Check out the public yuri mod paste and consider adding more mods and fan translations here: https://rentry.org/n4ugnvhfEdit password: yurimodLast thread's fan translation additions: NoneLast thread's mod additions: Elder Scrolls V Skyrim mods, Rune Factory 3 Special mod, Stardew Valley mods, Fields of Mistria mods, Story of Seasons mod, Harvest Moon DS modI am moved to see how much enthusiasm the mod paste got last thread. Lots of really great mods all around.Highlights:-Super in depth Serana romance for Skyrim, better than anything in the main game. Other romancable companions too-A cavalcade of Fields of Mistria mods that turn most of the male bachelors into women and even a Rival Romance for those who want some solid yuri that doesnt involve the SI protag-Rune Factory 3 Special finally has a female protag who can data ll the girls. The twis is that it replaces male MC with Shana instead of an original femC-Story of Seasons (original) and Harvest Moon DS finally got their own femC/yuri mods
Because somehow these threads don't last even a month anymore I am forced to repeat some upcoming releases in the news post sometimes. Not sure how to feel about that. I guess it's nice that we are so active.
>>4603053You forgot a warning about Money for girls: the MC can be choosen to be transgender
>>4603056>we are so active. We really aren't. Most of the games discussed here are non-yuri games because anons decided to use the general as diet /v/.
>>4603107I dont put up warnings any time you can play a male MC.
>>4603109Last thread was 90% discussion about yuri games and yuri mods. If you werent there to see it then I have to assume correlation between better threads and your absence.
Of the Devil episode 3 confirmed for November
is this true
>>4603210Maybe, yuri really seems to be more popular recently.
>>4603052Saw someone get challenged to listing 25 yuri games in another thread. Can anyone make it to 50? The rules are no VNs and no bisluttery or selectable male protag.
>>4603266Here is that anons 25 yuri games list btw. So I guess you just need to add 25 more >>4602985
>>4603267Would gone home count? Or is a walking sim too little substance?
>>4603266>https://itch.io/games/tag-lesbian>1291 results>https://itch.io/games/genre-visual-novel/tag-lesbian>784 resultsThat means 504 indie non-VN yuri games. Filter out any other qualifiers, you should have well over 50 yuri games.
>>4603268If it's not a VN and doesn't have bisluts or male protags it counts. But I dont remember Gone Home having any yuri, just mentioning background lesbians.>>4603269There is no filter for "no bisluts" and "no male protag options" far as I can see. And the lesbian tag is in fact used for bisluts who dated/can date men and even for trannies on itch.Gimme actual specific games anon!
>>4603267Depends on your /u/ definition, but there's probably 25 gust games with enough content that makes plenty of /u/ fans happy by itself. There's obviously some weird shit like the Blue Reflection gacha as well, but if you ignore that, between Nights of Azure, Blue Reflection and the Atelier series... plenty to findThen you can add some of gay shit from compile heart, like some of the Neptunia shit, some of the Senran Kagura esque games.. I'm not making a list. But that shouldn't be hard whatsoever. If you wanna see romantic kisses then good luck though.
>>4603295>Gust>yuri fans happyThere is like 3 Gust games with actual yuri. Get real.>Neptunia, Senran KaguraThis is a bait post, isn't it?
>>4603295>That ambiguous non-answerHeh
>>4603311He literally picked all the subtext franchises without actual yuri (except for Nights of Azure, a franchise that died before the pay-off). Classic bait, but not very entertaining.
>>4603267Samurai Maiden being listed as the no. 1 is pretty depressing due to how garbage it is as a videogame. It's easily the absolute worst of the entire list and by being the no. 1 it gives the impression that you can't have yuri and game quality at the same time.
>>4603330It was not a ranking.
>>4603334I know, but still a no. 1 in any list is the initial impression for anyone reading said list and first impressions mean everything in many cases. It should open with either Forbidden West or Strategy of Lily due to being some of the strongest gameplay and quality-wise, placing SM near the bottom.
>>4603337I really don't care about your tastes.
>>4603267I only see 24 games on this list. The 23th place is literally empty. Weird.
>>4603399Sounds like one heck of an ocular disability.
>>4603405True but better glasses or adjusting the Goggles won't fix that blindness.
Given how the definition of Yuri changed to "media depicting relationships between women of any kimd, not necessarily romantic or sexual" we can argue that most videogames are Yuri.
>>4603407Sexual content isn't really needed to be counted as Yuri, imho. Romantic intentions can be misunderstood or misinterpreted by onlookers or even the recipient. What they do after the screen fades to black is purely up to the Observer. Make a strong enough argument for low-level romantic characters and you might change the history of a "they were just roommates" couple to "cousin" couple.>TL;DRMy delusion is strong enough that there is no need for them to kiss on screen because I know they are already planning their wedding.
>>4603407When will you give up posting this shitty bait? Leave this board.
>>4603415The issue is that your delusion encourage developers to not depict actual romance, allowing them to profit from het audiences at the same time. But to be fair, if Yuri fans are satisfied with googles and subtext then there is no reason to go beyond that.
You would think this idiot would get bored of reheating the exact same shitposts every single time, every few weeks, but no. He just has zero self-awareness or creativity. It's all he can do.
>>4603420>developers to not depict actual romanceDon't worry, my other still existing braincell is fully aware of this vexing sideeffect. However, sometimes Yuri needs to be diluted to be even released in the first place. As is the case in some countries. It's not something to aim for in games. And yet, a silent, acknowledging head nod sometimes speaks louder than any explicit scenes. For me, it's encouraging to see devs trying to reach out however small it seems. My delusion also protects me from unnecessary things like third-wheels, cuckqueens, infidelity and so on. There are meant for each-other. No discussion.
>>4603425Do you realize that most of those characters are unambiguously just friends or acquaintances at most and you're creating something that doesn't exist at all?
>>4603270Yea the female protagonist puts together that her sister ran away to do clam fishing
>>4603053>Future Racer 2000 I watched someone stream this. It's a fever dream, but there is definitely a lot of content about the protag's broken relationship with her ex girlfriend. Some of it looks like generative software was used, but apparently the dev didn't.
>>4603428I absolutely have no problem at shipping [cute girl A] with [cute girl B] in [videogame XY] because they are obviously already engaged. How do I know? Because reasons, which I have observed beyond the black.
>>4603434Based third eye anon.
Mininews:The dev promised that Detained too good for school would release in November; shipping with only two female love interests instead of the promised four. Anomalith is releasing on October 18th
>>4603054Seeing all these Mistria mods gives me paralysis. I feel like if I play the game right now I will miss out on a better experience later. Guess I will wait a few months.
>>4603444>DetainedI dont know why you insist on humoring those devs who actively didn't want to include the romance. Just drop them like they tried to drop the yuri.
>>4603445First time playing? Don't worry, it'll feed the better experience later.
>>4603449I dont usually replay games. Especially not 100 hour farming sims.
>>4603451Understandable. Any of the LIs or part of the game stand out? Could approach using mods for that area.
>>4603452Dunno. From the pics and trailer I think the goth girl is fun.
>>4603444It's been so long since I saw news for itActually didnt they say something about something being removed a while back, I'm still game if it's got romance still. I liked what little I played of the demo
>>4603456They intended to release the game without romances but the publisher forced them to have romances at launch so they went with four now and the other four later.
>>4603465If they didn't wanna be forced they shouldn't've included the hostess side job.
>>4603266>>4603267Anon who made that list here. Seems I need to finish the job then. Though like I said in that thread just check out the darn rec list in OP. Also the no-VN rule is retarded.26. Sword of the Necromancer (Remastered)27. Knight Bewitched28. Ghost Moon High Noon29. MeMary: Memory of the Nameless One30. Koihime Enbu/Koihime Enbu RyoRaiRai31. Little Goodie Two Shoes32. The (mis)advantures of Magical Girl Luna50. Imaginary FutureIt was EASY. This doesn't even include untranslated games or upcoming yuri games. Even when you give me the handicap of no games with selectable protag gender or optional male love interests you couldn't stop me.
>>4603468(Before someone bitches, there are plenty of yuri manga where the MC is a hostess but she's still 100% gay, just being a glorified waitress for her male clients).
>>4603471It's an awful set-up for a lesbian character and quite shitty writing. Reminds me of that one Yakuza hostess side-quest where Kiyru interacts wiht a "lesbian hostess", but the quest ends with her making an exception for Kiryu anyway and implies they banged. Because a lesbian hostess is literally just a male fantasy about seducing a lesbian.
>>4603471>gay hostess>milk bar open 24/7
>>4603475It's a het hostess bar
>>4603470>Also the no-VN rule is retarded. Not at all. VNs aren't videogames in the first place.
>>4603471I just think it's a dumb thing to include when they're apparently against romance, especially when a waitress job is there too. They should've just committed and had a massage parlor to better lampshade the not-prostitution job in the slum city.
>>4603477Here's the thing about that: Nobody cares about your opinion.
To be fair the game is borderline vaporware so all of this discussion is sort of pointless. November? I'll believe it when I see it.
>>4603471There are male love interests.... She is already not 100% gay.
>>4603476>be me>young actress>mega-super-duper-star-famousfeelsbad.png>no freedom>no privacy>mom robs me of any joy>manager gaying for my mom hyper fixates on me>can't move, walk, talk, breathe or rub one out in private without her knowing it>probably has multiple cameras in my room and caught me shlicking a few times>meet hottie with big b00baholyblessedbadonkadonksjigglephysics.gif>devours me all night>stuck on those titties the whole time>later get found out gayestmanagerâ„¢>now have to do my job and act with those endless milkies in mind>we meet on / off for some time>find out big secret of her>gay hostess>milk bar open 24/7>mfw
>>4603465Ah, rightI knew I remembered something super negativeWell I'm glad they are adding back some romance at least, I'll take it
>>4603053Notable omission: Fire Emblem Fortune's WeaveReleasing in several hours
Do I need a guide to fully enjoy Sweet Home or can I just play blind?
>>4603444>>4603456>>4603465I remember playing the demo of it not too long ago, it's a fun beat'em up, though a lot of people in the discussion section said they made the combat too simple compared to an older build of the game
>>4603493I don't think you should look forward to romance that was literally only put in at gun point. That sounds like they would make it as shitty as possible to get it over with.
>>4603571We have no confirmation yet that it will feature actual yuri. It could be another Engage too where they are super limiting it to protagonist or knowing fucking Treehouse, censoring the yuri out of the game in the US release.
>>4603609It's a visual novel. If you can't get through it without a guide you might need to be admitted to a mental hospital.
This game is just stupidly charming
There isnt even a mod for these to hook up. They are just naturally this gay.
>>4603704So far it seems super limited on the avatar side of things, with only select few A ranks for them.
>>4603738I'd rather pair up every single female unit with another one over having the cardboard cutout get romances. So if that was the approach they are taking it wouldn't even be that bad.
I really can't find any info on romance in the new Fire Emblem. Seems they finally axed it altogether, the cowards.
Fire Emblem simplifying the romances is such an idiotic idea. The FE games themselves are trash from a videogame standpoint and the only reason people buy them is the romance mechanics; gutting the romances is the sane kind of arrogance that sank Dontnod, Life is Strange's original developers>"People loved our game due to the charming lesbian love story? Nah, it was due to our godlike writing"
>>4603815To be fair, the most recent games were actually really good for gameplay.Engage was a major step back in the story department, but Three Houses writing was genuinely good.Presentation and quality of life are also reasons to like FE.There wouldnt be such an insane romhack scene if people hated the gameplay. People are still playing with FE7/8 gameplay mods because they love it.Yes, pairing up units for romance is a pretty essential concept for FE too, but let's not forget that Awakening and Fates went all in on the relationship and children mechanic and those two are ultra mediocre because of it.Obviously fuck them and I won't play a FE game where I can't pair up women to fall in love, but it is entirely possible that they shifted their main audience. The reviews for Fortune's Weave are actually bonkers. It's getting praised to hell and back by cirtics, so clearly their choices didn't shoot them in the foot.
>>4603818>There wouldnt be such an insane romhack scene if people hated the gameplay.Quite the opposite: the immense romhack scene is the best proof of how bad the games are.Basically people take those building blocks the original games are and use them to build something genuinely good. >It's getting praised to hell and back by cirtics, so clearly their choices didn't shoot them in the foot.Critucs are just jumping on the Hate Sony bandwagon to get clicks; FW releasing at the same time as Wolverine is just too good of a chance to convince gamers that "they're on their side" to let it unused. At the end of the day Fire Emblem is like Persona: take away the romance and you're left with a game shittier than the average amateur RPG Maker effort.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz3Q-DlzGGAThe first motherfucking acknowledment of Kotone since Persona Q2 and it's in the fucking Persona gacha!!Goddamit Atlus, you couldn't even put her into your goddamn P3 remake, but you sure can cram her into your shitty gacha. They have the audacity to show Saori and other social links that only exist on femC route in P3P too. NO I am not calming down.
>>4603827>all critics are secretly conspiring against Sony Yeah, you lost all your credibility already. Not gonna bother with you from here on.
>>4603830>secretlyAnd yes, critics are desperately trying to win back gamers at a time when people would rather trust their favorite youtuber or Steam reviews. No idea why you're defending so ferociously a shit franchise that literally removed the only reason we gave it our attention.
>>4603829To be fair, adding characters to gacha is far easier than adding all her stuff to relaoad, the different social links, the cutscenes, animations. parts where the script differs like the summer trip. Meanwhile adding character to gacha is easy, it is the most basic shit, all gacha survive by adding charactersAlso blame Atlus, but don't forget to also blame their SEGA bosses who control the budget. Stingy SEGA and lazy ATLUS are both to blame
>>4603829Who gives a shit? She will be modded into the remake.
>>4603831Idiotic. You picked an arbitrary time that critics "suddenly" want to win back gamers, like they weren't the laughing stock since 10 years ago already. You just picked you current agenda and threw it on whatever issue serves you best.
>>4603834They sure had the money to spare to make this entire animated trailer for their gacha character! I mean this is more effort than any gachashit ever gets. And for what? A single character they don't acknowledge in her own game? It's upside-down world.>>4603835That project has been going for 2 years now and I don't see them making significant progress on anything they haven't already finished over a year ago.
>>46038371:26 min of animation isn't that expensive. You speak like they gave the event a whole season of anime instead of less than a minute and a half. There are sakugabooru clips that last this much. It's not comparable to all the things including her in Reload need
>>4603836Does a game that gutted out the romances deserve those 10/10?
>>4603847If you don't care about romance? Sure. I don't know how good the actual game is as I haven't played it. If it has the combat depth of Engage, the story of Three Houses, without either of those games downsides, it would be pretty damn good. Relevant to this thead? Not at all. But it doesn't contradict the reviews. Your argumentation is retarded, because the players are in the same boat. People really don't like Wolverine and at least from first impressions, many love Fortune's Weave. It's not a conspiracy, it's just the general opinion.Until there is anything on romance in the game though I will stop talking about it.
>>4603053https://store.steampowered.com/app/4200970/Operation_Eventide/This VN finally released on Steam. For all the anons always complaining about yuri VNs being too much fluff and romance, this shit is fucked up and weird. For the mentally ill people who think girls cutting each other's limbs off is the most romantic experience. There is a NSFW patch on the dev's itch page for the game.
>>4603869My favorite part of Nurse Love Addiction was the ending where the MC kept her dead lover's meat in the fridge and kept cooking her into meals.
>>4603874Sounds like you are a moron. This game will be for you!
>>4603052https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2863680/view/678509959027097880Oh they announced a Director's Cut for Zero Parades. It looks like it will add quite a bit of content. And the update is free for people who own the game already. Nice. They specifically mention there will be more Melita content. That's good.I just wish they would add something to the ending, because the game is absolutely not getting a sequel.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3503300/Toxic_Yuri/Finally a toxic yuri game for all to enjoy
>>4604174>Grimer uses cuddle>It's super-effectiveCan a trusted adult tell us how toxic it is? I don't like unwholesome stuff.
>>4604176Grimer is generally Poison type. Toxic is a battle move silly goose.
>>4604178Poisonous meant you shouldn't lick it, right? So no fluff? Honk?
>>4603739Most of us prefer protagonist romance
>>4604189 No. You are only speaking for yourself. Actual yuri fans prefer real romances between actual characters that were written with two women in mind, instead of having to be written for a gender neutral self-insert who can't even talk, so the love interest has to carry the whole dialogue and all interactions./v/tard prefer protagonist self-insert romances. Yuri fans are the ones who prefer defined main cast romances. This is why VNs are so overwhelmingly prevalent in the yuri scene, because people actually want to see a proper romance between two real characters. If there is also a proper game around that concept then all the better.Fire Emblem used to be more ambitious with its protagonists too. As shitty as Fates plot was, the original Japanese version provided 3 entirely different personalities for Corrin that gave her interactions different flairs that made romances feel interesting, as she actually talks in Supports and the story. It's such a shame that the first (and maybe last) FE game with yuri romance was the one with the carboard self-insert protag.
>>4604193This is also why I hate most gachaslop unless the protagonist is actually a set female protagonist and not some blank slate.
>>4604193We already went over this last time DoS2 came up. You lost.
>>4604209>wanting self insert slopDie
>>4604209>I-I didn't lose!
>>4604189>Most of us>us
>>4604193>This is why VNs are so overwhelmingly prevalent in the yuri sceneNo. It's because Yuri is a narrative concept unlike any other videogame genre. You can't "play" yuri like you can play a shooter or a stealth game.
>>4604241Gamedevs are just not being creative enough. Imagine a prison architect style colony sim game except you're in charge of building a Class S all-girls school but the students keep trying to fuck each other so you have to use your resources carefully to make sure they find their ideal onee-sama safely instead of raping each other in the bathroom
>>4604241>You can't "play" yuri like you can play a shooterDOOM wad where you play as an onee-sama and deal with hordes of fangirls by throwing love letters to them>or a stealth game.same as above, onee-sama sneaks towards their kohais to give them lesbian sex they never knew they wanted
>>4604244Well one that sound tedious and then boring after it gets worked out unless the sex writing is good. Two: >Class S
>>4604241You can just add yuri to any game and it's yuri. Signalis is a yuri survival horror because it's lesbians.
>>4604256The only anon with a brain here.
>>4604256>You can just add yuri to any game and it's yuri. And also hugely improved!
https://youtu.be/P_GHg8sRVn8?is=GDXAOAXe87wwJIgRCRYMELIGHT has an anime opening now. It doesnt really tell us anything about the potential yuri content unfortunately. Alice kinda looks like Komari from Shut-In Vampire Princess.
I've been really craving another older crpg would anons recommend BG/2, NWN/2 or Icewind Dale when it comes to yuri stuff?
>>4604328None of them unless you mod them.
>>4604328Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition has one f/f romance option. But otherwise there are no vanilla f/f optiona in any of these. We got quite extensive yuri mod sections for all of these games in the OP though if you are interested.
>>4604381Da. Just one? They didn't make any of the other old LI savailable or anything?
>>4604389Nope. They just added a new recruitable lesbian vampire companion. Nothing else /u/ relevant.
>>4604389Just don't make the mistake of actually playing trough EE for the romance.
>>4604411BG2EE's Imoen romance mod is probably the most in-depth romance in an old school CRPG ever made. I highly recommend it.
>>4604413Imoen mod is really good. The "vanilla" EE romance is trash.
>>4604414True. Even though there is a mod that made Viconia and Phaere romancable by female protags with writing additions and reactivity, it's ultimately always the fans with decades of free time that perfect these old games. The original vanilla game simply only treated romance as a minor bonus. Romances were actually fairly rare in CRPGs up to the BG era.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2902170/Kernel_Hearts/This game was brought up during the Steam Next Fest for having a female protagonist group and some kind of gifting/bond mechanic with th NPCs in the game that sort of looks romantic. Downsides were screenshots of something that looked like het interactions too.I hope we can get some info on whether this does have yuri, because it looks like a very fun indie action game with an actual plot. Also adult militant magical girls is a whole vibe.
>>4604374>>4604381I should have specified that I was planning on modding them, but I wanted to know what game has the best story
>>4604423I mean you literally asked which one we would recommend for yuri, so you worded that pretty badly....It's subjective of course, but I think BG1/2 (these are treated as one big story) have the best story out of the ones you mentioned. As far as romance mods go, the BGs also have the best selection. Icewind Dale and Neverwinter Nights neither featured romances naturally and while some fans did do the work, they don't feel as natural. All of these games also got massive content expansion mods, but BG2 recently just got a story add-on level mod called Throne of the Mad God, which is easily something you could have seen companies release as paid expansions. Not that BG2 needed any more expansions, it's massive as fuck and has an expansion that many consider to be an entire third game in content size.
>>4604395Maria-sama. For all BG3's faults - of which there are many - it certainly trounced its predecessors when it comes to /u/ content.>Muh mods.Mods should only enhance what is already good. Getting a game for the mods is like watching a show/film or reading a book/comic for the fanfiction and fanart. Dodged a bullet there, as I was thinking about getting BG2.
>>4604425Yeah my bad I didn't phrase it as well as I should have...But I appreciate the lengthy response it sounds like bg2 might be what I start after beating wotr!
>>4604432Are you stupid? Who said to get the game for the mods? BG2 is a great game even without romance. The romance mods just make it better.Sounds like you are not the brightest.
>>4604435Please start with BG1. It's pretty essential, and most companions relationships are continued between the games.
>>4604422It's in a bundle with Hell Maiden, so that is a pretty good sign imo.
>>4604437Oh? Okay then! I'll try out bg1.
>>4604436Don't like the idea of playing a game where the male pc gets a harem while the female pc either gets all het or nothing.Honestly, might as well play the old AD&D games. Cheaper and at least neither get no romance.
>>4604439I did tell you that BG1 and BG2 are one continuous story, so I'm confused I even had to point that out....>>4604443>male MC gets a haremWhy do you give a shit? Not like you will ever play or see him. Also just so we are clear, both Baldur's Gate games force you to pick one love interest around the mid point. And none of the love interests are okay with your flirting with other people.>female MC gets a reverse haremYou don't have to like hetshit, but framing it like female MC gets nothing when she gets the exact same amount of romances is just weird. >I would rather play games with no yuri at all than just install a well made natural feeling yuri romance modSounds like you might have taken a wrong turn. /v/ is in the opposite direction.
>>4604446you made 2 sound more interesting with the big mod talk at the end! I figured "treated as" didn't necessarily mean that it was one big story. I know the mod on the rentry said that the one mod that makes them into a continuous story breaks everything else. So I guess I figured 1 was somewhat skippable, that youd get a rundown of the events of 1 in 2 or something
>>4604449Nah, it's like BG2 literally begins right where BG1 ends. In fact you keep the exact levels for your party between the games. That being said, since the Enhanced Edition came out, they added a maor expansion to BG1 called Siege of Dragonspear which puts a whole campaign between BG1 and 2.
>>4604446The male pc still gets a harem in the sense they have the most or best options to choose from. And I said nothing about installing mods. I mean you can play the old AD&D games and get the same experience whether your party is all-female, mixed, or all-male.
>>4604451Oh I see, I will start with 1 then. Thank you for helping!
>>4604453>uh.. it's like they male MC got a harem, becuase... uh... he has female romance options! That is literally not what the word harem means.>I didnt say anything about modsYou literally said you would rather play games that have no romance. Why are you seemingly completely unaware of what you yourself said?
Fortune's Weave is the most het-oriented entry in the Fire Emblem series. 99% of the female cast are either pining for a man, can only be paired with a man, or have already had a relationship with a man (in some cases, had children as well). There are a few girls that seem yuri-friendly but they only get platonic, non-romantic endings. The self-insert MC also does not get romantic endings, so no yuri featuring the MC. I just saved you $70 plus tax, no need to thank me.
>>4604482There are no romances in the game period. And it's not any more het than any of the games pre-Fates. They were always all het.
>>4604446>Sounds like you might have taken a wrong turn. /v/ is in the opposite direction.Fuck you, leatherwoman.
Anyone here familiar with Night Slave? It's a mecha side-scrolling shooter that was released in Japan only for the PC-98, most definitely because it contained lesbian sex scenes. I ask because I heard it was fan translated, though what does /u/ think of it?
>>4604491Really? What are the chances? Some anon actually talked about this just last thread. And yeah we freaking know about it, we literally have the game in the OP's mod/translation paste.
>>4604497I see. I asked about the translation because I remember hearing it got a translation in 2019 that wasn't well-received, to say the least, and that there's another one from two years ago.Though I must ask if the sex scenes there worth playing the game for?
>>4604505>are the sex scenes worth playing the game forUnless you are the dumbest gooner in the universe and don't have access to free porn somehow, sex scenes are never a reason to play a game. Porn games usually try to make the game part go away so you can get to the porn. Games that are just good games with porn scenes in them make the porn an afterthought and you forget about them inbetween your gameplay focus.Night Slave has one h-scene after every mission, which usually is combined with one story scene. But the combat is actually challenging abd requires you to focus. Gameplay wise it is a really decent clone of classic mecha side-scrollers which many people are still desperate for. Nobody expected a porn game to have gameplay this sophisticated. The plot is dark and a bit all over the place. The ending is quite tragic (and also a Gundam reference).
>>4604483>There are no romances in the game period.Objectively false, there's already been paired endings/romances popping up. There's just not many of them. This game isn't pure matchmaker like 3H/Awakening/Fates, the characters that get paired endings are the ones that specifically show interest in one another in the story (to put it simply for morons, you can't just pick two random characters and have them hook up).Until every ending is confirmed no one can go and proclaim there is no yuri.
>>4604491I played it. It's doomed yuri. Gameplay is fun but it's also largely ripped off from a game that does it better.
>>4604510The game has been out for days. All supports have already been uploaded to youtube. There is no yuri.
>>4604512Link to the video showing all the endings?
>>4604515>post non-yuri game with het endings on /u/Seriously crossie...? Use the searchbar yourself.
>>4604520I asked for a youtube link, not your drivel. Post evidence or fuck off. Don't reply with anything that isn't a youtube link beyond this post.
>>4604521>too lazy to use youtube himself>claiming the game is yuri unless "proven" otherwise (aka posting hetshit)>obvious shitposter villain linesConsider yourself and your het game dismissed.
>>4604525It's a trick question. Your inability to produce a link is because there is no such video that exists showing all the endings, where your claim that there is no yuri would be proven correct.Consider yourself retarded.
>>4604526It is a trick question indeed. Because there is no yuri, you would ask me to post hetshit, which I will not do. But because you intentionally refuse to inform yourself you will keep shitposting about this off-topic game if I don't.Unfortunately for you, when you are dismissed that is permanent. Bye bye.
>>4604528Words words words. You can't link to the video because the video doesn't exist.
Crazy how some people have still not learned that you have to prove the yuri, not it's absence on this board.
Crazy how some people still have not learned not to call a game het because a 200 hour jrpg hasn't had all of its endings unlocked and catalogued yet.
>4604534>low IQ shitposter pretends not to know what datamining is
>4604535>switch 2 game>dataminingIt's always the most braindead shitposters that are the loudest.
>>4604535Uhh Switch 2 games can't be datamined. If that was possible this argument wouldn't be happening. You kinda fucked up.
>>4604538Double posting? You really are desperate. Yes, like literally every data storage device, Switch games can be datamined. They work the same way as Switch 1 games, which could be datamined for years. How the fuck do you think people are emulating Switch games?
>>4604542I'm sorry anon but I don't care, I'm just telling you switch 2 datamining isn't a thing yetI can't believe you guys had this long ass argument over a nonexistent datamine
>>4604543You are the same guy, stop pretending to be a third party. I literally told you there are videos of all supports and all endings. Post proof of yuri or fuck off.
This conversation literally can't go any further. His entire argument hinges on datamining that doesn't exist. And now he's going insane pointing fingers at multiple people. It's over.
>>4604544Well whatever, I tried to be nice, just trying to avoid having you spread misinformation that a switch 2 game has been datamined when that is false
Weird how the shitposter never posts any yuri. Truly curious.
Weird that there's practically no discussion for such a hit yuri vn in China in the Western community.
>>4604512>All supports have already been uploaded to youtube. There is no yuriThis is a shitpost. There are less than a dozen supports uploaded on youtube by the date of this post. The FW wiki is completely empty. What a wild claim to make, almost as if to shut down any discussion preemptively.
Is Slay the Princess yuri OR are there mods that make it so? I'm grasping at straws here but I have to play it for research>>4604559I didn't even know it's in english now.
>>4604599I'd say quasi-yuri by virtue that, iirc, your character is rarely referred to via pronouns. It's just the head voices being narrated by a dude giving that framing while you get (You)'d. However there is a mod on nexus for the like two lines in one ending where your character gets pronouned. I can't think of anything else though it's been a while.
>>4604599>Is Slay the Princess yuriNo, and it would be ridiculous to attempt any modding with that one. As much as I love this game, this one should not be mentioned her.
What does /u/ think about playersexual games, as, games where you can choose the MC's gender and the female love interests fall for the MC all the same and the dialog doesn't even change between MC genders?
>>4604714Lame. Player controlled romance in general is lame, it just boils down to min maxing whatever you need to do to get the character's affection stats up high enough. I never bother with them unless I'm forced to, and the only game that forced me to was Dragon's Dogma.Give me a properly written romance that I can't effect through my actions any day.
>>4604714Speaking strictly about higher budget mainstream games...of course I'd like to see more actual lesbians like Judy from CyberpunkBut at the end of the day, beggars cant be choosers.
>>4604714While it's better than nothing, it really is just a bare minimum if it doesn't even acknowledge the MC's gender.
>>4604714It depends on how much of a person the MC is behind player influence. It varies from game to game ultimately.
>>4604559Because it is chinkslop with the same old themes as all their VNs. Boohoo family trauma.
>>4604599It's het.>>4604601What are you smoking? The protagonist is a man.
>>4604714This shit gets discussed basically every thread and you want us to believe you are a newfag who just randomly thought of this? And you don't even reply to any of the answers? Why are you farming engagement bait on 4chan...?
>>4603054Someone is working on the Valen x Juniper Rival Romance for Fields of Mistria. It's stioll a WIP, but it's the same modder who made the Celine x Reina one, so I have full confidence in their work.https://www.nexusmods.com/fieldsofmistria/mods/1601
>>4604825(me)Correction, this is the same modder who made the Butch March mod. I mixed them up.
I think this was a good time to do my bi-yearly reset of the public yuri mod paste. I have overwritten it with the main paste's contents to align them.>>4603054While I am at it, here is a much improved butch Ryis mod. Now she actually looks like a woman. Still has all the rewrites from the old mod.https://www.nexusmods.com/fieldsofmistria/mods/1517
ngl as someone who didn't know much about trails in the sky games (other than they always have a male lead and het) i kinda got baited by the new game because it had a female protag but even this shit is still het af, i just wish we got more jrpgs (not rpg maker) that are yuri or at least yuri friendly....
>>4604870Really anon? You didnt even try to look it up beforehand? Sky being het is a well known and documented fact. The pseudo-incest romance between Estelle and Joshua is a focal point of the entire second game. Though the second game also had a rivalry between Estelle and a fellow female Bracer which I always thought to be super goggable. It pisses me off that they teased me like that in fact. But nah, the only lesbians are side-characters and they are always either villains or treated as a "look how promiscuous this bitch is" type of characters.
>>4604727I thought the protagonist is (you), I.E whatever gender the player is or prefers?
>>4604875Nope. He is a guy. That's always been one of the annoying parts about Slay The Princess. They couldnt even pay lip service with self-insert crap, they 100% intended this to be a guy from the get-go.Not that the game would be relevant to this thread if the gender was undefined. Neuter isn't yuri either.
>Still talking about Slay the Princess?See what I mean? Discount /v/.
>>4604879>people ask if game has yuri >other people explain that it does not>"SEEEEE you are talking about /v/ stuff!111! Caught youuu!!!"Fucking moron
>>4604880Ignore the schizo.
>>4604870The amount of jrpgs that have yuri can be counted on a single hand and none of them are popular enough to receive sequels that aren't het if they get sequels at all.
>>4604870There is a good reason the Trails franchise is one of /v/'s favorite franchises.Your fault for ignoring the black flags
>>4604936There are plenty of JRPGs with yuri. You mean mainstream JRPGs.
>>4604482I'm not surprised considering how many characters have "likes: the opposite sex" as their only trait.
Fortune's Weave going turbohet doesn't surprise me; plenty of developers are very blatantly taking political sides due to the current societal climate. On the other hand we'll see plenty of traditionally het franchises taking the other side so we lose some franchises while winning others.
>>4604974No shit people want something in a popular game so they will have more content.>>4604990I guess Japan has fallen to the same shit as the West where now it's lgbt and so they can't hide behind "its fanservice" anymore because people expect canon, and they don't want to do that. You can literally see most of these games becoming more overtly straight as a result.
>>4604995That but also the fact that Nintendo has always seen as the "right wing" videogame company>Traditionalist in every single aspect, from game design philosophies to business handling >Aimed at children and families So basically they're closing files around their main consumer base.
>>4604974I've only ever heard of Nights of Azure and Blue Reflection. If there are any others that aren't translated I'm unaware. Not including player sexual franchises like fire emblem or etc
>>4605002Nintendo gets woke points in the West for having skintone diversity, and they can coast along with that while people are happy to accept that while considering gay characters to be against the company's "family friendly" image. I'm not really surprised this is the most racially diverse game that they have while also being the straightest.
What's the phenomenon called where in a rpg you find it hard to romance any other character other than a particular one you like? For example.>Make a new Tav/Durge in BG3.>"Okay, she's going to romance Shadowheart/Karlach/Lae'zel.".>End up romancing Minthara every time. Why does this keep happening to me?
>>4605043Taste? More objectively it's having a favorite. You'd need something like three confirmed cases/favorites to start trying to find a 'type' between the three favorites. The more examples on hand, the better for finding your type.
>>4605043I do the same thing in VNs, but I might just be autistic. I don't do all the routes, unless it's required for a true ending or something
>>4604995>>4605002Nintendo literally never acted any different? Stop pretending they are "taking sides" or have some culture war objective. Nintendo literally never had LGBT stuff in their games. Fire Emblem is not a first party Nintendo series. The fact that one game had same-sex romance in it was not a Nintendo decision and the FE devs are notoriously hetshitters too, so nothing actually changed.
>>4604995>popular game>more contentThese two concepts are not inherently linked.
>>4605014>Fire Emblem>playersexualThis is why I hate talking to people who don't even know anything about the games they try to talk about. Fire Emblem's main gimmick was always pairing up ALL your units with each other. They are not fucking playersexual, they are able to be paired up with a bunch of people. Just because ONE game had a cardboard cuout self-insert that doesnt talk and some bisexual characters does not make it a playersexual franchise you dumbass. And why do you think I said non-mainstream? RPGmaker games are also JRPGs. Indie games can be JRGs. It can't be that hard to understand.
>>4605043The fact that you can only play a Tav self-insert makes it pretty obvious why....
>>4605046>>4605078I guess as an older Nee-san, it might also be a bit of holdover from a time where /u/ options in games were much more limited than they are now. I mean, in most older RPGs with /u/, you were mostly limited to one - or maybe two - options and that was it, meaning the choice was easier or there simply wasn't a choice at all.
>>4605078I share this kind of autism.
>>46051173 games thank you very much! Fates, even before the mod did allow for 2 characters (as awful as they both were) to be romanced regardless of the players gender. Engage also had romance with support endings for almost everyone, regardless of whether you were a boy or girl. And I don't really think anyone is counting RPG maker games as jrpgs. When people think about jrpgs they're thinking of FF, Tales, Trails, maybe even atelier (which is goggleable in some instances), YS, DQ, Persona (which I guess you could count 3P the protagonist of which hasn't been brought up in any mainstream media since aside from a gacha game to show just how much love Atlus has for the idea of yuri), Nobody is thinking about some niche rpgmaker game, on top of that a massive chunk of the RPG maker games nowadays are just rape fetish games. There are a few games that are released here and there in the engine that aren't but some of them don't even come from Japan or share any traditional jrpg elements, like lgts.
>>4605234>FatesONE character and it was treated as an awful gag, not serious romance. Same game that had the het conversion potion by the way. Doesn't count.>EngageAll romance was wiped out in the localisation. Even the """unproblematic""" stuff. Treehouse was already trying to erase all romance from the game. But sure, technically the Japanese version had some same-sex romance for Toothpaste exclusively, completely abandoning FE's roots.>I can only think of mainstream series as JRPGs, so cater to MY neeeeedsFuck no. Just because you are an idiot doesn't mean I need to change the definition of JRPG. Some of the best JRPGs were made with RPGmaker. Your entire word salad here is just a backwards attempt to justify excluding everything you don't want to acknowledge by looking for bad examples. The P3P part is especially telling because that's a mainstream JRPG with yuri and you try sooo hard to somehow twist it into not counting because of irrelevant outside factors that you would never push on a het only game.JRPGs are a style. They don't even have to be from Japan anymore. And there are plenty of JRPGs made in RPGmaker or by Japanese indie devs to this day.

>>4604439As long as you like RPGs of this sort and don't play it just for romances, it's a fine game. A bit disfigured by the Enhanced Edition in form but the story/world vibes are there.

>>4605700>girl inside a girlTwo girls for one. What a deal!
>>4604432>Mods should only enhance what is already good."romance requirements unlock" mods don't count as mods to me. I don't like content mods since usually they feel. And generally I tend to like the original story instead of fanfiction. Romance unlocking mods only help you to get the original content so they are fair game IMHO.Back then there wasn't much choice, I just played it with a mod to check out the romances with a female protagonist (imported from BG1 and made before I even knew there will be something like romances in BG2).
>>4605120IDGI, can you explain your theory?
>>4605701she's not inside, she has been murdered and disposed of.and that's a shit fetish
>>4605702Basic gender unlocks are garbage because your character is still treated as a man. You need at least proper pronoun swaps and light rewrites to avoid breaking immersion.
>>4605704You are a waifufag (derogatory)
>>4605706>your character is still treated as a man.Technically yes. It's been so old so I can't really remember how often she was "him" in the dialogues. The romances are mostly 1:1 talks, seldom interrupted by others (who would be more likely to third-person about CHARNAME aka the protagonist).>You need at least proper pronoun swaps and light rewrites to avoid breaking immersion.I had no problem there, that I remember. Easer times, perhaps?I wonder if you'll object to one of the girls getting pregnant when she sleeps with you (female).
>>4605707NTA, but what if shipfag with specific archetypes?
>>4605708If you cant commit to actually being a woman, then you can play a dude. Clearly you dont care about yuri.
>>4605709Self-insertfags who are obssessed with a specific love interest? Waifufags. Exclusively.Would be different if it was an actual yuri ship someone is diehard for, like MadoHomu. That's a shipfag.
>>4605710how does that follow from being able to play a game without autistically choking on a few "he/him" instances?B-But wati - They even talk to me in some other language that is now my own but it's a wrong one (english instead of whatever is common in Faerun!!!) ohnoGuess my character touched in-game grass and I was blinded to the transgression I was committing

>>4605713yeah, you ignored everything I typed and just screech. Scram.
So about Fortune's Weave Yuri or not?
>>4605716Still no. Until proven otherwise.
>>4605711Just to clarify because the discussion of "is self-insert legit or not" is constantly on my mind when brought up (because I still can't fully agree with the reasoning against it but I'm trying to humor the thought process):Created FemMC x Random-LI & Created FemMC x Specific-LI (aka OnlyAvailable) - Is self-insertion and thus through waifufagging should not be mentioned even though it's Yuri (woman loving a woman)Optional FemMC x Random-LI & Optional FemMC x Specific-LI - Is the worst and never should be mentioned because it's implied het or bi as the availability or selectability of any man ingame for either FemMC or any of the two LI forms is an upfront insult of the devsPreProgrammed FemMC x Random-LI & PreProgrammed FemMC x Specific-LI - Are the one and only true Yuri forms and only those should be mentionedThe quality of everything can be disregarded and even a reallymegabad cutout PreProgrammed FemMC with half a braincell and / or the face of a troglodyte is the creme of the top because it's PreProgrammed? The Random- or Specific-LI does not deserve more eye- &/or brain-candy than the devs intended?Where does the Divinity game where you can smush two "Created FemMCs" together belong in this? Can any intention behind a Created FemMC be ignored because it's exclusively assumed to be self-insertion?>inb4Yes yes, I am retarded, stupid, and whatever. >>4605722You deserve all the mockery you get. Your attempt to sound condescending by badly aping much more intelligent takes than yours is not a good look. You can't strawman someone so badly and then pretend you want to genuinely understand. But as you need to be spoonfed I will try to ignore your nonsense and just explain it in easy terms again. Without pointless retarded spoiler bars over non-spoiler sentences, you daft cunt. What you replied to was a specific claim, not a generalized one like you pretend. Self-insert yuri is the absolute lowest form of yuri. It barely counts, because the character does not exist and yuri is not about (You) and never will be. This is why self-insert protags are a curse. They encourage self-insert talk in what is supposed to be a yuri thread. It causes bullshit where people openly waifufag and feel unrestricted in doing so. If you see a moronic waifufag in a yuri manga thread talk about how he wants to fuck the main heroine badly, he would get his teeth kicked in for being a worthless waifufag. That's not what yuri is about. But in a self-insert game? Some moron rambling about how hot the love interest is and how HE wants to bang her is glossed over, because technically he is talking about a game character banging another game character, which he is just projecitng on.There is a level of separating the player from the roleplay, but those lines get too blurry most of the time. Example: Tav vs. Aloy. When a BG3 player talks about Tav they will usually use "I/My/Me". Self-inserting, not shipping. A waifufag. When someone talks about Aloy's romance it's "Her/She". Audience POV, shipping. Yurifag. The less self-inserty = more yuri. Which doesn't mean you need a premade character. You can create very distinct characters in some games and pair them up. That is still very yuri. Some people can seperate themselves from Shepard, Tav or the Knight Commander and treat them as a proper character. That is a lot more acceptable too.
>>4605756Take what you can get and enjoy what you can. We ain't gonna be young forever.
>>4605756Not for me. I enjoy videogames as a whole.
>>4605722I don't think I get what your point or thinking there is, frankly. What is Random-LI and Specific-LI?I do think it is silly to complain about self-inserting in role playing games.

>>4605763>attempt to sound condescending'Twas genuinely not my intention and I'm honestly sorry if it sounded like that. I could blame the lack of proper socialisation, the difficulty in language and my exhaustion level but that would be finding excuses. My intention was to find the reasoning behind those claims and it's difficult to find a neutral ground in something I very strongly disagree with. My corresponding emotions make me sound arrogant. However I'm working on my deficits that's why I am upfront on my redardism. Despite all of that I am truly trying to wrap my head around the topic.>pointless retarded spoiler barsI spoiler anything and everything regarding men because it should be mandatory on this board as well as unnecessary personal thoughts which give contextual relevant background info. But please give me a reason to provide my schizo ramblings with more visual space.>generalized one like you pretendInteresting claim.>level of separating the player from the roleplayThat's what I was thinking.>usually use "I/My/Me">less self-inserty = more yuriWriting "I" is usually much easier and faster than re-writing the mechanical and narrative story in "she/her". It seems that this is more of a matter in discipline in the presentation than if a game with a Created FemMC is or isn't Yuri because someone couldn't separate themselves from the mechanics when they talked about the game.
>>4605782I want to respect the dedication to spoiler that word but your very image contains a m*le so...
>>4605763(NTA) this was something, all right. So basically you can only play games with pre-generated main characters?I mean, those are no problem, but if you try to approach games the same way as you appraoch manga which seems to be your take, you are completely missing the simulation part of games. Kinda ridiculous view, IMHO.tfw got Bc. and Mgr. for (not great) papers about narrationXsimulation
>>4605793>you are completely missingor perhaps I should have said, misinterpreting. It's late here
>>4605770>Random-LI and Specific-LIRandom-LI = Random Love Interest from an assortment of manySpecific-LI = The only available Love Interest in a game - think one-route VNsI wanted to be precise as to avoid misunderstandings. My bad for not properly explaining those terms. My point is to understand why a game with a FemMC you can create is instantly frowned up and called self-insert the moment it gets mentioned that this option even exists ingame. If you created somebody totally unrelated to yourself it still would be called a self-insert waifufag game. If you just wanted to ship two cute girls together it's still self-insert.
>>4605796oh, I didn't get the meaning of random vs specific there, now it makes senseI wonder if certain poster in this discussion insists that dating sims and RPG games with romances are two polar opposite things that have nothing in common and there never is any kind of overlap or crossover between those two concepts in mechanics of actual games or in how people consume particular games. Oh the horror.

I see
>>4605854Most of the games listed don't focus on romance at all, and only feature yuri as a background element of the story, sometimes only optionally
>>4605924>mostNot true. The VN section is the longest after all. And there are plenty of other narrative games on the list too.>don't focus on romanceAlas, that is how most games work. Gameplay takes up most playtime, shocking I know. >sometimes optionalThat's irrelevant. It should be assumed that someone looking for games with yuri is actually going to select the yuri.Obviously you are trying to take the piss, but pretending you were a real person... this is a list that is trying to give people variety in genres and approaches to yuri. It's made for all demographics, including yuri newcomers who want to be eased into yuri via more traditional games where romance is just one aspect. Many people turn to yuri after having a good experience with an unexpected yuri romance in a game they didn't really play for that aspect. And for those who want a yuri focused experienc ther eare still over half of all games on that list.
>>4605824i wasn't planning on dating lu ting for my first route but after seeing her and her grandma on new year i feel like she and zhao ying might be able to understand each other well. what was your favorite route?
>>4605853Multiple ones? There's none listed in the rentry.
I was foolish. I just beat Fortune's Weave earlier today and I haven't been this mad since Blue Reflection 2. I put all my chips on Leda and Mu being gay for each other since the latter kept voicing flags "I like you", "I love spending time with you", etc but it turns out their story just ended in an abrupt A-rank sisterly relationship. Fujos won so hard I can't bear to look at the title screen anymore. This game genuinely appeals to nobody other than the most casualized newcomer cattle who has no appetite for tactical gameplay or unit shipping or character design or whatever else. The worst fire emblem in a really long time,
>>4606129There has yet to be any discovered yuri endings between party members, but there have been yuri endings discovered for the MC. So it's more comparable to Engage. Far from the worst FE in terms of yuri. Keep the gameplay criticisms to yourself, the only relevant info we need is the yuri part.
>>4606131One Yuri ending with yuri babies even.
>>4606131>Keep the gameplay criticisms to yourself, the only relevant info we need is the yuri part. And then you wonder why the only yuri games are either VNs or absolute shovelware
>>4606151No amount of complaining about gameplay on an anonymous yuri forum will affect what kind of yuri games are made.
>>4606131>it's more comparable to EngageIt's not even that different from Three Houses.None of the paired ending discovered so far between female party members are explicitly romantic, but you could say the same from Three Houses. >>4606204Engage's gameplay is a million times better than any old FE game. And if Fortune's Weave builds on that it is also better. You are both fart sniffing retards.
>Still no screenshots of all the supposed Future Weave's lesbian romances, routes and yuri babiesI'm starting to believe those anons were full of shit
>>4606380The one posting screenshots is using male Eshmel but it's the same ending either way. It's canonically established that female Mediators can reproduce with other women for this exact purpose.
>>4606381Isn't Fortune's Weave a prequel to Three Houses? Sure is unfortunate that that lesbian babies ability disappeared. Even though dragons are known to be able to reproduce with everything and everyone, but somehow having the dragon inside her doesn't give Byleth that neat trick. I thought that was the entire excuse they used in Fates for why female Corrin can have a child with the crazy bitch that was used as a gag romance.
>>4606325>Engage's gameplay is a million times better than any old FE gameHow so?Genuine question, I've played pretty much all games in the series except engage.
>>4606386It shouldn't matter, a few years from now the lore of Fortune's Weave will only be remembered for making 3H Crimson Flower the objectively good true canon route and Edelgard being the best leader with the smartest ideals.

That's why you are getting BTFO'd every time you try to push it or games like it. It's one thing to be hopeful or to ask whether people think there will be yuri in a game. >>4607430Honestly, I'm shocked they actually went for it. That's really cool. I always noticed how into each other they were, but it's always a dice toss whether that is entirely intentional. I see that as a win, even if you have to play as the brother to find out.
>>4607430Is this explicitly canon or just your assumption? Is it shown in a cutscene? Any pic/link to a video?
>>4607430Good I suppose, maybe next part gonna let players play as Jesse again, I'm too gonna skip 2nd one.

>>4607477With the current political climate and the videogame industry going through its second, maybe final, crash? Not at all. >>4607478Shut the fuck up shitposter.
>>4606129Turns out you were a lying bastard after all. If you actually beat the game you would've gotten this. Hopefully this serves as a reminder to anons not to believe anyone's claims unless they post proof.

>>4608211>the only headcanon is that they were a couple>Emily never confessed her feelingsUh... these two just contradict each other. If anything it is clear they weren't then? Just totally possible to headcanon that they may have had mutual feelings.
Will you buy and play Control Resonant then? I mean, if the game has yuri content as you claim then it's a must-play, right?
>>4608216How do they contradict each other? They have feelings for each other but never got together. Unless we're not using the same definition of headcanon?
>>4608219Why did you not learn from getting deleted? Seriously. Nobody said they would buy or play the game. Anon is literally just sharing information about it. Are you going to stop baiting now?
>>4608220Headcanon doesn't work if it is contradicted by the actual facts in the game... So headcanoning them as a couple when the game explicitely stated they weren't is not really a headcanon. That is just an AU fanfic.

I know there were issues (het) with the game, but is Pocket Mirror worth playing at all for the 'full experience'? I definitely want to play Little Goody Two Shoes and the rest of AstralShift's games
>>4608258There is no actual het in Pocket Mirror outside of the fact that Goldia's mother married a man she didn't love. Goldia herself has no het relationships. But while the game itself is fine it just doesn't have any actual yuri. It also doesn't really add anything to Little Goodie Two Shoes in my opinion. Easy skip.
>>4608258Don't bother, PM is easy skip, it's a bit sad that LGTS is it's prequel than sequel since we know what canon route dev team choosen even before game was created for it ending then.
>>4608277Holy fuck the LGTS schizo must have some fucking word tracker active. Without fail the mental reprobate will always come out of the woodworks to lie. Is this literally your only purpose in life?
>>4608277Funnily enough one of the main reasons Little Goody Two Shoes is so popular with the /v/ermin is the "Pocket Mirror" ending. """""""""Fixing""""""" a lesbian gives their miserable existences a kick.
>>4608281You dont have to announce that you are a /v/tard so openly. I bet nobody there gives a shit about this random indie game either. It's a bad ending and none of it is portrayed as canon. The end.
>>4604422According to some reviews it does have a romance feature. It was a bit vague though. The game has an honestly amazing animated opening with crazy production values, but the gameplay itself is like an open world roguelite where you go around fighting till you die or achieve some objective. It's super chaotic, the kind where it will randomly start raining meteors after some time as a stage hazard. It might be more fun in co-op. I haven't tried out the different girls yet.
>>4607420Given my insane backlog, it wouldn't have happened any time soon, that's for sure, so mostly for preservation. I guess not _that_ much of value was lost, but still a shame that it was lost. Cute pixel art, at the very least.
>>4607420Also, where did you even find the yuri communities that played it...?
>>4608372Japanese sites.
>new dialog in the latest Deadlock updateYikesNot that I play the game but always enjoyed the fanart and shipping, this is disappointing.
>>4608845Shippers dont really need canon or proper support for their imaginary crackships in these kinds of games. Overwatch has churned out ship art for 10+ years with no real couples.

>>4608845What happened? Het flirting?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3438810/Princess_Maker_Children_of_Revelation/The new Princess Maker went out of EA and is finally fully out. As was mentioned before the game changed hands after the previous boss scammed his own studio and ran off with crowdfunding money. The new dev team actually made a proper game that was pretty well received all the way up to the end of Early Access. So why is it getting review bombed? From what I can see chinks are upset that the price didn't go up after Early Access and it even is on a slight sale right now. Sucks to be them, but not a problem if you want to buy the game now.The other issue seems to be that they promised voice acting, but only added some very, very minor voicelines. Couldn't care less about that. I played Volcano Princess which has like a couple of lines for the daughter and nothing else... until the upcoming Japanese voice acting update next month that is!So yeah, apparently it's now a good game, but there will always be strive with the devs, no matter who they are. If you aren't interested in a standard Prince Maker experience (with multiple yuri romance options now) that has so much stigma attached to it, you can always get Magical Princess instead, which also came out this year and delivers on all fronts. Or wait for My Fairy Princess to come out this year, which is already shaping up to be another hit close to the greatness of Volcano Princess.PS: Magical Princess is gonna add yet another outfit soon and added more 4komas.
>>4609027>mad that the price didn't go up>mad it's on saleI don't get it. Anyone able to translate this type of behaviour? Something something anti-capitalism?Glad it's out tho. We definitely can't have enough of daughter games.
>>4609044It's because the point of Early Access is that you get the game for cheaper in exchange for playing a beta version/giving money to a dev on trust alone.Usually a game coming out of EA is priced higher than it was in EA. So they feel scammed for paying more money in EA than on this release sale. Which is still stupid of course, but at least you can see their logic.
>>4609047There is also the fact that the people buying an EA are literally serving as unpaid Beta testers.
>>4609054What about "playing a beta version" did you not understand? But that is also fucking wrong, because1. You dont have to play the game just because you bought it ahead of time2. You dont have to share data or give feedback. So you arent testing, so much as just playing an early build out of curiosity.
>>4609047Jealousy and greed are a bad combination. I get the frustration but at the end of the day the devs need to raise more money after what happened. And sales are good for that. Especially with an EA price that high. In comparison Magical & Volcano Princess are either half or one third of that with no sale. Princess Maker needs to get those that didn't buy it in EA. Also couldn't they ask Steam Support? Or refund it and buy it on sale? Assuming they didn't already spend 300 hours on that game.
>>4609063Steam refund doesnt work on games you bought a year ago. Not that it matters, because none of this even addresses the game's actual quality. Almost all reviews, even the negative ones, admit the game is good. They just feel scammed and that upsets them, so now they demand free bonus stuff for EA owners.None of my concern, I bought it on the release sale and will probably play it eventually.
>>4609058>"playing a beta version" did you not understand? You're the one who doesn't understand how the act of playing a beta version makes you a beta tester, regardless of giving feedback or not. And in fact most people who play a Beta version do give feedback.
>>4609068>you are a tester even if you dont play the game or if you dont give feedback, shut up!!
>>4609071People buy a game in early access because they want to play it now rather than waiting for the final release. If you're moronic enough to buy an EA game to not touch it that's just you and that's not what the entirety of the people who buy EA games do.
>>4609072In many cases people quite literally only buy EA games to support the dev or because EA games are cheaper than the final release. I thought that was blatantly obvious with the context of this entire shitstorm.
>>4609077>"People only buy EA games to support the dev or because EA games are cheaper than the final release; they never play them before the final release"
>>4609078>onlyYou lost
>>4609071>join beta by buying EA version>everyone automatically assigned the tester job description>never play gameThat's just doing a lousy job by being lazy. Or that anonette was sick or in a coma. The ladies are:-Clivia (forest child, kind every girl)-Charles (cat girl, dont mind the name)-Cresty (demon girl)-Milka Gremory (female knight/noble)There is one Epic (e.g. hardest to achieve) endings tied to marrying a dude unfortunately and you can only get the true ending by getting all three, including all marriage endings. So if you want to be a completionist getting the het endings won't be avoidable. But beyond that the art and gameplay are very nice and the female love interests are actually all very good.
>>4609308>Cresty>MilkaGame, pls have mercy on our daughter.
Don't know if it's as yuriful as the first two yet (still playing), but if anyone curious, Swordcraft Story 3 just got an english patch.
>>4609339I'm pretty sure 3 has nothing. Some anon claimed the 4th game had yuri, but it's not like anybody confirmed it.Also Swordcraft Story 1 had like no yuri outside of a super missable summoning choice and one character that the ngame makes you think is a boy on purpose for half the game.
>>4609343>Some anon claimed the 4th game had yuriUnless they were talking about the mainline Summon Night games, there is no 4th Swordcraft Story.
>>4609346Yeah that.
>>4609308>bratty succubus wife seduces my daughterThat will do it. I will buy your game now
>>4609339Tell us again if there is any yuri content found.
>>4609376Cat girl is also a good option.
>>4609339>first twoDoes the second game have any yuri? When anons disucssed the first one, it seemed like nobody could say anything about the second game's supposed yuri content.
>>4609398From Wikipedia:"Lynnri Rinrii Runnrii (リィーンリ・凛利井・トゥティアナ, Rinri Rinrii Runrii): Lynnri "Lynn" is Ryouga's sister. She has great influence over the main characters, using her charm and sex appeal to get favours at times. Also Linn always tries to kiss the main character regardless of gender."That's all I could find though and this is actually a disguised antagonist, so I doubt she gets a proper romance.
>>4609343>Also Swordcraft Story 1 had like no yuri outside of a super missable summoning choicelarping aside, there's an image guide to get the summon you want that is probably older than you
>>4609451>moronic nothing replyWow, how utterly pointless of you. Learn what larping means please.
>>4609462ok, you're still a larper and the first game tons of yuri outside Sugar
>>4609463>still doesnt even bother to look up what larping meansYou'd think you brainrotted morons are all so obssessed with AI that you can at least ask your phone to tell you the definition.>tons of yuri outside of sugarThere really isn't. You only got Razzy and her situation is left way more ambiguous, becuas she is like 10 years old.But go ahead, guy who never played the game, tell us all about the plentiful yuri of this game you never played.
>>4609468holy seethe
>>4609469>mask offYeah figured.
>>4609308Does the true ending also tied to marrying a dude?
Is Black Lily's tale worth $15?
>>4609517No. But you cant get it without getting the ending where you marry one at least once.
>>4609615It's very good
>>4603052Sales anon here. Like I said, I'm skipping spring and autumn sales. But I got two options for ya1. You can take the sales paste and just hope stuff on it is on sale anyways. Most of it usually is. But percentages are no good.https://rentry.org/c5sd4d7n2. This is from some guy on the Hella Yuri forums. https://www.lorenzostanco.com/lab/steam/wishlist/u/yuriwishlistA wishlist that essentually has every single Hella Yuri reviewed game and gives you the ability to sort them by every tag and even mature warnings and filtering out AI shit. Controller support. The whole thingamajig.Downside? Hella Yuri has a lot of trashy games that don't suit this board's preferances. And it doesnt order for shit like self-insert protag, minor or major yuri etc. etc. So if that's what you like about my shitty half-assed paste, then this won't be it.Hope you buy lots of great shit. Peace.
>>4609643>wishlistIf I understand this right you can make your own wishlist and save it. So we can make a /u/ curated wishlist.
>>4609643>VR YuriTorn is on steep sale. This thing is handy.
>>4609683Issue is ya need to make a fresh steam account to do the wishlist, cause you cant wishlist games after buying them.>>4609685Didn't even know Torn had VR support. Heard it's a real good puzzle game tho. Not too much lesbian VR stuff out there.
>>4609686Edenfall is an outlier here. It hasn't even been released yet and there is no Hella Yuri comment on it. Curious as to why it did made the cut on the list. This is really fun desu.
>>4609685I wouldn't get Torn for the yuri (also iirc it wasn't that good as a game too). It's impossible to say something about it without huge spoilers (iirc there's a post in the Hella Yuri forum that spoils the whole story if anyone is curious), and while it is true that the relationship is very important to the story you don't get to see very much about it and it's not exactly satisfying.
>>4609692Just in overall sense, is this like a "Gone Home" situation?
>>4609692Yeah, it's a bit like MeMary, where the lesbian relationship is the core of why things are happening, but the twist in the end leaves a bitter aftertaste.
>>4609695>MeMaryI haven't played this yet (it's free btw). Still haven't decided to go for Torn (it's sitting snugly in a cart 90% off). Still don't know if we are a playing an Observer or a Player in Yuri. No doomed Yuri pretty pls.
>>4609695>but the twist in the end leaves a bitter aftertaste. Now I'm curious; spoil me please.
>>4609723Mary seduced a married woman and when the husband found out he basically killed her. The game takes place in limbo where Mary solves puzzles to regain her memory. That's the plot, but I won't go into what happens after she finds out. In case someone really wants to play it anyway. It is free.
>>4609720>No doomed Yuri Don't buy it.For more details, here's the post talking about the plot/ending:https://steamcommunity.com/groups/hellayuri/discussions/0/806847640195259380/#c806847640195261622
>>4609728Nooooo, I don't wanna click that and the spoiler is enough. Shooh, away with that.
Hello, a kind anon recommended me to start BG1 the other day and I finally have free time to do it. But I was wondering if you had a particular companion mod you liked the best out of the ones listed. I was leaning towards Sirene but the lawful good makes me nervous. I also liked Vienxay but I wasnt sure
>>4609828I think it depends on how you want to proceed in BG2 to be honest. As some people mentioned the Imoen romance mod for BG2 is amazing. I don't know if you are fine switching lovers across games. If you want to stick with one love interest, then you definitely need to pick one that has mods for both games. Vienxay actually does have a continuous romance across both games. There are also some companions who are only romancable in Siege on Dragonspear expansion or only starting from there. Also, there are companions who can romance each other in some mods. It might be worth considering those to have more yuri in the game until you reach BG2.Thanks to you I noticed that a lot of the links are dead, because the SHS forums changed their format and now all the mods are downloadable on Github. I will try to fix all links on the paste.Recommended companions forBG:EE ONLY:OphysiaValerieAuraBG:EE1 & BG:EE2:SireneIsraVienxayBG2:EE ONLY:Imoen RomanceRomance Expanded (Viconia and Phaere rewrites)Mazzy Chloe (can romance Imoen if not romanced by PC)Auren (will romance Nalia if left alone by PC)Faldorn
I just found some old yuri games that I never saw anybody mention so I thought I'd post about themhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/764230/Shoujo_City/It's an open world dating sim. You play a girl with a girlfriend and have to reach a certain goal within 7 days. Or play free mode and just do whatever you want. Reminds me a bit of Artificial Academy 2, but without the sex. Very soulful.https://store.steampowered.com/app/1141360/Dungeon_Dreams_Female_Protagonist/I think someone mentioned the sequel Dungeon Dreams 2 before. At the time I looked up the first game and it was male protag only. I am shocked to find out now that the first game had a spin-off literally called (Female Protagonist) with more romance options than the original... And yeah she can marry 4 ladies.https://store.steampowered.com/app/1852090/Tinting_Time/Super cute little indie game that nobody noticed. You play as an alchemist "creator" girl who makes all kinds of potions and solves puzzles. And you can bond with 10 different girls. The dev describes it as "light-yuri", but one of the girls is literally refered to as "childhood sweetheart". Maybe the dev's English is just not amazing and they didn't mean to use an explicit term like that.
>>4609880>Imoen RomanceThis isn't a EE only mod. Also she can romance Aerie if left alone.
>>4609910>this isn't an EE only mod???I am not sure where you got that from my post. My default assumption is that anyone playing BG1/2 these days will do it via the Enhanced Editions. My post was just separating whether the companions/romance are only on BG1, BG2 or actually in both games. Almost every single companion mod on the paste is compatible wth the original BG1/2 releases to begin with.>she can romance Aerie if left aloneYou mean in the Imoen romance mod?
>>4609914>Almost every single companion mod on the paste is compatible wth the original BG1/2 releases to begin with.Nvm then.>You mean in the Imoen romance mod?Yes.
Any info on Fire Emblem Fortunes Weave yet in regards to which route is the most yuri friendly? Obviously the first assumption is to pick one of the female leaders to follow. But I really need to know which recruitable units can have yuri endings before I really decide.
Anyone remember that one Silent Hill f inspired 2d top down horror game from kick starter that was posted here sometime ago? I'm curious about the current progress but can't remember the name.
>>4609919It can't be SH inspired if it's top down shite. It's also pretty idiotic to try to leech as "inspiration" the most polarizing SH to date
Oh good you triggered that one schizo who was really mad that nobody here gave a shit about his hateboner for Silent Hill f. Look at him making up some shit about it being the most polarizing game when its review scores were all good and its beloved in Japan. Most polarizing my ass... As if games like Downpoor, Homecoming, Ascencion don't exist. Even Townfall is getting mixed reception. Just cram it schizo.
>>4603054https://www.nexusmods.com/fieldsofmistria/mods/1614One romancable dragon lady not enough for you? I gotcha. Forgot all about Caldarus when I said all male bachelors have been genderswapped by now. Changes sprites and gendered terms.I mean Seridia is right there, but they are very different flavors of dragon.
>>4609918There's strategy guides that have sections about bonds and pairings, but they cost money and are physical. So I wont be getting those.
>>4609933NTA but>Unironically defending hetshit
>>4609975Nobody is defending hetshit and the fact that this is your angle means you're not better than that shitposter.
>>4609977>Nobody is defending hetshit>"some shit about it being the most polarizing game when its review scores were all good and its beloved in Japan"Regardless of that being true, it's hetshit that doesn't deserve to be even named here so you shouldn't waste bandwidth defending it, let alone replying to the schizo.
>>4609979Silent Hill f is literally a story about how the protagonist does NOT want to be married to a guy and rejects the entire concept of arranged marriages. That is the whole reason right wing grifters tried to review bomb it in the first place?Maybe learn anything at all about the game you make claims about.... It has no yuri and I'm not pretending it does. But it's not hetshit either.
>>4609986>>4609975>>4609932Oh boy, time for me to interfere! The MC indeed rejects the concept of an arranged marriage but she never rejects the guy himself, and the true ending show how after both sides of Hinako reach a mutual understanding Hinako and Fox Boy decide to give themselves time and experience life outside the town (and their families' pressure) to decide if they actually should marry or not And that's ignoring the pretty blatant sexual tension between Hinako and Shuu, which is the drive behind many of the actions taken by Hinako and """"friends"""""". So yeah, the game is as heterosexual as it gets. /v/ hates that game because their Youtube grifters ordered them to. t. I actually played it and got the final ending.
>>4609988So the "het" parts are all in your head and not actually explicitely there. Got it. Everything involving Shuu is literally framed as Hinako not giving a shit about him that way, but causes jealousy and tension with her "friend". If you see sexual tension it's because you want to see it.I really don't want to actually discuss this game, because it has no yuri. I was just correcting the schizo and the half-assed other guy. Some games are not hetshit and still irrelevant to us. But constantly trying to obviously bring it up to shit on it because of a right wing vendetta (look through the archives, he literally repeated all the grifter talking points last time) is also not tolerable.>/v/ hates that game because their Youtube grifters ordered them to/v/ hates the game because it has even the slighest feminist message about women having autonomy, which is one of the things they hate most in games.
>>4609990No, they're literally there. You never played the game so you're regurgitating what other people say, which makes you no different from /v/. This is not the first time we have the same argument about a game I actually played but you never did and still have the gall to reply to me. Have you ever experienced something yourself?
>>4609995I love how you have no evidence whatsoever, but if evidence existed you would just get your posts deleted anyway. Talk about a conundrum for you.I dont care about your delusions. There is no explicit or canonical het in the game. Period. The end. Now stop trying to talk about this off-topic game, because this has gone far beyond what even the schizo did.
Shame on you two. Poor >>4609919 asked a simple on-topic question, and gets a flurry of off-topic shitposts instead of an answer. No wonder this board is dying.

>>4609998Concern trolling doesn't make you any better... If you are so concerned for anonette, you could have just posted the game she asked for.
>>4610000>Silent Hill f, Signalis, Rule of Rose, RPGmaker horrorThose inspirations are all over the place...
>>4609897thank you anon these look cute
>>4609880I was planning on keeping one love interest for my first playthrough, I like being faithful. Thats why my first two thoughts were Vinexay and Sirene. I wouldnt mind the imoen one if its that good though. I just fear the party members potentially being upset with me if I steer off the path of good for a mission or something
>>4609998Everything is dying. This place is more or less the last good place left.
>>4610027Delirious moron
>>4610015>I just fear the party members potentially being upset with me if I steer off the path of good for a mission or somethingI ddon't even know how this relates to anything. Just play the way you want. Your party will generally stick around regardless of your choices. BG1/2 are not really made for evil characters though. Playing evil gives you almost nothing, far fewer rewards and no special favorable outcomes. That doesn't mean doing something with nevative karma a few times will somehow break the game for you. Also most evil aligned characters can be romanced by a good protag anyway.
>>4610050Oh because the characters were marked as lawful good so I was nervous about that is all
>>4610053Yeah, a lawful good character will probably reprimand you if you do something evil. But unless it's specified in their bio that they will leave if you do too much bad it wont stop anything.BG1/2 have way too many potential companions as is, so you will probably cycle them out fairly regularly until you got the party you actually want.
>>4610054oh, alright! Thanks anon, I appreciate it. Ive never played any of the ones but 3, so its a new experience to me
>>4610138It's pretty hard to go back to the classics unfortunately. That's why quality of life mods are nice to have as well. The fact that you dont have a camp where you park inactive party members is what annoyed me most about Badur's Gate 1. I hate feeling like I am missing out on content because I have to leave a recruitable party member behind somewhere. This is also why I couldnt get into Divinity Original Sin 2 for years. I hate that you only can have a party of 4 and whoever you dont pick in chapter 1 will just be permanently gone. Ugh.
>>4610000Yup, thanks anon. May Madokami's blessings be upon ye.
>>4609932The most polarizing Silent Hill will always be the newest one so right now its Townfall
>>4609960>all male bachelors have been genderswapped time to finally play the game, thanks for the heads up
>>4610219I wouldnt count what they did for Hayden... but sure! All bachelorettes now. Of course the non-marriable male villagers are still the same, but I think that's fine.
>>4609897Speaking of older games people may have overlookedhttps://store.steampowered.com/app/632900/Serment__Contract_with_a_Devil/How have I never heard of this one before? Looks really cute. Like a SFW Sakura Dungeon. Or a Sakura Dungeon where not every girl has the same face. "Light Yuri" is generally a lame way to say it's mostly teasing, but for playable heroines with dozens of endings ought to have some proper love endings, especially because it says it has dating sim mechanics.
>>4610155And outside of /vpol/faggots, its about having shitty le ebin stealth mechanics shit.
>>4610155>>4610339Alright already, enough about these off-topic games. Especially ones with fucking m*le protagonists.
>Eternal Strands for $9I think I'm going to grab it, even though I cant play it for a while with Dark Arisen coming. The horned girl romance looked cute
>>4609918Leda's route, with Leda x Mu. You will not be getting yuri outside of that. In terms of quantity it's on par with 3H which had Petra and Dorothea. But Leda is a lord so you can expect more screentime than those two had.
>>4610372I thought self-insert protag (Eshmel?) also has romance endings? So wouldnt there be at least two yuri pairings on that route?>on par with 3H>only Petra and Dorothea3H had Mercedes, Dorothea, Edelgard, Rhea, Sothis. Petra is het. Shamir has one very flirty same-sex ending. The Edelgard/Manuela ending is also very obviously implying something gay.So why were you comparing your alleged yuri ending to a platonic one and downplaying the amount of same-sex pairings 3H had? Makes me think that maybe your word isn't exactly reliable on this topic.
>>4610375I should've specified I was talking about non-MC involved pairings. 3H did MC pairings better, but they are still present in FW.There is a big issue regarding Eshmel that makes me hesitant to discuss them much. I could give it to you under spoilers if you want.
>>4610378I mean... Mercedes and Dorothea is a proper romance ending too. Petra is het regardless.I assume you didn't really play Three Houses or at least not enough to actually test out most endings, let alone read a guide on it. So the same probably applies to Fortune's Weave. At least you told me one pairing for now. >Eshmel's issueOh great, now you're gonna tell me it's a tranny thing or they can swap sexes on the fly or some shit. Because we can never have anything nice.I did hear that they can have children with the same sex, but I assumed it was special powers rather than the alternative...
>>4610379Well, since you've already made it up in your mind that I don't play the games I'll let you find out about Eshmel yourself. I don't want to deal with the potential arguments that would follow anyways. Have a nice day.
>>4610380>makes completely false claim about a game that actively hurts his claim about the other game>"how dare you accuse me of being uninformed?!?!"Wow anon, you are thin skinned, aren't you? Whether you played both games or not, you clearly don't seem to have the full picture. And nothing about Eshmel could really shock me to be honest.I will just look it up myself online then.
>>4610386Yeah I have a feeling you will be fine with the issue In referring to. But for the average yuri fan it's not great. No one is even drawing fanart of Eshmel yuri like they did with Byleth.
>>4610398Byleth design is just way better. But she was a cardboard cutout, so ships with her were pretty lackluster.
>>4610386Can you spoil it if you find it? Anon's dumb evasiveness made me curious.
>>4610428I looked through some wikis and posts and there are a few things that a thin-skinned anon may find troubling.1. Eshmel died once and was revived by possessing a new body. 2. Technically speaking they are 3 years old, because that's how recently they were reborn.3. They sort of disappear in the true ending.None of this would really affect the yuri status of their relationships, so I definitely wonder what that was about.
>>4610428He's probably referring to the fact that Eshmel was male in their previous life. A prominent (and controversial) male in the story at that (Eshmel travels back in time so the two of them actually exist in the same world simultaneously). Some might argue "well it's a brand new person" but they are very adamant about Eshmel having his heart/soul. In fact within the first 30 minutes or so an antagonist quickly identifies Eshmel as this male character. The "yuri pregnancy" ending you may have heard of is also due to the fact that Eshmel is a special class of being that is designed with "a variety of reproductive methods". Unfortunately only /u/ believes in yuri pregnancy because everywhere else interpreted this as futa shit. Fire Emblem Heroes also did no favors because they recently added female Eshmel to the game and only used they/them pronouns for her unlike other female MCs. You can always check the /vg/ archive for spoilers instead of waiting for others. Just be wary that there's a lot of shitflinging involved due to these unusual circumstances.
>>4610431Why would /vg/ care about the yuri status of the game though? They are all playing m*les anyway, so nothing would change for them.
>>4610431>only /u/ believes in yuri pregnancy...Fire Emblem lore literally states dragons can reproduce with everyone and anyone, regardless of gender too. So it's actually very much expected in the series to work without any futashit. Can't say anything about what the devs intended with fem!Eshmel's babies, but I think that's just up to interpretation on purpose.
>>4610434>dragonsThis just awakens Vietnam flashbacks to all those Corrin and Alear futa doujins that were made back in the day, where they literally justfied it because of their dragon nature.Seems normalfags just have no imagination when it comes to magic babies.
>>4610431So most of the "yuri" is restricted to the self-insert, and it even turns out it's GB instead.Failure on top of failure, I want gay mods back.
>>4610476It's obvious that you are the troll from before. Don't even bother.
>>4610477>everyone who disagrees with me is the same person.jpgI don't even know, nor care, what you're arguing about, but I had some hope this game would deliver, so I'm going to be disappointed all I want now, feel free to hide my posts if they bother you.
>"The game totally has no yuri at all!">proven protag has yuri romance>"t-that is just a line of text, so it doesn't even count" (so the guy who said that didnt know about the reborn thing)>"Leda and Mu have no yuri romance at all, which was the only possible yuri in the whole game!">Leda and Mu literally have a romance endings with each other>troll inexplicably never responds to being called out with proof>"There is no yuri at all except for Leda and Mu, just like (actual not a yuri couple in Three Houses)">"I-I meant not counting protag because uhhh... right, it's totally GB! And obviously it's futa beause people imagine that!">That's not how reincarnation works and there is precedent in the universe of same-sex procreation>"Nooo it's all a failrure!!!!"I am just waiting for yet another way that this half-assed misinformation campaign gets disproven. Probably be several other yuri appearing mysteriously appearing later asnd Eshmel being canonized as obviously their own person.>>4610479Nope. You are the guy who has been trying to find reasons to call Fortune's Weave not yuri all thread. You latched on to every opportunity given and this is no different. These fake interest, faux concernfagging posts are just so low effort that they all read the same.
>>4610483>You are the guy whoTake your freaking meds anon, I had two posts in this thread before if you're curious: >>4604227 >>4606392If you're gonna argue that I shouldn't be disappointed then do that, if you're just gonna act like a wailing schizo don't bother. As far as I understand from the info shared here and elsewhere, the game is left with just two genuine options for yuri pairings, mutually exclusive at that, which I find to be below the minimum threshold for not being a disappointment. Is that unreasonable? Maybe, but 3h had a fair bit more, and besides I said I missed mods, not past games.
>>4610486Weird how you didnt react once to all the other Fortune's Weave posts, but now that you found a tenuous thing to call the game not yuri again, in the exact same manner of phrasing as the idiot who has been wrong all thread, you suddenly came back to post this. The universe works in mysterious ways I suppose. Or you should change the way you write.>there are only two mutually exclusive pairingsAnd you base this one what exactly? Even leaving aside the protag, which is still yuri by all means, have you actually read a list of all Endings and all A-supports? I wonder if you did the actual research, yet somehow didn't know the very basic premise of the protag. Please go ahead. Share your source with us.
>>4610483So you just sit around doing zero research, wait for people to report info about a new game to you, and then when they report something you accuse them of being anti-yuri villains enacting a misinformation campaign to discredit the game...I'll simply not make another post about this game here and let you continue believing there is some treasure trove of yuri that's being hidden from you. If you ever want to wake up from the dream you can check twitter, /vg/, or even the Nintendo thread where people have gone out of their way to find yuri. It's funny seeing you engage in friendly fire and attack someone who actually posted evidence of yuri from the game. Maybe one day you will contribute something to a discussion here.
>>4610487>Share your sourceI already told you my source, this board, not that I read every single post mind you, I don't have unlimited free time, but from what I gathered between the Nintendo thread and here, including your previous post, the yuri pairs are both with Mu, one has her with Leda, one with another girl (Olimpia I think?), which makes two mutually exclusive ones. Now are you finally going to explain why I'm supposedly wrong, or are you too traumatized by the other anon you're taking me for to have a normal conversation?
>>4610489Wow, lazy bait. I gave several examples of misinformation being actively disproven, with evidence. I am only pointing out the pattern. Try harder.>friendly fireYou literally said you only posted twice and neither of those was posting proof of anything...? If you are a third person interjecting, maybe dont reply as if you were the first person I talked to.>>4610491>this boardNobody on this board (which is /u/ in case you forgot where you were, you do seem confused) posted any comprehensive list of supports actually. So that's a weird claim. It's funny that the guy I replied to above should probably have thrown his accusations at (You), considering you just believed whatever you were told right away based on anecdotes. You still didnt really justify why Eshmel pairings don't count either, beyond falsely calling it GB?
>>4610493>comprehensive list of supportsSo in other words, you're saying I'm right, but on the off chance there's some yuri content yet to be discovered I might not be quite 100%?That's what all of this was about?>You still didnt really justify why EshmelWhy do I have to justify anything, >>4610431posted the info and I went by it, if the info is wrong then say why. And I'm not talking about the futa fanfiction, I'm talking about the 'male/female MC are the same person' part. Not that I care all that much since self-insert romance is literal bottom of the barrel yuri even when there's no strings attached, what I was hoping for in this game were more yuri pairings among party members, going from Fates to 3h it seemed they were improving on that front, but after Engage and then this it seems they've reversed direction instead.
>>4610498>I am rightNot really. I said we don't have enough information yet, which was my stance the whole thread. But the only people who ever posted tangible proof of anything were those who proved yuri is in the game...>male/female MC are the same personUh yeah... in the same way m!Byleth/F!Byleth were. Or the Corrins. Or the Robins. If you meant that they were "the same person" that they are reincarnated from... that's more of a philosophical question? Soul reincarnation is hard to pin down. You wouldn't say Korra is a man, because she is reincarnation of Aang, a male Avatar in Avatar the Last Airbender, right? Most fiction treats reincarnation as a reset. And from the info I have seen Eshmel neither has the memories nor the personality of their previous incarnation. The soul just put into a new body like a reset. So female Eshmel is stil female.I can see why somebody would not care for that, but it certainly is not actually GB. And yeah I also don't fancy self-insert protags, especially if they are the silent type. But your disappointment at that is not really the same as the game having no yuri (on the off chance that it really is just protagonist pairings + Mu's two pairings).
>>4610500>not really the same as the game having no yuriWhich is an argument I've never made, all I've voiced since the beginning was my disappointment anon, you're the one who somehow thought that meant I was this mystery anon making that claim in the past.
>>4610502Are you or are you not the person who posted this? >>4610476The post after that said "you can hide my posts", so it implies this is the same anon >>4610479And then you replied to me here which started the rest of the chain >>4610486So are you the one who put "yuri" in quotation marks and called it GB or not?
>>4610503Yes, all of those are me, care to point out where I claimed there was no yuri in the game? The 'most of the yuri is GB', with quoted "yuri", was intended as 'most of the yuri is pairings with the MC, but since she's GB then it's not even real yuri, hence the quotation marks.I never said Mu x whoever does not count, as in the remaining minority of the yuri, that was just you being paranoid from some previous argument you've had.Now is the MC technically not GB because they share a soul and not a body or whatever, fine, I apologize for my improper use of the label, as you can imagine that's pretty far removed from my field of interest so i wouldn't know, but whatever you call it it's still shit for the same reasons, so all that's left are the two mutually exclusive pairings I've mentioned before.Have we finally come full circle?
>>4610506>it's still shit for the same reasonsI don't think so at all. It is a major distinctiion and the yuri is just as viable. If you had stuck to deriding it for being a bland self-insert I'd have repsected your take more.We willl see what the truth is when the full support and ending list is logged.
I just find funny as shit how you people defend the fuck out of Fortune' Weave... but no one here is actually playing the game. All the haters and defenders do it based on third party impressions.
>>4610529Most people don't own a Switch 2. And Nintendo games are hella overpriced.
>>4610531So?
>>4610542Stop acting obtuse. Can't play a game for a console you don't own. Also even if someone did, they would only reasonably do one playthrough, maybe 2, but there are 4 major routes and almost a hundred characters to go through. It makes more sense to gather info an compile it from the whole community of FE players.
>>4610546Being so ferociously interested in a particular game and not buying it makes no sense.
>>4610552Sounds like you never left your echo chamber then. People can enjoy games in many ways, like watching playthroughs. And eventually when the Switch 2 gets chapter people could decide to buy it and then it would be good to know how yuri this game really is.Also quit trying to make it look like someone is defensive for pointing out really obvious misinformation...
>>4610555It's not about posting about misinformation or not. It's about the thread revolving around a game no one has played and people being so passionate, both for and gainst, something they haven't experienced themselves. It's insane; the blind mand and the elephant.
>>4610560>discussion badYou are just a concernfag. Convo over.
I have played every Fire Emblem modded since the GBA days. I played Three Houses on an emulator for the mods. Hope the Switch 2 will be receiving the same level of cracks eventually so fans can improve Fortune's Weave too.
I do find it funny how angry some people got over the Leda & Mu paired ending acting like Leda GROOMED her when they don't even start a relationship until well past their twenties, with Mu being the one who pursues her. And their age gap isn't even that big, it's 4 years, and Leda is barely an adult at 19. I'm sure most fans prefer Leda & Olympia, but honestly I find Leda & Mu cuter and makes the most canon sense. It's adorable that Mu's gay awakening actually becomes her lover. Hopefully as time passes people can stop being fake mad at the pairing and more people will realize it's actually peak.
>>4610594Probably the same people who had issues with literally every Byleth pairing in 3H because she is their "teacher" and "groomed" them since their teenage years.Normies will always be stupid.
>>4610431>You can always check [other board] archiveNo. Never. Don't care. /u/ only.
>>4610431AhIf that really is the story then I'm glad the most prominent ships getting art are not the MC ones then. That is rather disappointing
Has anybody tried porting games using astra yet?Reading vn on e-ink android tablet would be pretty neat
>>4610805>Has anybodyWhy don't you do it yourself if you're so interested? The tools are there for everyone to use and experiment with
>>4610805I haven't tried porting games, but latest ChatGPT models have been tremendously useful for translating from Japanese better than humans would be able to do
>>4610839How dare you to not want stale 2020 memes, American politics proselytism and stale 2020 urban jargon in your game localizations? You monster
>>4610839You think people would just go on the net and tell lies?
What the hell is all this braindead shitposting all of a sudden. Begone AI freaks.
>>4610839Lmao
>>4610839Are these translations with us right now?
>>4610826It cost like $200, and with no guaranteed result.I'd rather gamble it and double the money.
>>4610839>translating from Japanese better than humans would be able to doReplace "better" with "faster", or "humans" with "a human that doesn't know much Japanese" and you'd be right. It's a good tool for getting the gist of something quickly, and I wouldn't fault someone for using it to play through something that's unlikely to be translated, but it still fails at translating based on the full context of the work. Machines cannot surpass good human translators without actually understanding what they are translating.
>>4610932Dont reply so earnestly to an obvious shitpost.
