more unstable than Sony's free online used to be. Insane prices for their own badly emulated retro games. I could go on forever. Nintendo is just a pit of greed like all other gaming studios they used to pretend to be better than. With the difference that their QoL is way below their competitors. Literally all that's keeping them going is their big IPs and being the only "decent" handheld option.
>>4577838Meanwhile Sony outright said 'we don't care what our fans want, we are confident in how strong the brand is' in regards to them quitting physical media. Also their shop is also full of AI slop if you actually bother looking around.
>>4577841That physical discs thing is a very recent "scandal" and was something that was always projected to happen. Whether you agree or not, I am talking about the recent years, where Nintendo has been nothing but greedy bastard with zero care for their fanbase. Sony made a pretty extreme move, this month. It's a new development.Yes the Playstation store also has it, but you can filter it way better, there are actual user ratings too, which helps immensely with filtering out AI slop and asset flips (Nintendo's store has NO user interaction whatsoever). And Sony actually has no "quality" standard reputation to uphold and doesn't censor games themselves. Nintendo's situation is worse because they are hypocrites. Being angry about "stolen" assets or concepts, being angry about skimpy outfits in their games... but their store is the worst of all.
>>4577843>doesn't censor games themselves They actually did just that in the past, back when some American asshole was CEO.
>>4577845Usually (not always), the ones censoring stuff are the publishers. Rarely ever did Sony themselves tell the studios to censor their stuff directly. But it does happen across the board. In both directions even. Japan doesnt care about sexualized teens, but anything with too much blood and gore has to be censored there. So Western games with violence need to be censored in Japan.Anyway, this is pointless. We know Nintendo are fuckheads. It's not really debatable anymore. So ungratiating yourself with them is not really a positive anymore. But then you will be hard pressed to find any gaming company that is decent anyway. It's just extra shitty to work with Nintendo as an indie dev, when indies get regularly fucked over by Nintendo with threats of lawsuits, because they cant fight back.
>>4577847I think you should get some help
>>4577866>moronic Nintendo fan upset that he has no argumentsAnd the sky is blue.
>>4577867You act like Nintendo killed your wife and raped your dog, dude.
Unless Nintendo and Sony are an evil lesbian couple, this has now become an off topic discussion, get a room.
>>4577868>stating basic facts>Y-you are way out of line!ok
